Good location, nice staff, great breakfast! Very comfortable bed and clean room.

My room was located in the basement and the room was not "sound proof". I could hear people using the bathroom in the room above me as well as walking around. So be aware of this if your room is located in the basement.

Scandic 53 is within 15 mins walk from Central station. It is well positioned within the CBD shopping district. Flybus or Flexibus from Airport Terminal 4 to Central is frequent and bus ticket can be purchased online. A lot cheaper than Alanda Express and took 40 mins. Bonus scrumptious breakfast is included. Room is basic and surprisingly no kettle, coffee or tea. The window overlook the central yard and neigbouring window.

No hot water for tea and coffee in the room. However, they are available on the ground floor cafeteria.

This hotel is perfectly located, just about 5 minutes walk from both the main train station (where the Arlanda Express to the airport is) and the T-Centralen with busses and metro. It's also just a few minutes walk from the main shopping street, and in walking distance of the ferries to explore the city's islands. Our room was very clean, with a very nice bathroom, as well as quiet and comfortable. The hotel staff was really helpful and friendly, and the breakfast buffet is outstanding! There is even a nice courtyard with a terrace where we could enjoy breakfast in the sun. We will definitely come back!

Location is very central, both for walking to the old town and the local shopping area. Many places in walking distance to eat and drink. Breakfast was amazing - every taste catered for. The room was fine - we upgraded to a room with a window, it would have been nice if the window could open for ventilation. Staff were super friendly, making this a great but also chill place to stay.

Nothing, really. As said, couldn't open window, but room very comfortable. We were in a "wet room" bathroom so it was hard to keep water from splashing out of the shower.

Location was great! Walkable to so many different places - It was also very close to well known bakery/kafe, Vete Katten. The room was small (what we booked) but it did the job! The included breakfast was incredible! So many different options, they just asked that you booked your time for breakfast at least the night before. Staff was very friendly and decor was nice and inviting.

Due to the small / tight room, just wish there were a few more ledges / hooks to put things on that you needed quickly without having to dig around in your bag or lose them. And a ledge/shelf in the shower would’ve been very helpful. Otherwise it was great!

In my opinion, the most outstanding feature of the facility was its helpful and solution-oriented staff. This is, in fact, what truly matters. Problems can always arise, but what’s important is how you approach them. I would like to sincerely thank the lady who supported us during check-in and the following processes (unfortunately, I didn’t get her name).

Since we have a 5-month-old baby, it would have been nice to be checked into the hotel a bit earlier. However, I can’t blame them as they checked us in at the stated time of 4 PM. The rooms are relatively small and there is no direct heating system.

The breakfast was amazing — a wide variety of dishes and everything was absolutely delicious, including traditional Swedish food. The location is very convenient — on a quiet street, but just around the corner is where all the action begins. It was peaceful at night, and the soundproofing was excellent. We felt very comfortable and at ease. I would also like to highlight the wonderful care and attentiveness of the staff.

You definitely need to do something about the plumbing – I had to spend a significant amount of time adjusting the shower temperature, and once it was finally set, I couldn’t touch the tap without risking throwing off the delicate balance, where even a one-degree turn could shift the water from freezing cold to boiling hot. Also, in daylight, I noticed concerning stains all over the carpeted floor. I believe they are old and can no longer be removed with regular vacuuming. However, in my opinion, if you're going to have carpeting, it should be clean — otherwise, it should be removed.

Breakfast was absolutely brilliant and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The bar was nice, with a cute outside area. Fab location in Norrmalm and very close (few mins walk) to the central station.

Room was rather small and our bed sheets were not replaced on the day that our room was cleaned (new towels etc. but not the bed); the plug sockets on the left hand side of the bed did not work properly; one of the TV channels didn't work which was slightly annoying. All minor things which didn't really impact on our stay!

Everything is perfect. Perfect location perfect place. Breakfast is decent and can manage.

I should say as a complain, just voicing my thoughts, booking a time slot for breakfast prior one day can be bit tricky. We don’t have the habit to book it everyday and usually hotels don’t have this. So one can forget very easily esp when u r in vacation. I slightly felt as an added additional task to do this. May be it’s just me coz I literally never booked a slot timeframe for breakfast one day before. And I actually forgot to book as well for the second or third day… lol. I know from the hotel side it’s easier so that it doesn’t get cluttered at once with lot of incoming crowd. Anyways!!

Great hotel in a very nice location - around 10 minutes by walk from the train station. We stayed only for one night and booked the room with no window. It was unusual to have no window, but in the end the room was very comfortable for that short stay. It was also very quiet in the room. The breakfast was incredible with so many different options.

It was very cold in the room and we had not really an option to change that - we did move the knob to move the temperature up, but it did not work. We woke up freezing in the morning. The room could use a desk.
