The room is comfy. Coming from malaysia, the shower arrangement is very handy. If you know what I mean. No windows as mentioned but no prob for us. Full size fridge + sink + plates + iron with board. Full size shower gel, shampoo + conditioner too. The location near Chungmuro station. Just the corner of the police station. You'll reach the back entrance (1st floor) go to level 1. Leaving the bags before + after check out was smooth. Though a lil expensive for myr but it's worth the extra.

The bathroom door is a bit stuck and there a loads of dust below the air filter beside the bed (my clothes brush off the dust there).

The room was quite large and had a kitchen and washing machine. The bathroom though was small but manageable. The location was in the center and was walking distance to Myeondong Shopping area. The staff of the hotel was also helpful and assisted us for early morning travel to the airport. I would recommend this to those traveling to Seoul if you want to stay in the center of the city. Not to mention that the location of the hotel is near the subway.

Spacious apartment for 4 pax, clean wooden flooring, daily cleaning, washing machine with drying rack, small kitchen to enjoy simple breakfast. Good location - near to convenience stores, coffees, simple neighborhood restaurants, 5mins walk to Chungmuro subway station, 10mins to Myeong-dong. Also near to a drop off bus stop of the Airport Bus Limousine.

Main entrance drop off area is not covered, not so convenient when it’s raining.

We are a family of 5 adults and all of us found the apartment/rooms spacious and clean. It's an apartment with a fully equipped kitchen - cooking stoves with pots, utensils and crockery, refrigerator, dining table for 6. Request for assistance was quickly attended to - washing machine had alot of lint (only discovered after running my laundry in the machine) and they sent someone and got it cleaned within the day. There was also a good-sized foldable laundry rack. The front desk staff could speak reasonably well and were very helpful. Special mention of the excellent service of a female front desk staff who works in the day shift. Location-wise, its a 10 to 15 minute walk to the main myeongdong shopping area and also to chungmuro train station.

The most convenient way (and commonly used way) to walk to myeongdong shopping area was through the basement entrance/exit which led to a back alley. Personally, I do not like to walk in back alleys, especially at night. And, the basement entrance/exit has a stale and musky smell.

10 Excellent Points on this Hotel: 1. Spacious, complete facilities. 2. Very clean and high standard of cleaning by an excellent housekeeping staff. 3. Location is very near (approx 160m) to Myeondong subway stn and accessible to all interesting places. 4. Very friendly and helpful staffs. 5. Love the arrangement in the room (510) a double bed and single bed, dining table, cooking facility and washing machine. 6. Always felt safe and sound and we were able to sleep and rest well after a long walk during the day. 7. Oriens Hotel is seen to be applying all safety aspect in ensuring the secured stay of their customers. 8. Easy to get taxi/transport assisted by hotel staff from hotel to airport with fixed rate (77,000 KRW). 9. This hotel made me feel like home. 10. Excellent hotel, worth money and definitely will come back in future.

In future if breakfast (halal) can be organised for muslim guests would be great.

1. The refrigerator is very big 2. Have a small kitchen which can cook sth 3. Have a washing machine, it can wash and dry, great! 4. Walk about 10 mins to go to Myeongdong 5. Can keep luggage well before/after check in 6. Walk about 5 mins to Chungmuro bus stop (bus no. 6001 & 6015 to Incheon Airport), about 1hr 30mins, very convenient. 7. The nearest station is Chungmuro, walk about 5 mins. 8. The room is very big! I love it. I will choose the same hotel in the future trips.

1. Air conditioner is old and on the floor, it's difficult to cool the room. 2. I have some problems with washing machine and call the front desk to assist to solve the problem. He went to my room and asked "why we wash our clothes at 00:00, everyone has slept". I can feel he may be impatient. I don't think the voice of machine is loud enough to disturb other rooms. I wash my clothes from 22:00 and the machines needs 2hr 30mins to finish the washing. I was the first time to use the washing & drying machine and didn't know it needs long time. I was outside all the day, how can I wash my clothes earlier? I don't want to wash my clothes when I was not in the room!

Location was great! Super close to convenience stores, Chungmuro station, cafes, and was a short walk to the heart of Myeongdong. Bed was big and comfortable and it was so handy having a washing machine! Staff were very friendly and professional :)

Some parts of the room looked a bit old and worn out, the shower wasn’t great as it leaked out the side of the door soaking the entire floor each time, and at one point the hot water stopped working altogether (but the staff were very quick to fit that!)

Everything is good. the room is spacious, 5 of us stay together it is like an apartment, we are able to open wide big our luggage and still have space for some yoga in the living room. The floor heating is unreal. There is also small kitchen, but we did not cook. Location wise is near to Chungmuro station, there is some local restaurant outside the hotel we went, feels like local. Receptionist are very helpful, helped me to receive a few delivery and made sure that it was received by correct person. 24 hours receptionist, oppa even helped us to order midnight delivery, we couldnt ask for more.

I think everything is alright. the hotel looks abit old but is alright. My friends told me that the toilet was blocked water did not go down when they had shower, but it was fixed right away. so is all good. But i think i got it at a discounted price, so im not sure if this applies to everyone.

Phenomenal hotel, highly recommend!! The hotel room was a one bedroom, one bathroom apartment. It had a full kitchen with a big sink, gas stove, full size refrigerator/freezer, microwave, with dishes and cookware provided. There was a dining table with chairs, and a living area with a couch, coffee table, and TV. The bathroom was large, the shower had cold and hot water with strong water pressure. The bedroom was big with a comfortable bed. There were blackout curtains throughout the apartment. There was a balcony with a free laundry machine that has the function of a washer and dryer in one. As a note, it took 5 hours to wash, 3 hours to dry, and the laundry machine door wouldn't open until the machine completely cooled down. So I recommend doing your laundry a day or two before you leave! Or if you prefer, they have shared laundry machines for 3000 won to wash and 3000 won to dry, credit card only (about $4.50 USD total for one load). There was an AC unit in the living room and bedroom, but the living room AC was so strong that it cooled the whole apartment and we never used the bedroom one! The wifi in the apartment was great, and there's free wifi in the lobby too. The location of the hotel was exceptional. The back entrance was an alley full of local mom and pop restaurants with authentic Korean dishes. There were two convenience stores at the end of the alley, lots of coffee shops, and a bank with an international world ATM. The metro and bus stops are right there too. Also the hotel is in walking distance or 1 metro/bus stop away from Myeongdong Street which is full of the best street food in Seoul and stores for shopping.

Location (close to the station, bus terminal & convenience stores), laundry, heat for the room & flooring from the cold temperature outdoors, spacious room for a family and lots of luggage space + area to dry our laundry.

Everything was great considering that it's my second time here, just a bigger room for more people. However, our TV wasn't working haha it took a day or two to fix as they had to bring in a technician – the staff at reception was friendly at least.
