The hotel which has been recently completely refurbished is simply wonderful in terms of location, facilities and design. Very nice swimming pool, padel court and tennis court. The hotel restaurant (Smoix) is definitely one of the top restaurants in menorca if not the best at least for us. The staff of both hotel and restaurant are amazing, very professional and welcoming (Nuria at the reception). The property is small enough to make you feel at home.

The addition of a proper bar lounge would be a great addition to the property.

The hotel has recently been renovated and it is so beautiful, artistic and has a sense of serenity. They now offer free yoga classes twice a week which was amazing to do in the dabbled sunlight in the morning. The breakfast is great, there’s a buffet of pastries, fruit, yoghurt and tomato toast, and you can order a main e.g scrambled eggs and avocado, or sobrasada with cheese and honey on toast. It’s nice to be in a quiet area with close reach of the Cuitadella. We rented a car and this meant we could embrace being in the countryside but also still explore the island. Free parking at the hotel. The hotel staff are so helpful and will take the time to answer any question and help plan your activities.

Would have loved a full length mirror in the bedroom!

The property is brand new, and the look is incredible. Such a good mix between essential, design, and care. A real authentic experience with a kind staff. I loved everysingle moment there. I recommend not to miss the breakfast, or to get a massage in the middle of their quiet forest. I already miss this beautiful place, and hope to go back soon.

There is not much I did not like to be honest. I would have troubles find out. The only thing is that if I give a too good review they will end up increase their prices. :) MAYBE I would have like the rooms to be a tiny bit cheaper, that would make me want to go more often and stay longer. :)

The staff were fabulous! Marta at reception & Natalia in Smoix. The buildings, pool area were beautifully & tastefully renovated. We loved the tennis & padel courts too.

The lack of food options at lunch & only have Smoix as the food option. We had to pre-order a sandwich before 12:30 if we didn't want a full 3 course high end meal. It lacked snack and drink options by the pool for more casual dining.

This hotel is beautifully curated. From the gardens, to the outside dining and pool area. It is the perfect balance of luxurious, and natural. Very elegant. A really romantic get away … we will be back!

As you are in the calm of countryside, there is Ofcourse natural insects that come with this. Perhaps a natural anti - fly solution is possible to stop the mosquitos. But I believe this is only an issue in September. The rooms also need a little acoustic & light protection from the hallways during the night.

Loved everything about this property!! The moment you check in you don’t have to worry about a thing. The pool is extremely nice lots of sun beds to choose from. Breakfast was a 10 every morning. The setting is perfect, just outside of the busy city but not too far about a 10 minute drive ! All I can say is STAY HERE! Also the staff was extremely nice and always helpful.

Very nice, peaceful, rural hotel. Ample parking. Attentive staff. Smooth check in. Room had been upgraded. Spotlessly clean. Liked the style. Lovely pool.

We dined at the outdoor restaurant the first night - food was fine but the flies spoilt our experience - hence dined in Ciutadella the second night. Less flies at breakfast. One of the most boring omelettes I have ever had - they need to offer to add cheese/ham/peppers/tomato/onion/anything or all of the above.

What a fabulous hotel! A lot of attention to detail and a very caring staff. The property is beautiful and cozy. Even though the pool bar wasn’t open full day, when it was we had the most delicious snacks in our sunbeds.

The only small thing is that breakfast isn’t a full buffet, you choose one of the main (warm) options and need to pay extra for additional itens, but you still get a delicious breakfast anyway.

The Old Rural Charm of the building and the amazing surrounding gardens create an atmosphere of tranquility and serenity that is hard to explain. Rooms are spacious, the gardens and sitting area by the pool simply delicious. The staff however were on another level! You would be hard pressed to find such friendly and accommodating staff in any top of the class 5 star hotel. It makes the whole experience truly feel. Like a Small Luxury Hotel. We asked for picnics to take to our daily boat excursions and even moving away from the standard options, everything we asked was simply delivered with a smile. Our youngest son is also highly allergic to milk protein and all of its derivatives, eggs, nuts and some fruits, and the hotel went out of its way to make sure no cross contamination was possible and that there were always appropriate options for him at breakfast. Amazing.

I would rather call this a wish list more than dislikes. Everything needs to be put in context and this is, after all, a rural hotel. There was the odd spider cobweb in the high ceilings in our room (again, rural) and the furniture style could be revamped into a more “rural hippie chic” style. Not that it felt like it needed replacement but rather more of a personal preference. But this is truly nitpicking and we go back in a heartbeat.

This place is a true haven of peace. The rooms are cozy and comfortable, the breakfast is a delight with fresh local products, and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. We couldn’t recommend this little slice of paradise more highly!
