Great little hotel right in the centre of stockholm. My room was on the ground floor, facing into the courtyard. The building is an old building, which has been adapted into a hotel/guest house. In fairness to some of the other reviews, yest the rooms are "small" - (albeit mine was very tall), and I suspect the basement room have smaller windows - however this all needs to be in context. This is n incredible value for money hotel, right in the heart of Stockholm, 5-10 minutes from most of the centre, 10 from the main railways station, 15-20 minutes walk from the royal palace. Yes the room are smaller, and "nookier" than some of the more main stream hotels, but then this is (or was when I booked) 50% to 60% cheaper than the others. If you want a large hotel room with city views and room to do your morning exercises in. etc, go and pay 2,3/4x as much somewhere else. This hotel is not claiming to be any of these things, it is a valeu for money hotel, with central location, in a characteristic old building with its own internal courtyard and great breakfast, which exudes character. I'd definitaly come again, when in stockholm. I stayed in May, so can't vouch for the air con or heating as frankly neither were needed when I was here.

Small compact room typical of Europe but clean and comfortable. The breakfast provided was excellent and with a good selection of hot and cold food. Excellent location for bars and restaurants, quite a few are close by. Only one street over from the Drottninggaten walking street/ Pedestrian mall which is 1.5 klm long and full of shops, bars and Restaurants.

My only issue is a kettle was provided along with coffee making facilities but the plug was high on the wall and the cord from the kettle couldn’t reach it. Easy fix I just grabbed the rubbish bin (it had a lid) and put it on the table and the kettle on top of that so all worked out in the end.

The location was great! Breakfast was awesome, a lot of variety and the staff kept refilling everything all the time. During my stay the receptionist and the housekeeping ladies were lovely, sorry I didn't get their name. Room was big enough for myself.

Every morning I woke up before 8AM because of the noise coming from upstairs. There was one male receptionist that made me feel like I was annoying him every time I ask something. It was my very first impression when I got to the hotel. Luckily, he was the only one that gave me that impression, the other receptionist as well as the breakfast an housekeeping staff were absolutely lovely!

We had a very pleasant experience with the hotel. Everyone we encountered from the personnel was very nice and helpful. Breakfast was top notch, lots of options, everything super fresh and delicious. Our room was clean, warm and cozy. Absolutely helpful the fact the we had an electric kettle in our room because we usually drink a lot of tea (they also had free tea available by the reception). Bathroom was clean, nice shower and water temperature. We were there by the winter, so we didn't get the chance to stay in the outside lounge, but it sure looked like a cozy place to hang out.

If I had to complain about anything it would be about the curtain in our room, its hooks were kind of broken and they didn't hang on the rail all the way through the window. But that didn't bother us at all, the window had a view to a quiet street and it was dark enough. Anyway, nice place, nice room and nice people. Would definitely be back.

The location was good, as was the breakfast offering. The room was a good size, though we had upgraded the room when we noticed the original size was about 90 sq.ft. (which is very small). Bathroom was on the small side, but the beds were comfortable enough and the linen crisp and clean. The room could be described as a bit tatty.

Score marked down for facilities, as although a kettle was provided, and 4 instant coffee sachets, there was nothing else; no tea, no milk/creamer, no sugar, not even any cups or mugs. Couldn't really see the point of the kettle

The included breakfast was very nice. Also the location is perfect, few minutes walking distance from metro station and 10 minutes walking distance from Arlanda Express. The pleace was clean, and the staff was very helpfull.

The bathroom was very small, and the glass sliding door was terrible, no privacy at all. With the toilet facing the door it was terrible. That was the only negative point, other than that everything were nice.

Location is really good, walking distance to the old city and Central station, close to some shops. The bed was perfect, quite soft and warm. I like it! My room was ordinary (double) but enough of the light, warm and clean. Breakfast is served with amazing bread, some vegetables, meatballs, omelette, yogurts, corn flakes, cheese, salami and etc. Also some Swedish food like pate, pickles, Kalles caviar. Only one thing there is no elevator.

Staff was very helpful and friendly. Bed was comfortable; breakfast had nice variety of offerings. Location was ok relative to walking distance to main train station; interesting walk to Old Town. There were many good, convenient restaurants along this walk.

Room, especially the rug, did not seem clean (older rug?). Having no elevator was a bit taxing after a long day of walking. No full shower door is uncomfortable as water splashes all over the floor which we then need to address with our towels. Small sink.

Clean room, good breakfast variety, helpful and friendly staff, perfect location for us watching our son in the stockholm marathon that weekend. Very close to main town centre, shops and not too far from old town which was full of character.

Coffee facility in the room very limited, no tea bags, sugar or milk until we asked. Using the shower in our room, water went all over bathroom floor but didn't drain back to the shower..we had to use a towel to push the water back to the plug hole! Woken up on Monday morning at 6.30am with builders on building opposite.

I booked an economy room, so as I expected it was basic but fine. Good price-quality ratio. The room was clean, staff was friendly, check-in instructions clear, and it was close to the railway station. Bed was fine for me.

Some small improvements can be made. The shower: it was difficult for me to get the water to turn warm. I turned the knob back and forth but it felt like cracking a code as there was no blue/red or number of degrees on the knob. And the whole bathroom floor became wet in the meanwhile :) Maybe some instructions and a threshold? Breakfast was fine but could be improved with for example some fresh fruit (or did I miss that), a coffee beans machine (instead of filter). But on a budget this was fine and happy to have had breakfast in the first place. Croissants and marmelade were tasty.
