At first I was slightly sceptical of this place because of the cheap price, yet good location and facilities. However it turned out to be just as good as described! ^^ The location is excellent, you have everything within a walking distance. The room was also very quiet despite the loud environment outside. The air conditioning in the room was perfect and always kept the room cool despite the summer heat outside and everything was very clean. The hotel staff was also very kind and helpful at all times. Would definitely recommend staying!

There was very little shampoo and shower gel available, but it was nice you could get more just by asking. The mobile connection was very bad at first but wifi started working after the first night. Safe box required 1€ coin every time you wanted to close it, but it wouldn’t close every time and would jusy eat your money.

This place was very nice and located in a great spot. It seemed no more than a 15 minute walk to any significant attraction in the city (except Plaza de España) and it was very easy to walk into Plaza Nueva and get a taxi if we wanted to go further. The area is vibrant, loaded with bars and restaurants which, while not cheap, are really good quality. The room was quiet and very clean; and the shower was great too. The air conditioning helped us easily manage the baking Sevilla heat.

The only complaint I have for this place was that our double room was just 2 single beds pushed together. It was impossible to sleep next to my girlfriend without the beds splitting apart and one of us sinking into the gap. We ended up just sleeping in the same single bed together each night which was okay, but it certainly would've been nicer to have a double bed rather than two singles.

Over 50 solo female traveller here. 3 nights. Perfect location. 130mtrs to Puerta del Sol with Sol train station underground. Variety of restaurants including fast food outlets around. All sites within walking distance. I felt very safe and comfortable. Stayed in a single room, small as expected. Facing the road which becomes noisy in the evenings. I sleep well so it never bothered me. If it does, ear plugs are provided in the room. Bathroom is also small. If you’re a larger person it might be a tight squeeze - again, personally, it was not an issue. Large wooden main door is closed at all times. Buzz to enter. Lift available. Hotel on 2nd floor. Host is kind and helpful. Non English speaking but we managed! The location, comfort and safety for me, was key.

Very friendly owners and staff. 24h reception. The location couldn't be better for a tourist, it's about 20m from Puerta del Sol. You want to be closer, you'll have to pitch a tent on the plaza :-). The room furniture is old but functional. The bed was very comfortable and the room very clean. For two people, the room might be a little bit small, but for one person it's good. The area around the hotel was safe even at 2 a.m. I would definitely return to this hotel the next time.

Since the hotel is located centrally and there are restaurants and bars nearby, there was quite a lot of noise late on the street which the windows could not shut off completely. I knew this in advance so I was not surprised. The hotel provides ear plugs which made it good for me. The second night, I didn't even use the ear plugs and slept very well. Maybe I was just too tired.

Been to Madrid many times, so knew the location and expected it to be noisy, but it wasn't that bad actually. The balcony had double door, so helped to reduce the noise. Nice friendly staff, you had to leave your key at reception going out and upon returning, press the buzzer at the downstairs front door, stating your room number. You were then let in, always someone there to answer immediately, so never a problem. 24 hour reception. It has a lift right up to the second floor where the hostal is. I stayed in the single room on Calle VIctoria. Yes it was small, but very clean and comfortable. Good comfy, cosy bed too. Bathroom was quite small, but very clean. Hot water at all times. Not many toiletries, just couple of sachets of shower gel, but I always bring my own anyway. Room was cleaned daily by staff. Great Wifi at all times. Location is right where you want to be for all the attractions. Calle Victoria where the hostal is, is on a lovely pedestrianised street full of a tapas bars and a nice buzz about it, as a female travelling alone, I felt very safe. You can't go wrong staying here, I would definitely return, it ticks all the boxes for what I look for when travelling .... location, cleanliness, nice staff, 24 hour reception and great value.

Great value for money location was excellent walking distance to many cafes bars restaurants Plaza Mayor shops couldn't fault it at all. Staff very friendly especially the guy who did night shift can't remember his name. Was noisy at night due to bars below but earplugs we're given to us and worked a treat best night sleep pillows comfy and bed . Lovely hot water in shower. I would definitely stay here again when visiting Madrid.

Maybe not take your euro every time you open the safe so didn't bother using it in the end .

The room was very conveniently located near the Plaza Sol. 3 minute walk from metro. Staff was friendly. As expected room was small. Room is quiet especially being near a major spot. 40 steps up to rooms or you can use small elevator. Ring bell at entrance to be admitted to building.

The room is small, but traveling alone and for 1 or 2 nights it is fine. Small bar of soap or small packet of soap and shampoo. You must leave room key when leaving. 24 hour staff so really not an issue.

Location is unbeatable!!!! Around 3 minute walk from the metro. Plaza Major is 3 minute walk and Gran Via is just a 10 minute walk. Shopping and restaurants everywhere. Staff are sweet and friendly. Room is super clean.

Only negative point is the noise. We are in the city center so expect noise until 2am!! Although at the hostal they give earplugs but its still so noisy.

Super central, perfect location for a short trip. Small but well-equipped. Very friendly staff.

Due to the location, there was always some noise from outside. The rooms do have double windows though, so some of it was dampened. A peculiarity of the hotel is also that one needs to always leave the key at the reception and then ring to get in. The reception is open 24hrs and I never had to wait, but I would have preferred to have a key and not have to ring every time.

Location is incredible (specially going to the airport), there’s great places around to eat and it’s not far from the main attractions. Staff is friendly too. The rooms are quite small (at least ours) but they are fine as long as you don’t have a huge suitcase (we had 2 medium suitcases but we still managed) and the bed is reasonably comfortable. I think for the price it’s a great option :)

It didn’t bother me but it can get noisy at night as there are bars downstairs. Bring earplugs if you’re a light sleeper.
