Loved our overnight stay at moon hostel. Needed a no frills sleep option as our flight got in late. Our room was basic but very clean. The automated check in process was easy and efficient. Beds were comfortable and clean (a little soft but that is to my liking). Lovely hot shower. Towels and sanitary products available. Liked the neighbourhood. Some bars and inexpensive food options close by. Half hour walk from our airport drop off bus (last stop). I will very definitely look to book moon hostel again. No contact with staff as the automated processes worked perfectly. We didn’t use any hostel facilities so can’t really comment on those but other folk seemed to be having their needs met in communal spaces. Very happy with our stay.

I have no negative comments to add.

6 beds dormitory with bathroom, mini soap, mini shower gel, towel, locker, kitchen, so everything what I need for a one night transit stop travelling to Oviedo. Bus station (intermodal) in walking distance (15-20 minutes)

The man who were in charge during the night were extra bad tempered. He even couldn't answer "hello" (the price has been raised during last 6 months when I made my booking, so price/value ratio is not so good anymore..)

The first male receptionist was fantastic and gave us good information. He also fixed the bed when we told him it was broken. There was a lift to get our bags up without struggling up the stairs. The room was okay with an open window to catch the breeze. The bathroom was small but functional with a good hot water service. The location was great, close to the Guggenheim and about 30 minutes from the old town. The community area was pleasant with a kettle and fridge to store food.

The bunk bed near the window, where I like to sleep, was difficult to access as the ladder was right against the wall. I had to get a foothold on the heater then hoist up. Sometimes the mattress slid and I nearly fell off. The bed had slats which were broken when we arrived. The receptionist organised repairs immediately which was good. On a hot day the room could be stuffy as no fan.

You get what you expect in a this one bedroom hostel. Moon hostel was very clean and the location was brilliant. On a quite street but close to a number of geat bars and cafe.

Linking your phone to the room and front door access. It was so much easier once we got the code to tap in.

A lot of people have given bad reviews saying the hostel wasn't clean, but that is not true at all. Security was great and I had no problem with the security card getting in and out. The atmosphere was grand and I made friends easily with some guys who are a bit more long term. The girls on the desk were very helpful and friendly too. This is a good hostel in a good location near the Metro. It was a bit hard to find because Google maps printed a misleading picture, but it was all right in the end.

The only downside for me was that you couldn't cook. There's only a microwave.

Was clean, friendly staff, a kitchen to sit and relax and have a tea.easy check in and out.

My mattress wasn't comfortable but are not all the same with springs. Was a bit difficult to find, google maps has wrong location, it's in between streets not on the main street.

Its located at a walkable distance from the metro station, and the bus station is just about 100m. The checkin process was easy, as u can self check-in using the ATM outside the facility. The bed was cofy, clean and they also give u free towel (unlike other hostels in EU) :p

Clean comfortable rooms and bathroom facilities.

Could do with air conditioning in the rooms, they were extremely warm . We were in the middle of a heatwave so may be more comfortable at other times

Very friendly and helpful staff! Felt welcome immediately and they went out of the way to help me with a request outside of their normal service.

The walls are very thin and sound travels easily - bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper!

Great place, near the public transport stop, from where there are direct bus to both the airport, Getxo Beach and Gaztelugatxe rocks too. The city centre is within reach of a short walk. Tea and coffee available 24/7, big towel and toiletries included in the price.
