It was absolutely beyond our expectations. After reading negative reviews from the month prior to our arrival, we even considered canceling our reservation. However, we ultimately decided to give it a chance, largely due to the fact that it is part of the Diplomat Collection, as well as the reassuring communication we had with the front desk prior to our arrival. And we are so glad we didn’t cancel! First and foremost, the rooms and bathrooms were impeccably clean, and the bed and pillows were exceptionally comfortable. The smallest room is indeed quite compact, but for a few nights, it is still perfectly manageable. The location is fantastic—just one street away from the main shopping avenue, and if you walk straight ahead, you’ll find yourself in Gamla Stan. We also made use of the spa facilities and had a massage, both of which were excellent. The breakfast selection was very good; adding a Prosecco or Cava option would have made it even more delightful. With the exception of a few breakfast staff members, every member of the hotel team we interacted with was exceptionally friendly, helpful, and welcoming. A special mention to the front desk team—upon check-in, we realized we had left our wallet in the Uber, and they handled the situation with great understanding, allowing us to settle the payment upon check-out. The hotel’s restaurant seemed quite popular for dinner, as it was fully booked most evenings. While we didn’t get a chance to try it, it looked promising. Overall, we left extremely satisfied and would love to stay here again!

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel, and it will definitely be our go-to choice for future visits to Stockholm. The breakfast was excellent, and dinner was equally exceptional. However, the wine was quite overpriced. The sauna is a great facility, but it requires advance booking and key collection from reception. Overall, the hotel has a cosy and chic vibe, which adds to its charm.

The hotel is relatively new, being just 4 months old, so there’s still room for improvement. Initially, we were given a room that hadn’t been cleaned after the previous guest checked out, but the team quickly upgraded us to a slightly larger room as part of the recovery. We suggested adding paper tissues in the gym for wiping down equipment after use, but unfortunately, nothing had been provided even after two days. Additionally, the sauna was out of order one morning, though thankfully, the infrared room was still operational.

A modern and comfortable hotel located in the heart of the city. The noise isolation is excellent, ensuring a peaceful stay, and the room is equipped with all the essentials, including a Marshall Bluetooth speaker for added convenience and style. The breakfast was truly outstanding, offering a variety and quality that felt on par with a top restaurant.

Some staff members provided incorrect and conflicting information regarding the pricing of the spa, which affected my experience. Unfortunately, I couldn't fully enjoy the spa amenities as I had anticipated.

Great stylish hotel with fabulous amenities and very friendly and personable staff. Special mention for Anna who initially welcomed us when we arrived. The hotel also give you a note sheet on recommendations from the locals on where to visit/eat/shop/drink etc. a really nice touch and great recommendation.

Nothing! It was all fab. Perhaps just update the wine list to not only have Italian wines (the Portugueses white was lovely at the sister hotel, Villa Dagmar)

The room and bed was really comfortable. Room was really clean. The hotels staff and bar was excellent. They were really nice to us and during our stay we had many cocktails and all of the cocktails were perfect.

One thing i didnt like was on the top floor (7th) you can not open a window. Maybe it could be optional to open the window.

Breakfast was unfortunately very uncoordinated. When we came down (to our pre booked slot) there was no bread or butter for 10 min. All plates were 10-15% full and as soon as they were filled up (which the personnel worked hard to do, but they seemed structurally too few) people came and took and the food was gone. We got our food eventually but in several rounds and it took a lot of time. Couldn't order coffe. People were frustrated. I have sympathy for the personnel.

Location, breakfast, room size, quality of the bed - they were all perfect. I loved that the room had a great view to the park and Strindberg. I wish staying there again when in Stockholm.

Tiny little thing, but the automatic shade was a bit annoying. I wanted to enjoy the sunshine of the the last sunny days, but the shade just blocked me out. Would it be possible to have a switch to override the AI behind the shade?

BREAKFAST IS A NIGHTMARE! you need to sort breakfast, chaotic, zero table service for coffee or hot drinks, food and cutlery placed randomly around the place. I ate eggs and bacon out of a cereal bowl with a spoon!!!! Too many tables too tighly fitted together I had to go to the bar to ask for a cappuccino and was directed to the coffee machine Breakfast is not a good experience

Very nice hotel, modern and tasty.. breakfast was good, not the regular hotel breakfast but feels more home making. Room was ok, bed super cosy same as pillows.

I do not love basement rooms, you feel like in a bunker, however there is the possibility to have rooms upstairs with windows. Breakfast timing could be slightly later, I/o closing at 10, I’ll suggest 10:30. I was there for business and usually I have meetings around 11;30 so it was slightly complicated for me.

I liked everything, including breakfast, room, and location. In that regard, I don`t have any recommendations. Definitely, the hotel is ESG-compliant because even a Hotel Key Card was made of wood material ;) I would like to give special thanks to miss Solveig who was extremely kind and assist me with everything that I asked for. She even ordered me coffee for the next quite early morning check out at 3:30 AM, that was highly appreciated by my side :)
