Very nice hotel, clean comfortable and nice friendly staff. in a great location especially for Olympic stadium. But the area itself is very nice away from the main tourist drag, yet still some great bars and restaurants in the neighborhood.

Location was excellent right next to Espanya metro station, and arenas shopping mall with a brilliant rooftop view. The rooms were modern and very clean. The staff were excellent on arrival and throughout, especially Danni and Julian.

Pillows too soft but that’s personal preference. Room sometimes got a bit too hot.

The check-in staff were super helpful and assisted us with all questions. Plenty of beverages in the room and good shower gel and toiletries. Excellent cocktails and staff in the restaurant.

No blanket for the bed, and I was cold. Food. although tasty, was ridiculously overpriced and tiny portions in the restaurant, which stops serving at 11pm even if you are still in the meal, so we could not have a coffee or dessert. Was not acknowledged when checking out despite speaking to the staff. Ended up leaving the card on the desk without a goodbye.

* Modern hotel with very comfortable details (AirCon very quiet and responds reliably to the finest settings; large modern shower with rain shower/shower head; large, comfortable bed, soundproof windows, etc.) * Reception and breakfast staff competent and helpful * Large breakfast buffet with ample room to sit even during the usual rush hours * No waiting time for the elevators (only 3 elevators, but very efficient)

* Pretty inflexible cleaning concept (if cleaned, then spotlessly clean; but guest has to leave room for at least 4 hours, otherwise he risks the room being left unmade) * Music volume in the hotel lobby would be appropriate for a disco * Some rooms have somewhat unusual floor plans (square bed in triangular room), which (in my specific room) resulted in a 10cm wide access to the table/chair in the corner

Staff were all very friendly and helpful. By the elevator access there is a station for water refill! The matresses were very comfortable, smooth feeling and cozy along with the duvet. The pillows were on the flatter side but smooth, I prefer flatter pillows so this was not an issue. The room service menu for late night options was very limited, overpriced for some food options like a bocadillo containing cured meat and cheese for €15. There is an extra charge for room service delivered to the room so we ate what we ordered near the lobby area/lounge. The room was clean, decent size for two to three people. The bed was two single beds pushed into each other to form a double bed as such. TV channels there were 60 I believe, most were in Spanish ofcourse, but there were some international options like BBC world. Regarding noise....the only noise/sound we heard was from people talking loudly in the mornings on the corridor or if they got back late at night, but we did not hear nothing between the walls next to us from the other rooms which is a plus! The lowest we could get the temperature to go was 15 degrees celsius within the room, whilst the aircon was on it was pretty quiet not much sound coming from it. The windows to the room we stayed (606) faced like a courtyard type of look of other windows from other rooms, so no noise from the streets was heard. As you come out of the hotel take a right and cross the road and keep going straight towards Plaça d'Espanya you will see a circular structure which is a shopping centre with restaurants, cinema, retail stores called Arenas de Barcelona. There is a nice tasting Japanese restaurant inside called Udon. There are quite a few cafès as soon as you walk out of the hotel take the left hand side and walk down you will find some nice yummy spots with good portions. Proximity to the bus stop was literally like diagonal and opposite from the hotel on the other side across the street.

The lighting in the room was not bright, it was more of a yellow hue quite dim so not as good for applying makeup in the room. Otherwise everything else was great.

O love the atmosphere and the style

The hotel is comfortable, clean and highly accessible, close to the metro, Barcelona-Sants Station, and airport bus has a stop right across the street. However, what truly stood out to us was the exceptional hospitality! From our very first encounter, we were thoroughly impressed. The staff goes out of their way to ensure your stay is as comfortable as possible. A big thank you to all the staff and trainees!

Our room had a small window with a view of other rooms. However since our stay was only for 1 night, it wasn’t a major issue and didn’t detract much from our overall positive experience.

Nice Hotel! We had an incredible stay, luckily caught a FCB match also, were lucky to get tickets in the final hours before the match. Stadium was a walking distance from our hotel. Very friendly and pleasant people in staff, especially Ricardo, Sandra (I hope I get her name right) and everybody. Genuine helping people with genuine and not made up smile:s) Value for money and wonderful useful location, not far from current RCB Stadium and 20-25 minutes drive from the airport. Niceley located, everthing in the vicinity or not far from the hotel. Thank you Guys!

A bidet in the bathroom or something like that will make the rooms more up to date.

A modern and well-appointed establishment situated in the vibrant Sants-Montjuïc district of Barcelona. Centrally located but quiet. Its prime location offers convenient access to notable attractions, only 150 meters from metro station. Contemporary rooms designed with comfort in mind. Everyday room cleaning. We enjoyed an early check in too. Key highlight was the breakfast with variety and good quality of products. Staff was very accommodating, they made us Greek coffee during breakfast 🙏

Room lighting is poor for the rooms that look inside the building. Personally I prefer natural light especially in the morning. Also, 1 small bottle per person everyday would be much appreciated. Finally, there was no toilet brush in the bathroom, this is a basic necessity that should be provided in every hotel room. However, those are minor issues compared to the hotel’s overall comfort, cleanliness, and excellent location.

Our stay at Indigo Hotel Barcelona Plaza Espana was already fantastic, but what truly set it apart was the outstanding customer care. When we accidentally left behind my daughter’s beloved stuffed rabbit, the hotel went above and beyond to not only help us retrieve it but to turn the situation into a beautiful memory. The team carefully packed the rabbit, added thoughtful little gifts for my daughter, and even created a heartwarming story about how her rabbit had enjoyed an extended holiday at the hotel. This level of attention and care from Guest Experience team is rare and speaks volumes about their commitment to guest experience. A big thank you to Paolo, Veronica and Julian! Beyond this, every aspect of our stay was wonderful—warm hospitality, great facilities, and a team that truly cares. If you’re looking for a hotel that makes you feel valued as a guest, this is the place to be! Would highly recommend and will definitely be returning!
