Location: Very easy to get from Arlanda Airport to Freys. [you just take the Arlanda Express, which is one level down with the elevator, in the airport]. It gets you to Stockholm Central Station and from there, 2 minutes walking and Freys Hotel is just there. Surroundings: The hotel is close to the center, old town etc. Few minutes away walking even for people who don't like walking that much. Royal Palace is a must seen , Paradox Museum HIGHLY RECOMMENDed!, Aifur/Viking restaurant - nice vibes, affordable prices, funny introduction to people arriving there. TIPS: Try and book it as soon as you arrive as it's always full! Last but not least: Stockholm panoramic view ❤ to see the old town from above - easy to get, not too steep. Rooms: cozy, antique vibes, it was a bit cold but the blankets are good to keep you warm. Breakfast: Deliciiiiooooouuuuusss!!!! Everything you would like to eat in the morning. Customer Service: Exceptional!! We missed choosing a double room and had a twin room instead (we are a couple). However, I told them before arriving the mistake and we were welcomed with a topper mattress to have the double bed we wanted! <3

This gem of an historic hotel made for a delightful stay in the beautiful city of Stockholm. Just steps away from the Arlanda Express, we had smooth connections to and from the airport, and the hotel's location was perfect for sightseeing. The room was spacious, clean, and even had a small kitchenette! Breakfast was outstanding, and the restaurant featuring Belgian cuisine and craft beers was the perfect place to unwind after a full day of exploring the sights. Many thanks to the very helpful staff for a lovely visit to a beautiful country!

The front desk staff were very helpful and friendly. They even allowed us to check in much earlier than usual. We really liked the breakfast buffet as it offered a lot of variety of local (i.e. Swedish cinnamon rolls and smoked herring) and standard options (eggs, fruit, cereals and many bread options). They were also thoughtful about people with food allergies. I liked the complementary espresso in the suite-level room.

The gym was a bit difficult to access in the basement. A special code is required to access it. That said, it had a great selection of weights, two cardio machines and a pleasing yoga space.

The hotel location to the Arlanda Express was great, literally a 2 minute walk. The hotel was lovely and the staff were all very friendly. Room was spacious and clean with everything we needed (even down to a microwave which we didn't use). The restaurant attached to the hotel gets extremely busy in the evenings so you need to book but the food was delicious. The included breakfast was very good - buffet style with something for everyone. Hotel was within walking distance of everywhere we wanted to visit - Vasa Museum, Abba Museum, the Royal Palace and Nybroplan - we did also use the tram which was only a 5 minute walk away.

Only thing we did notice was that there was no decaf coffee in the room and none available at the reception. Not a huge problem but maybe something for the hotel to think about having available.

The reception staff at Freys Hotel are the friendliest and most helpful I have ever encountered. I had a time-consuming problem that Siri patiently helped me with, and I am most grateful. All the staff are genuinely caring, friendly and helpful. The room was exceptionally quiet and the teddy bears in each room are a lovely homely touch. For a small fee you can buy the one in your room and a large part of the proceeds goes to charity. The location is excellent, being a 5-minute walk from the railway station and it is very easy to find as it is sign-posted right outside the railway station. Breakfast was included in the price and has a wide selection of healthy food as well as vegetarian/vegan options. The room included a kitchen sink with a Nespresso machine, a microwave and a small fridge. The hotel is a short 20-minute walk to Gamla Stan. There are many shops and restaurants in Drottninggatan which is a 3-minute walk from the hotel. Freys Hotel is close to the elegant architectural buildings and upmarket shopping in Birger Jarlsgatan. I had planned to stay 3 nights but a cancelled flight from Australia cut short my stay to only 2 nights. I would love to visit Stockholm again and will definitely return to Freys Hotel.

Very good location Room size and comfort Quiet Breakfast was very good except…

… orange juice and juices in general were very poor, even difficult to drink. .,with everything else perfect, juices are always a problem in hôtels and make the real differences when good. We had only 1key which makes it a bit difficult to use the lift/room when we were not together. The restaurant in the hotel is not value for money. The food is not great. ( cocktails are good and not that expensive though!)

The location was great - just a short walk from the central station and the express train to the airport, plus to one of the hop-on, hop-off bus stops and many restaurants, shops, and cafés! It was really nice to have a balcony to enjoy those rare moments of sunshine, too. The staff were wonderful, and breakfast was very varied and sustainable. The bed was big and comfortable and there were tea and coffee making facilities as well. I especially loved the teddies for charity initiative - it was so original and sweet! Overall, would totally recommend!

The lighting during breakfast was pretty dim. The outlets next to the bed, which would have been convenient for charging your phone, were blocked by the bedside tables.

Two things. The shower was very small and a bit uncomfortable. It seems like a shower was added to a toilet, and they were smart about installing doors that move. The breakfast was good, but it is given in a restaurant that is more like a bar. Therefore, the place is dark and it smelled funny in certain areas where the food was served. I think it’s the cleaning products or mops.

The hotel contacted me a few days before our stay to let us know that there had been a mistake with our booking. So they offered us to stay in a standard double room on the first night and then upgraded us to the suite on the second night. All the staff we encountered were nice and helpful, and it was such a treat to be upgraded. But am very happy to say that the standard double was just as comfortable as the suite in terms of bed, amenities, etc.

The one time we attempted to order room service it wasn't available, but that was quickly fixed with a trip to MAX just across the street. Other than that everything was great!

Great location, close to Centralen and Arlanda Express, great front desk customer service, good breakfast, comfortable beds. They also did extra touches, such as adding a welcome sign which incorporated multiple Taylor Swift song names in its message, which was a great start to our Taylor Swift weekend. The front desk people were very helpful and cheerful. Restaurant was great for breakfast and had a nice outside patio that was always full with people drinking beers and having a nice time during happy hour. The decor was really nice and unique. Elevator showed old-time photos of Freys, which added ambience. The hotel had character, wasn't just a cookie-cutter chain.

Menu at restaurant is mostfly seafood, which we are allergic to. Shower temperature was not great for me, but was good for my daughter. Price was high for us, but we were there during Taylor Swift weekend, and all prices were surging that weekend, so its understandable.
