The location is ideal for those planning to use the Atocha train station, and it’s also close to the city center (roughly 15-30 mins walk). The hotel is clean and well maintained with a quiet open space area where you can read or work away from the noise. The hotel staff is helpful.

The rooftop restaurant was a disappointment: we booked a table 24 hrs in advance, specifically asking to be seated on the outdoor terrace. When we came, we were told that no tables are available outside - and then we observed that about three tables remained vacant outside for the next 1.5 hrs. The restaurant staff also seemed badly coordinated and poorly trained, though the food was good. Also, beware that the lobby bar is closed on Sunday evenings.

Room was a good size, comfy bed, clean and well maintained, good soundproofing. Only stayed one night to break up our train journey through Spain, right next to Atocha station so perfect for train travellers. Fantastic breakfast, spoilt for choice. Rooftop bar and restaurant was lovely, great food and views across the city. Friendly staff.

Perfect for people traveling by train. Very clean and comfortable with friendly staff. There is construction right outside the hotel and it’s going to go on for a while. Get an inner facing room to avoid it.

A truly wonderful hotel! The design is beautiful, and the service is outstanding. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the facilities are great – especially the restaurant and the lovely breakfast bakery. The only downside was the lack of proper soundproofing. We could clearly hear noises from the room above us, as if we were sharing the same space, and street noise was quite noticeable since the hotel is located on a main road. I still highly recommend the hotel, but I do hope they work on improving the sound insulation to make it a perfect stay – especially for light sleepers.

We chose to stay at Only YOU Atocha for its convenient location near the train station, as we were traveling by train. In general, we had a good stay. The staff were exceptionally helpful and kind, the housekeeping was excellent, and the hotel itself was beautifully designed. Both restaurants, on the ground and upper floors, offered great service, a delicious breakfast, and a solid selection of drinks.

While our room was nice, it felt a bit cramped due to oversized furniture like a large wardrobe and dressing table. One design issue that really stood out was the bedside lamps attached to the bed - because of their placement, we kept accidentally hitting our heads when reaching for the bedside table. Additionally, staying in an inner courtyard room meant we could hear staff talking, likely due to the echo. This wasn’t an issue during the day since we were out, but one night at 1:30 AM, we were woken up by the noise of bottles being collected and loud conversations, which was quite disruptive.

We stayed for 3 nights. Two evenings they had dj's in the bar and/or lounge. Volume was way too loud, conversation was hardly possible. After our complaint, the receptionist staff took it seriously and made sure the bar dj turned down the volume a bit. Apparently not enough because many bar guests choose to go somewhere else (so the bar was less talmst empty) and even the bar personnel was not amused. The only one enyoying the music was the dj himself. We o nt oppose music in general, but overall in our opinion music in the bar or lounge should be cosy, amusing or entertaining but not in your face!

The dedication of the staff to fulfilling the needs of their clients and making them feel like truly honored guests was striking, and it very likely reflects a priority of the brand's corporate culture. The location within an easy, short walk to Madrid's main train station and the terminus of the easiest bus transfer from the airport would be hard to beat. My room was of generous size and impeccably clean. The breakfast was very good and served in the dining room on the top floor with great view of the city.

The hallways leading to the rooms had a cold, uninviting industrial look.

The service wasn’t what I expected. A number of issues ranging from ordering a drink and only half a glass of wine being poured, until we asked and then it was rectified. On another occasion we asked for a seat at in the bar to be told they had none, the bar was half empty, we sat on the rooftop and when it started raining they sat us in the bar as originally requested. Just examples that left us feeling like an inconvenience or not valued.

The location is excellent – within walking distance of the city center and close to the beautiful botanical gardens, a perfect spot for jogging or walking. It’s also near the grand station, making it easy to get to and from the hotel. The facilities are stylish and modern, featuring a beautiful rooftop and a well-equipped gym. Breakfast is extraordinary, offering a wide variety of choices to suit every palate. Maintenance is clearly a priority, as everything is spotlessly clean. The staff are attentive, polite, and welcoming. I would definitely come back!

The room was small but lovely. And the little touches like make up remover and a giraffe print dressing gown was a nice touch. The bar was great.

Breakfast didn't serve veggies well and finding clean coffee cups, cutlery and plates could be a challenge. The location - great if you were travelling to/from Atocha station, but if not you are in the middle of a highway with loads of roadworks (which thankfully couldn't be heard in our room). Short taxi ride away from all the good stuff.
