The 2 boys in the reception were very nice and helpful. We arrived in the morning and they made a room ready for us. They told us what to do in Colombo, booked a taxi to the airport. There is hot water and wifi.
Like often in cheaper hotels in big towns in Sri Lanka and India, there are no windows,. But the room had a good size so it was ok.

One thing going good for the hotel is its location. Its close proximity to Galle Face beach, Viharamahadevi park, and other tourist spots makes you consider as one of the options. Room is ok, try not to keep your expectations up.
When there is rainy weather, you do tend to see water droplets fall inside the premises. Luckily, none inside the room.

All staff are so nice and friendly, Specially Mr. Prasanna is very good and caring, he use to response immediately with his sweet smile and the main thing, he can speak multiple languages and it's very easy to move here and there, Hotel Nippon is situated in next road that you can go and eat there any time because it's 3 start hotel and it's not expensive also
In reality there is nothing to say bad about this hotel according to the budget

metro city hotel is near to atm bank we can go with in 2 minutes by walking,and faazlysh burger king walking distance with in 1 minute and good restaurant for indian aone cafe ,walking beach colombo with in 10 minutes ( other thing we want prassana given , if you want anything you need to ask him )
