Gloria Palace is a very large, busy hotel with lots of activities, some are included in the price and some charge extra. There are also plenty of areas to relax in. We liked the pool areas and there were plenty of comfortable sun loungers available. We also played tennis and used the spa, which is very luxurious. We went to the disco on Friday night which was fun. My kids loved playing pool. The staff were mostly helpful and friendly but sometimes could be a bit abrupt. The area is OK - pretty quiet if you just want to stay in the hotel that is fine. There are a few shops and restaurants 10 min walk away. Playa de las Burras is nicer than San Agustin beach but very small. You can get a local bus to bigger places if you want more to do. We loved Puerto Rico and Puerto Mogan.

The food was OK. The freshly cooked food (pancakes and omelettes for breakfast, fish and meat for lunch and dinner) was really good but the buffet food was a bit repetitive and sometimes lukewarm. It would be good if the disco was open more than one night a week and if the pool tables were free or cheaper (2 euros a game is quite a lot!). More umbrellas around the pools would be good as sometimes we couldn't get one. We had one of the older rooms and there were no hooks or rails to hang towels on.

Nice rooms, Nice ser view and good space in pool area

Gorbea restaurant not what it likes... really bad quality Breakfast buffet - to crowded and to many germans with bad maners, they react like monkeys who never have seen food

The hotel is very clean, kind stuff never boring we have entertainment every evening.

We stayed a week, the only thing we didn’t like was the breakfast buffet. It was boring after 2-3 days. The coffee is AWFUL everyone of us got tummy ache from it. No fresh vegetables for breakfast, no salad, only dry cucumber and tomatoes. In a Mediterranean place like this they should serve more vegetables, greens and healthy options.

This is a place where you will want for nothing. First of all, I need to mention the level of cleanliness, which was top notch (and I'm very picky when it comes to that), both in my room with the daily cleaning and in the facilities (pool, gym, common areas, etc). Secondly, there is literally anything you may wish for, pools, spa, gym, game room, bar, entertainment... you are all set here. They even have an ATM and a cigarette vending machine, a little shop, and a rental car company has a stand in the hotel. The location is a 12 min walk from the promenade that takes you to playa del Ingles and then (if you really like walking 😅) to maspalomas. Within walking distance, there are plenty of great restaurants as well. But you'll probably have a car (I spent 87euro for 8 days renting) so you're perfectly located to travel around the whole south of the island (or north as well you're up for a longer drive). I also saw bus stops nearby, so that's also a possibility, I guess. Many of the guests were elders (I went in March, so maybe it's because of that), and I had the feeling they were having a great time! So if you're older I would recommend this place even more. I only had breakfast included, so I can't speak about the lunch or dinner options. Breakfast has countless options, to the point where it's almost too much. What I particularly appreciated was the fresh bread every morning.

In my case, I would've preferred fewer options for breakfast but higher quality ones. I know that that may not be a common sentiment, so it's only my opinion. The mattress was ok (probably need new ones in the next couple of years because I could feel they were starting to dent), but they use the old school hotel linen that keep slipping out of place - a little annoying. The gym, which is otherwise really great for the standard hotel gym, has a few machines that are really old. Finally, they have entertainment probably every night, but I didn't see anywhere a program so that guests don't know when and what it's going to be. That's the only real thing that they should absolutely improve on and promote!

I have chosen this hotel many times, as it is always a great experience. They are improving and getting better and better over years. Beautiful views, comfort, always good food, staff very kind. They have significantly improved quality of evening music since last year - all singers were enjoyable. Appreciate a lot and coming back soon.

Because of overbooking, we were given another room for the 1st night, before we could move into a room we had ordered. As a compensation we were upgraded to All Inclusive for that 1st day. I believe it could be a win-win for some people, while others value stability and predictability more and are stressed by additional moving in and out. Overall - no big issues to complain about.

The hotel is beautiful and has amazing facilities very good value for what you pay. Staff were super lovely and attentive at dinners etc. Complementary spa and bubbles for my birthday was very appreciated. Thank you!

We did find multiple occasions where staff were unaware of questions we asked. We did not receive much of a guide of what was included or where anything was. The cocktails were not great and some made well and a lot made straight from machine without any blending. Sunbeds could have been policed more and we did find the adults pool full with children and not in the pool made for them.

