We loved our stay at Haymarket hotel. The location is great for exploring Stockholm and is close to the central train and coach station for easy connection to the airport and for travelling to Gotland where we went next. Very close to a metro stop too. The art deco style decor of the hotel is beautiful, the breakfast selection was very good and the staff helpful and courteous. It didn't feel expensive for central Stockholm either. Easy to recommend.

Nothing to do with the hotel itself but the concert house across the square is currently under renovation which somewhat spoiled the view from our room which would have been perfect otherwise

The staff was kind, welcoming, accommodating and always smiling. The breakfast spread was amazing. The location was perfect for sightseeing - 8 minutes from the train station and the Arlanda express, you could basically walk to any of the main attractions in the city. Beds were very comfortable, rooms spacious and decorated in a lovely art deco style.

The fabric on the bed had a few of what appeared to be blood stains, so I let reception know - they were apologetic and quickly moved me to another room. The room was overall clean but a bit dusty, which I find to be quite common though when staying in Swedish hotels for some reason. I had breakfast quite early (8-8:30 on a weekend) and the area was already starting to get quite crowded, so booking a table would be recommendable in my opinion. The hairdryer was one of those tiny ones. I spent hours drying my long hair - please consider having more powerful ones in a hotel of this caliber and price point.

Great location. Just a few minutes to the T-Centralen station. Local market right in front of the hotel. Cleanliness of the room was okay-ish.

We wish the room would've had more amenities, for example tissues and cotton swabs. Bathroom was large but needs more space to put down things. Placement of the towel holders is in the shower, which is a questionable choice. Bed's and pillows are terribly soft. I had neck pain after sleeping in the bed for a week.

Really nice décor, very quiet room and almost no noise from outside or other rooms. Very good breakfast and perfect location. Lovely and helpful staff.

Only small bits: Both shower and basin drains were clogged but we could live with it. We had a slight issue with our last day's breakfast as we booked at 6.30 through the online booking system due to our flight out, got to the breakfast area only to find out that the buffet opened at 7 on that day. Although the system let us book at 6.30. The manager was anyway very kind and let us have take away bags as well as a cup of coffee.

Thank God, we found this place! It was great. Really central location with numerous shops and restaurants just within the surrounding blocks itself. St. Clara's Church is just 7 minutes walk by foot. Even the Abba museum which is 40 minutes away by foot is a very pleasant walk - full of beautiful views along the way. There is also a great Indian restaurant (The South Indian) about 12 minutes walk as well as two supermarkets (Coop and Lidl) just near by the restaurant. The Central Station is also about 10 minutes away by foot. The staff were also super helpful and efficient. We really appreciated that. Shout out to Juan, Neo, Isabelle and the many others.

A chic hotel with lots of character and in a great location. The room was very comfortable. It was a bit noisy because of its location on the square, but it was so easy to reach the rail station from there and it was about a 20-min walk to the lovely old town. Noise was not an issue at night, as the temperature was cool enough, even in July, to close the windows. I recommend this hotel! The breakfast was a bit pricey, but was delicious and had great variety!!!

The communication between reception and the breakfast crew at the restaurant could be improved. It wasn't clear that the staff knew that we'd reserved breakfast twice with the front desk.

Not enough surface and no drawers in the room for putting out your stuff. Public rooms are really street bars so feel like you can only go there and drink with non-hotel guests rather than just lounge about when not in your room. We had a breakfast bag for our departure day because we were leaving early in the morning, which was paltry by any standards and certainly compared with the wonderful breakfast available normally. Not a big deal but a shame to send guests on their way with a bad show.

Location couldn't be any better, walking distance from the railway station and to shopping, restaurants, subway, tram. Receptionist was very helpful. I had booked a larger room with a view, and although the room itself was quite nice, window was smallish and the view across the street directly to an office. I immediately went to ask for a change, and we got a smaller room, but the large window was towards Hötorget. Very happy with it! Lovely atmosphere overall, from the decor to the live jazz in the lounge.

Price was quite high, especially when we were not flexible with our dates.

Room was restful and well laid out. We had lots of windows and could open a tad to ventilate which was great. Bathroom with a shower not a full bathroom but perfect for a few days. Breakfast choices were good we all found something we liked. The location is perfect for the train station and also lots of restaurants and shops nearby, we will return to this hotel, comfortable and central.

We were travelling as a family and requested rooms nearby each other but we were on different floors to our children not ideal should they have been younger. The carpet in the common areas could do with upgrading.

The hotel is set in a beautiful Art Deco building from 1916, and the interior design wonderfully reflects this era. Our room maintained a high standard, featuring a comfortable bed and a bathroom with a heated floor. The bathroom also comes with refillable toiletries including body lotion, shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner. The room had air conditioning, but we appreciated that the window could also be opened for fresh air. A tea kettle was available in the room. The breakfast buffet was fantastic, offering many choices including a waffle maker, sparkling wine, and fresh juice. A booking slot is required to manage space, which worked well. The staff were friendly and attentive throughout our stay. There is a bar on site that offers innovative cocktails, perfect for relaxing in the evening. Luggage storage is available, which was very convenient for us. We used the express check-out option since our bill was settled at check-in, making our departure smooth and quick. The location is excellent, just a 10-minute walk from the main station where the Arlanda Express arrives from the airport. The old town is also a 10-minute walk away, with all major attractions being easily walkable yet the area remains fairly quiet.

Our room was pretty small, so those bringing a lot of luggage should consider booking a larger room. The building is quite large, so the walk from the elevator to our room was a bit long. Those having issues with walking should ask for a room close to the elevator.
