Location was good (walking distance to Kungsgatan’s shops and Train station + grocery store on the same street and many restaurants near). We got late checkout +2 hours that we asked for. Breakfast was good. Loved the ”fluffy” bath towels & bathroom itself was modern. Had the ”small double room” which was enough for a newly wed couple.

The hotel is well-located, close to the underground (T-bana) one stop from Central station, and with a supermarket just opposite for any supplies you may need. Our room was in perfect condition and made up daily, and the breakfast buffet had lots of choice. The staff were unfailingly friendly and helpful.

About the only complaint I could make was the lack of air-conditioning in the rooms, which was unfortunate as the weather was quite hot, but this is pretty standard in Europe and we were not expecting it. The hotel is quite big and seemingly popular with coach parties, so breakfast can be quite busy at popular times.

This hotel was perfect for our stay in Stockholm. It is a little out of the way with not many restaurants nor other hotels in the vicinity - unless you knew where to look I suppose. It was much bigger and busier than expected but the room was very quiet. We never heard anyone in neighbouring rooms or in the corridor. The housekeeping staff were very nice. The breakfast was a superb spread with so much choice. We easily walked to the hotel from the station and also walked to and from the tourist spots. All in all our experience was very positive and we would recommend this hotel to friends and would return ourselves.

The first receptionist we encountered was not particularly welcoming or friendly at all which was disappointing as it was our initial experience with the hotel. When we returned later and were able to check in, a different receptionist was very pleasant. Despite ordering a packed breakfast and being assured it would be available at 5am, there wasn't one for us We were told then we should have ordered it the night before and not at check-in. However, a quick solution was found and we took away a packed breakfast so all ended well.

Facilities, like gym and a great breakfast! Location is also a plus : close to tram , train and walking distance (30 min walk ) to many attractions ( like the mayor house )

I asked to change the charged credit card and it was the first time in my life ( and I travel a lot às a doctor ) that such a thing happens , besides my attempt to talk to manager , which was denied !! The poor young má at the reception tried to be kind , it was not his fault. Totally unacceptable attitude with a costumer . Clarion never more !

The staff were excellent. The facilities were really good. The restaurant and breakfast area were clean, well stocked and the food was great. The breakfast was excellent; so much choice, fruit, salad, breads and crackers, meats, cheeses, yogurt, preserves, cereals, sausages, eggs, bacon, omelettes, teas, coffee, juices etc. The rooms were a good size to comfortable to move around and the beds were really comfortable. Air conditioning in the room worked very well to keep the room at a comfortable temperature. WiFi access was very good. The biggest surprise in Sweden was that the tap water was excellent quality, I hadn't realised until we got off the plane in Stockholm and their tap water is promoted at the airport. Sweden should be deservedly proud of their great quality water. I digress. The location of the hotel was great for us. We like to walk around and it was easy here. 15 mins walk to the main train, bus station and tram, under 30 mins walk to Gamla Stan. I would definitely stay here again. Thanks so much.

The breakfast was fantastic. The location was great. Only 10 mins to the main station and next door to a metro station. The breakfast and bar area is lovely.

The compact rooms were very small which is exactly what’s advertised, but the bed is up against the wall so it makes it hard for the person sleeping at the wall side to clamber over if the toilet is needed in the night. It wouldn’t put me off staying in these rooms again though. When it’s busy it can take a very long time to get a space in the lift. Luckily I was only on the 4th floor and I am fit enough to manage the stairs. Other than these very minor points, we loved our stay here.

Clean, spacious room and bathroom. Located a 10 minute walk from central station and the metro station is literally(!) next door. The breakfast had a lot of variety and was very good and healthy. Would definitely stay again when in Stockholm!

Everything was perfect - minor detail was the receptionist told us breakfast would be at 6:30 on our last morning before having to leave early. We went downstairs 6:30 sharp as we had to leave at 7, at checkout the receptionist told us breakfast would be at 7 because it was the day after a national holiday, but he could arrange breakfast packages. We had our coffee in the lobby and saw the breakfast opened at 6:40 already in stead of 7. Bit strange, but thanks for the package anyways - it’s appreciated :-)

Close to restaurants, buses, metro. Good breakfast.

Very busy at breakfast time. Ordered a taxi at reception to take us to Central Station which is only 1.2kms away but not easy with big bags. Reception told us to wait outside with the Booking chit she gave us said it would be around SEK150 Taxi pulled up - we should have been warned about cheats taxi pulled up discovered to late that he was not our pickup but made out he was. Car was dirty and smelly. Took a long way round cost SEK441 we should have argued with him but were taken by surprise up early and tired. A lesson learned happens everywhere. No coffee or tea making facility in the room.

Breakfast excellent Staff friendly and professional Rooms were great but they did not give tea and coffee kettle etc until I asked. They were never replenished each day. Had to ask. I was there for 6 nights. Didn’t clean room every day. Yet my family who were in another 2 rooms has there rooms cleaned each day. New towels and sheets and bed made.

Check the tea and coffee making facilities and they are replenished each day. The sauna should be opened during the day also

Something special. Extremely old building. Excellent view from the balcony! Located 1 minute away from Nobel Prize Museum, yet only 3 minutes from the next subway station. Many things have been lovingly prepared and adapted. Solid Wi-Fi.

You have to like staying at such an old building. No elevator, so staying at the top means climbing a lot of narrow stairs. For the same reasons the ceillings in most rooms are very low. (could be a serious problem above 6.2 feet). There is some noise until late evening coming from the tourists on the streets, but during the nights it was mostly quiet. We were adviced to save hot water, but one filling of the bathtub was no problem, if you need a lot of long showers this could change.