We had a wonderful time and in general it is a nice 👌and large hotel in a nice location with an excellent breakfast (buffet) , wonderful staff in the restaurant and many thanks to Monica for the wonderful service of cleaning our room. We have no complaints about the cleanliness it was 10 out of 10 or the breakfast and restaurant or the bar everything was great 10/10 but.. The first day at check in, a young student Sam checked us in, he gave us a room on the 1st floor out of 9 floors in total balcony directly next to the pool - even though I booked a double room with a sea view and also previously wrote an email and a message through booking that I wanted a room on the high floors and I was told that it was noted, that was schoking. I am not the type to bother with the staff or disturb staff with stupid questions and I don't care if someone smiles at me 24 hours a day but to get something completely opposite to what I booked and wanted that is what I didn't like at all. We immediately went down to ask for a change of room so we didn't want to use the room so we asked for a change room right away, but the two young students told us that it was not possible right away because the house was full and that we should come in the morning for a change (I myself work at the reception and I know what that means) but since we asked for it right away after check in, maybe something could be done i know because i work on the same position , but ok, the young workers at the reception thought that it couldn't be done right away so we agreed to come in morning. The next day we contacted other receptionists and we got a wonderful room on the 7th floor, we enjoyed our entire stay in a wonderful room and a wonderful view from the balcony.

Our stay in this hotel was really wonderful, apart from the room , we used the spa, the outdoor pool ( amazing) 🤩, great cocktails in the bar, thanks to Alonso for the delicious cocktails and the nice service, and aqua gym and zumba! amazing🤩🤩. The only thing that spoiled our impression at check-in was the room assigned to us and the impossibility of solving it immediately. In general, the reception has nice workers, Mr. Omar and the blonde girl, I didn't see her name but she was very nice to us, very nice receptionists but the young students seem very insecure, which somehow gives off the impression of unprofessionalism. Funny fact some receptionists dont speak spanish at all 😳.

We loved the variety of the buffet, there were plenty of sunbeds, fun entertainment, friendly staff, comfortable rooms, relaxed atmosphere, free gym! It's a mile walk to the next row of restaurants and we enjoyed the walk along the beach to go out at nightif we wanted a change of scenery but we were equally happy to stay at the hotel. Would Recommend!

The tea and milk was not replaced each day in the room and we had to ask daily. The spa staff were lovely but did not explain the facilities and we found that we only had access to the pools not the sauna etc, and the spa pools seemed a little run down.

Pools were beautiful, salt water and big. The beds were super comfy and the showers were great. The spa is 100% worth a visit also. Stunning. The cleaners were super friendly and the views from the rooftop pool were breathtaking. The entertainment was really good also , the singers and their costumes were great. Kids in the hotel seemed to have loved it! Was a very welcoming atmosphere by the pool bar. The bar staff were quick, happy and helpful! There was also a free shuttle bus into the town which was very helpful.

The food was not so great, not much variety , felt as though I could not make a full meal from buffet items and people were very pushy and it was overcrowded. Although you do not pay much extra for this so I guess you get what you pay for! The hotel staff were so nice apart from one lady on the late shift , I couldn’t get water from the vending machine as it would not work for me, I asked for help from her nicely and she rudely just replied , “no… too late for water!” I understood it was late and I felt upset and bad for asking them ! Then a male member of staff nicely helped me out. I just felt as though as soon I walked over to her she was looking at me like she did not want to help me or even look at me, quite upsetting ! But the rest of the staff were so friendly and helpful.

All honest was near spot on. Room was well sized and we had a brilliant view over pool and over sea as on 7th floor. Free water in rooms every day is nice touch and cleaned daily. Reading reviews on some saying food wasn’t good then I think were wrong, We do all inclusive all time and this was one best ones for sure especially really enjoyed breakfast, was a different themed dinner each night and for sure keeping snacks etc in the designated area is so much better as stops all the bins being full off rubbish and then that attracts smells and flies so a big plus on that. Drinks was good and nice to actually have a good beer on tap and fresh bottles of coke and Fanta etc is much better than out machines. Pools and all hotel area was great and couldn’t fault anything if I’m honest and would recommended and stay again.

Nothing.
