The shower in the room was very slow draining which made it not possibly to have on full power without flooding. Although a kettle was provided in the room there was only enough milk, tea and coffee for the first morning. When I asked for it to be topped up I was told this was not possible and was for the first morning only! I felt the older male reception member I aked to be rude about this too! I therefore had to bring milk and additional teabags to the room myself from the breakfast buffet in order to be able to make use of the kettle!

The staff were wonderful and so friendly, especially Maya who made us feel very welcome. Our room was spacious. quiet and had a superb sea view. We really enjoyed the yoga and aqua aerobics and the evening entertainment every day. The food was delicious, always so fresh and the best omelettes I've ever had. The gym was small but always clean and had a good range of equipment considering. I've seen reviews complaining about the seating but we never felt uncomfortable. There are plenty of blankets available in the pool bar and main bar if anyone did want to pad out their chair but honestly feel this was very picky of previous reviewers. We enjoyed playing crazy golf on the roof of the shopping centre opposite (5 euros each) and had a good walk to the shopping centre near Playa El Veril a couple of times too. As a female couple it can be difficult (and a bit scary) to go to a place not knowing how you will be treated but everyone was very kind and we never felt out of place or unwelcome by anyone, including the other guests.

We went to the spa but it was too busy to be enjoyable (despite us booking) and I found an elastoplast in the pool in there which was grim. Offering vegan yoghurt or vegan ice cream would have been really good in terms of food. We'd have loved some fresh drinking water in our room every day and a better range of tea and coffee in the room, but the housekeepers did a fantastic job otherwise.

What a great place to relax and tune out the world! The location is perfectly situated above an excellent beach, while also situated above the beach for people watching. The staff was incredibly hospitable, upbeat and made for a comfortable stay.

I wouldn't say we didn't like it, as the food at Las Burras was exceptional. However, we were uncertain as to the relationship between the resort and the hotel. While we were able to enjoy a meal at the restaurant, it became clear there was a unique 3-course menu for resort guests (who were on an all-inclusive plan), other what other patrons received. In fact, once the waiter found out we were on a resort package, he swapped out our menus. It made us feel a little second-rate, in what had been a first-rate experience across the board at the resort up to that point. To be honest, had I known this before sitting down, I would have gladly ordered from the regular menu, including a preference of wine and paid whatever the bill game to.

-Spa was really small and saunas not very hot to German standards, so we would not recommend it -The hotel guest are mostly old people and entertainment is aimed to them -Safe in the room has to be paid extra -Parking situation during midday can be problematic. Hotel has own parking places but they are quite expensive and we didn’t use them

It’s a well managed established hotel next to a beach with ever changing, rich all-you-can-eat breakfast and dinners. It’s got a nice exterior pools and bars. It’s perfect value for money. The staff is great, they always try to do what they see on your eyes.

I can’t say I didn’t like it, but it’s good to know the clientele, at least during our stay, was mostly people over 50-60 years old. Also the animation in the hotel is kind of catering to that age group (but if you want, it’s not far to go to bars in centre instead staying in hotel for Abba night or grandma fashion show). Maybe that’s why there is not that much vegetarian options among mains (but always enough salads and sides to combine something nice, even you don’t eat meat).

Very good, everything I would want and more, the food was lovely, including gluten free bread available on request. They would make you something GF given a few hours notice - I didn't use this option as there was plenty of choice already. The staff were great, they listened, and discussed any issues we had.

Some days - the busier days, they could have done with more staff on. The choice of wines available on the all inclusive option was very poor- basically just the (very indifferent) house wines. There was however a good voice of spirits and cocktails. Apparently this was all cost and supplier led . I have to admit I was disappointed with the wine choices.

Upgrade to the top two floors as the views are unbeatable and away from the noise below. All rooms face the ocean and the gorgeous black sand beach. The choice of pillows made a huge difference in our sleep The food was varied and the buffet offered LOTS of healthy choices. Appreciated the Spanish cuisine being featured and plenty of seafood. This facility does offer a variety of evening entertainment should you want to join in, as well as Rene the social director does morning yoga and water aquacize....it's not for everyone but glad to have the option of joining in. Close to walkway into Mespalomas and the Dunes (45 minute walk)

The lineups for the dinners could have been remediated with two sittings like a cruise ship. I found when we took a later dinner often the food had been picked over. The cappucino machine could be better as it was watery and the house wine (by glass) could be really improved or at least have options to upgrade. Note it is an older over 60-year crowd but if younger you can choose it for the quiet vibe and no fuss about sourcing meals and two pools, next to the walk into town.

Everything was amazing! The room was spacious and we had everything we needed, the staff very friendly, the food great and the beach location was a 10/10 (it was nicer than on the pictures)
