Felt like staying in someone’s house instead of an impersonal hotel. Cosy and characterful. Loved having a fireplace in the room.
My room was in the front of the house right next to the front door. Whilst the door and other guests were generally quiet coming in and out, the large security slider gate woke me up at night.

This property is exceptional. It is beautifully decorated with lots of little extras added to make your stay comfortable. The rooms and bathrooms are spotless and decorated to the highest standards. I was recommended by a friend who had stayed here previously otherwise would possibly have not booked here...so glad we did. Marion is a brilliant manager and will help with any requests she can. All the staff work hard and it shows, they run Parker Cottage beautifully. Highly recommended.

The beds and linen were great Very good breakfast but small portions Friendly staff especially Marion A central location except Ubers struggled to find it so you must type in the street number Lots of security
Our room was no 3 and it was extremely noisy They set the dining tables in the morning so you are woken up early during the day to the noise Expensive for what you get and size of the rooms The toiletries in the bathroom pump didn’t work More attention to detail is required with someone checking each room as well as the details No bath or TV in either of the rooms and small if you have lots of luggage

Parker Cottage was the perfect place to stay while in Cape Town. The staff is so kind and accommodating. We immediately felt at home. Our room was comfortable and met all our needs. The breakfasts were incredible. We were not expecting the level of charm and graciousness. The location was perfect walking distance for many delicious restaurants. We could not have loved our stay more.

I liked the location and using the terrace for breakfast. Staff is very calm and friendly. Room was nice and spacious
However, the breakfast service is way too slow. When I was there alone one day, it took them 30 min to prepare eggs. Besides, what frustrated me - housekeeper mixed our used bathrobes and towels, not replacing them with new ones. Hence we couldn't use them afterwards. Also, housekeeper thrown away my packaging material, which I was going to use upon checking out for my luggage. This should never happen that personal belongings are thrown away!!! The bed is also a bit short

Parkers cottage is a Boutique Guest House is every sense of the word. This accommodation is a gem, in the Tamboerskloof area in Cape town and within walking distance of it's lovely shops, cafes, Restaurants and historic areas. With beautiful maintained grounds and lovely rooms and very friendly welcoming staff. We loved the stunning architecture and elegance with modern facilities and ultimate comfort and also the homey feeling. The food, presentation and service is just excellent. We are so thankful to the team for the memorable stays we’ve had on this trip to Cape Town. A truly wonderful experience, thank you all 😁😁We hope to get back for a second visit in the near future.
Nothing all your need's are catered for.

this year, we did a prospecting trip to discover new places in South Africa to travel there in the future with small groups of travellers. Parker Cottage Guesthouse was a hit for us. A very good location. Beautiful spacious rooms. extremely friendly staff and parking in front of the door, where security cameras guarantee the safety of your car. Breakfast is also more than excellent with a wide choice.

Amazing custom breakfast and coffee options every morning. Generous portions, wonderful communal dining and living rooms. Easy to meet and mingle with other guests, or keep to one's self. Pamela is an outgoing and accommodating host and owner. Her decor is serene, warm, modern, mixed with antiques and special touches. She arranged all of our outings and made recommendations and reservations where needed. Location is safe and easily walkable from bustling Kloof St area. Would highly recommend.
Near perfect accommodations. Only suggestions are a grab bar in the shower as tiles can be slippery, and a small night light in bathroom to avoid having to use bright overhead light in middle of night.

The hotel is an amazing heritage building with artistically done interior. Each room feels unique with its own cozy character; cleanliness is 10/10. The location is central enough to get to any CBD to waterfront eateries but a walk around the neighbourhood reveals a chic suburb with delicious coffee - I'd recommend Tamboers Winkels - opens at 630am, serves good coffee and pastries. I felt safe staying here and thats a deciding factor for me to book this hotel again.

Breakfast was outstanding, just a shame I was in a rush most days so couldn't eat/enjoy as much as I'd have liked to! Staff were amazing, so friendly and welcoming, special shout out to a new lady who checked me in and was super nice when I was a little upset. Rooms were super clean and had everything you could want. Can recommend Manna epicure restaurant which is close by.
The bathroom drain smelt a little on arrival but ok after a couple of showers
