The location was excellent, situated in the heart of the city, and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. I would like to extend a special shout-out to all the staff members, who were incredibly friendly, kind, and accommodating. When I informed them about my medical procedure and requested assistance with carrying my luggage to the taxi after check-out, they were more than willing to help. Their support made a significant difference, and overall, they were exceptionally helpful throughout my stay.

Friendly staff. Great location. Walking distance to many attractions and easy access to Metro lines. Comfortable rooms. Very good value for money.

Breakfast was provided a short walk away at another hotel nearby. Not a criticism, just a minor inconvenience. The breakfast itself was very good. We were in a room that faced onto Gran Via. Great to look out on, but a little noisy. Again not a criticism as such. Just the reason I didn’t rank it higher for comfort.

The main advantage is the good location (the most famous Gran Vía street) and friendly English speaking staff on the reception. There are a lot of shops nearby, even a large 24/7 Carrefour. Internet via WiFi is stable and speed is 30-50Mbps. It was convenient that there were all the opportunities to fully prepare food.

The walls are too thin, there is no sound insulation, so you can hear what is happening in the corridor and neighboring rooms, as well as the terribly creaky doors. Not recommended for those who have very sensitive sleep or who like silence. But I read the reviews before and knew about it, it almost didn’t bother me. The placement of the TV is useless - you can't watch it from the bed, only sitting on a chair. The shower has a stupid faucet that makes it difficult to regulate the temperature.

The location is amazing, the staff is so helpful, friendly and conversational. They are also very patient with us who didn’t speak Spanish so well. One of them spoke Portuguese with us. The room and kitchen supplies are very clean, the bed is comfortable, it is freshly renovated it seems. The shower is spacious and very very nice. They store our luggage if we arrive before check in or if we leave on checkout but still want some time to explore the city throughout the day. Me and my mother felt very welcome and comfortable there.

The walls are a bit too thin and close to the neighbours. We might have heard a little bit more than we would have liked in one of the nights. The door to the bathroom could be smarter. It is a bit of a pain to go around it every time we want to open or close the door.

The location was absolutely perfect! We walked out of the hotel, and we were on top of restaurants, shops, train lines etc! Considering how close we were to the hussle and bussle, the rooms were quiet and comfortable. We were tempted to take the mattress home on the plane, it was that comfortable. The staff were absolutely incredible and so friendly! It was my partners birthday and they provided us with a complimentary voucher and provided us all the tips of where to visit!

The only downside is there is minimal disabled access. This only became an issue because I had an accident and required crutches, and it was difficult to get in and out of the reception area and into the lift.

Friendly and helpful staff. It was my birthday during my stay and I received a fruit platter which was thoughtful. I left some money so the reception team could treat themselves to an ice cream. I will be coming back next year. I have passed the Smart Rental details to my former colleagues in travel as a recommendation.

I requested a room near the elevator when I made the reservation due to my mobility issues but it was not fulfilled. The reception did try to see if they had any rooms available but it was not possible. It did not ruin my stay.

Great location on Gran Via, easy to walk everywhere. Staff were great & apartment had a comfortable bed and nearly everything we needed.

As others have commented you can hear people in neighbouring rooms but it wasn't late at night. I'm a light sleeper & it didn't bother me. Would have liked basics like oil, salt & pepper for use in the kitchen.

Great location, in the middle of "Gran Via" and in front of the "Santo Domingo" metro station Excellent staff, most of then speak English. They are always willing to help the guest in the best way possible. Great Breakfast

The room was a single bed The shower could be better, but is ok. The rooms photos might mislead those who don't understand the proposal of the accommodations.

We had an amazing stay, the beds were comfy and the location of the apartment was great. It was right in the center of gran via, and right at the front door you have the bus stop (you can take the 001 that takes you for free to most museums and sights)

We paid for a studio with a sofa bed and we only got a studio with a bed. The bathroom was a little bit hard to manage as it was really really small…

The apartment was in the centre, just walking out the main door you will feel the crowd going back and forth. This means that is very accessible and very close to the metro (Santo Domingo).

Quite old building, and our room was very small. When the sofa bed was opened you had no space to move.
