The moment I walked in, I felt so welcomed. The reception team was incredibly friendly and full of great suggestions for places to visit and things to do – it made such a difference to my stay. I want to give a special shout-out to Vuyo and Njabulo from the night team. I was struggling with something late at night, and they helped me out straight away with such kindness – I really appreciated it. The place itself was super clean, and housekeeping made my bed every day, which was such a nice touch. Big thanks to them for keeping everything spotless! The volunteers were also amazing – always around to help and make sure everyone was having a good time with all the activities. I work in hospitality myself, so I notice the little things, and I could really see how much effort the whole team puts into making guests feel comfortable and happy. I had such a great time and would definitely come back!

- Very clean room, bathroom and sheets. This is 90% of what I look for so was very satisfied with the stay - Spacious room and bathroom - Central location, which is also easy to find - Manager was friendly - Fan in the room This was a very good place overall. I'm definitely going back.

- There was residual paint smell - Lady at reception rudely asking me "are you booked at the hostel" as I walked up the stairs. Very off-putting. I wonder if they ask everyone that freely walks up the stairs. But I'd like to believe it's one rude person who doesn't represent the overall culture of the venue, so I wouldn't rate them negatively based on this - My room key stopped working twice, so I had to stay out the room twice while they sorted it out

Great central location with everything you need within walking distance, staff are pleasant, comfortable, accommodation and common areas very clean. Cleaning done daily. Overall a great beyond expectation for a hostel, very well managed.

I work remotely so WI-FI is my bread and butter. It wasn't high speed as advertised, It was rather temperamental even in the shared work spaces. I stayed a couple of weeks.

The location Is perfect! In a very safe city center, walking distance to a lot of place, and not to far away from where the hikes start. Plus it has two very cool bars, daily activities, and the room (mountain view) is really great. Stayed 4 nights and had daily cleaning as well!

Not much, but some point to mention: the parking is not included, which doesn't make much sense, considering the payed price Plus, I didn't get a very friendly vibe from the staff, specially the 1st floor bar. There is a lot of people in the hostel, including a lot of people from outside in the bars, which make it lose the cozy feeling you get in other hostels/party hostels. All small complains!

I loved my stay there! As a solo traveller it is really easy to meet people, just book a tour with the Hostel. Phil and the volunteers are doing a great job. My room was big, with an extremely comfortable bed and a beautiful view on the table mountain. Staff is nice and helpful and the location ideal for whatever you may plan on doing.

If I would need to choose something, than that there is no hair dryer available. Minor issue.

The Hostel: Stayed in a private room which was spacious, welcoming, functional and clean. WiFi network, shower and water pressure all worked great. Common areas offer cozy vibes with plenty of seating. The Stay: Gardens is a very safe and secure neighborhood. The hostel is gated with entry codes provided to guests for access control. Conveniently located and a short distance to most attractions (20-minute Uber ride from CPT airport). The Service: The staff were incredibly kind and helpful. They were always available to answer questions and offer tour recommendations. Braai and other social activities held on-site regularly.

Nothing of significance — some reviewers complained about the noise coming from neighboring bars; however, I didn’t experience this. Additionally, the bars close at midnight making it a non-issue for me.

Place was clean and comfortable,all staff members are welcoming and helpful,and solo guy there Peter so cool to meet him he's so humbled,i was there for two oceans marathon so i had time to socialize,I shared a room with Johanna from Germany,Ralph from Zimbabwe and Jenna from New Zealand and me as South African we enjoyed ourselves,hope to see you next time.

Sharing a room with female,we were 3 guys and 1 females,there's not privacy for her and for us,after showering you have to use bathroom to change that's not cool..otherwise nothing wrong or bad happened were just like friends l.

Great location. Helpful staff. The room was perfect - tidy bathroom, good shower and comfy bed. Good wifi. The bar/cafe downstairs was a great place to sit to watch the world go by and do a bit of life admin. Great activities on offer through the accommodation - they have special activities you can join each day.

A bit noisy on weekend nights with bars downstairs but ear plugs were provided.

Great location; it is near the restaurants, and shops. I asked to be put in a male only dorm, they did the best they could, even though they do not have male only dorms available. Very thankful for that. The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable.

The shower hot water was not as hot as it could be, especially in Winter when I like to take hot showers. I had to turn the cold water off to get max hot water, and even then it was basically lukewarm. Also, I would suggest a male only dorm option.

Excellent location. Great check-in. Location and view onto Lions Head was a treat. Location of room onto city side with bistro and bar situated below. Vibey atmosphere but may be noisy if looking for quiteness. Coffe shops, restuarants, supermarkets within a few minutes walk. Easy comfortable walk into the city. Closely located to Table Mountain and other scenic attractions.
