The room was the smallest bedroom l have stayed in in almost 6 weeks It was noisy from road traffic & walkers outside Plus l could hear foot steps & toilets flushed from upstairs residents no sound proofing

This was our 4th stay through the years at Sercotel Hotel Europa. We return because the staff, the hotel does not disappoint. The staff are professional but also warm and friendly. The Hotel is one street from the beach although there is not a view from the rooms. The breakfast is quite varied and not in a cramped space, one can choose your own table and food. There is 24 hour reception and the hotel is very clean. We will come again for a 5th visit next year.

My only wish is that it would be on the street of the beach with a beach view. But this is a good hotel, great staff, clean so I don't mind a one street walk to the beach.

The location, location, location, lovely lobby, helpful staff and ease of check in. We very much appreciated staff having English. The hotel is walking distance to wonderful cafes, restaurants, beach, etc.

The room was a bit stuffy and dark. I couldn't open a window because the noise of the pipes from the other buildings was too noisy. The walls seem really thin and we could hear water flushing and rooms being opened and closed. You couldn't tell what type of a day it was (weather wise) until you went down to the lobby as the window looked out to the internal walls of the hotel. However, we knew we weren't going to be in the hotel room for much of the day so it was fine.

This hotel was one block walking distance from the crescent beach, in a part of town that had many stores and restaurants. There were 2 Hop-on, Hop-off bus stops near the hotel. Buffet breakfast was available each day with self-serve coffee machines for guest use. The breakfast was varied with hot and cold foods and was very nice.

At checked-in we were asked to choose a time for breakfast so a table could be reserved. At first, this was stressful for us since we are on vacation and did not know our schedule. As it turned out, there were few people staying there and many tables were available, so it didn’t really seem to matter.

Reception was helpful, staff spoke numerous languages, nice touch at reception was fresh water dispensers with citrus and some sweet treat to help yourself to. Rooms were comfortable including the bed, shower was good. Breakfast was a highlight which is unusual as I usually find hotel breakfast are not worth while .. this one was really good and included in our price. Fresh orange juice from an orange squeezer was a real bonus, plus Cava if you wished..this may have been because it was Christmas season, but a lovely idea. Plenty of fresh fruit, lovely breads and pastries and good jams, cold meant and eggs etc .. very impressed.

As the bathrooms have limited space they would benefit from split or bi-fold doors opening into the bedroom rather than a full door opening into the bathroom, this would make a world of difference.

Very good location, close to the beach and the old part of the city. Nice breakfast too, good internet, room not big but good for someone traveling alone, and newly renovated. Peaceful and quiet place, no outside or inside noise.

When I arrived very early in the morning by night bus, there was someone at the desk who told me to come back by 2 pm to check in, a bit unkind he was, and as it was a rainy and windy day, I was waiting in the lobby. The next guy kindly gave me the room already in the morning hours, very grateful to him, because I was soaking wet.
