The accommodation is located in a fairly convenient location. From the airport we chose the flix bus which was the most economical option and walked around 10 minutes from the bus stop to the hotel. For the city tour we used the metro which is 5 minutes on foot from the hotel. We liked the hotel a lot, it had all the amenities we needed. It was warm and clean. It also had a rich breakfast buffet. The employees at the reception were polite and very helpful. The only negative was that the water was running out of the shower and it is dangerous.The hotel should fix the shower seal so that the water does not run out.

The hotel is very clean and value for money. The staff are also very friendly and happy to share tips of getting around Stockholm. Breakfast varied, a bit of everything, and the fact that it starts at 6.30am is very good - at least it was for us, who like to start off the day quite early!

The bathrooms are quite small especially the shower. Likewise the breakfast room it can get busy very quickly and once we had to share the table with other persons due to space. The Hotel is around 20/30mins away from city centre on foot. Whilst no problem walking in during the day, there aren't any restaurants around for an evening dinner. But otherwise nothing to complain about the Hotel itself.

This was my second stay here. The location is great, next to the metro station, with a lot of shops and restaurants in the neighbourhood - this is the main reason to stay here. I arrived a bit earlier and the room was ready which was nice. I never managed to have breakfast as I had to leave earlier on both days, but they prepared a packed breakfast for me on one day, (on the other there was no one at the reception in the hotel opposite where I was supposed to get it, so I am not sure whether it was there waiting for me or not).

The bed was a bit uncomfy but ok for a couple of nights. A small double room is really small and it has a tiny bathroom. It is a bit expensive, considering the size.

The hotel was very nice, as were the staff. Excellent breakfast - fresh breads, knäckebröd, cheeses, fruit, yoghurt, tea, coffee, hot food (crispy bacon, mini köttbullar, scrambled eggs). Very close to Rådmanagatan station - but just 15mins by foot to Sergels Torg. Other guests were mostly Swedes, but also Danish, German, Irish, Australian and Scottish.

There were parts of my room that hadn't been cleaned for a while - the top of the wardrobe, air vent, bathroom door frame etc. I'm tall, so I can see these things. I gave these a wipe myself with disinfectant. Overall however, it's a really nice hotel, and I will be back.

The hotel staff was very helpful ,they answered all my questions about moving around the city. They helped me too by giving me a heater cause the room was really cold. The room was very clean

The room was very cold ,I had to use a heater from the reception. Bed was not that comfortable. It was just a thin mattress, and there was no socket near it . The TV was also located on a wall where I could not watch it from the bed. I was ok to stay in this room since all I care about is a perfectly cleaned room and helpful staff( proper temperature too but this problem was solved), but I understand that these might be issues for someone

The breakfast was very nice with a big selection. The staff were very nice, friendly, and helpful. The hotel had a nice atmosphere too. The beds were very comfortable and the shower very nice too. Nice big windows to keep the rooms airy.

Our room was quite small and there was not a space to sit, only a desk with 1 chair and a stool (room for two) There are no tea/coffee facilities in the room - there are some downstairs. The location is a little far from the tourist areas - 20 minutes walk - which was fine for us. It is right next to a metro station to get into the centre quicker. Also very close to a bus straight to the Vasa Museum!

Breakfast was nice; the rooms were clean and well-lit, and the bed was comfortable; the staff were always friendly and helpful, and housekeeping were quick and quiet. The location is perfect for anything in the city, right by a metro station and places to eat/shop.

The food options at breakfast were a little limited. The steps up the hotel were steep, unfriendly for anyone who struggles walking; and the room was slightly smaller than I'd expected, with only just enough space for my partner and I plus luggage. The bathroom was also a little cramped.

The hotel is located 3 minutes from the metro station and in a walking distance from the city center. The breakfast is rich and includes local products for example meatballs and cinnamon rolls. The cleaning service comes every day. The stuff knows English and his helpful. Also there is a coffee machine you can drink coffee during all the day from the hotel. The beds are very comfortable. It is a great choice to live in. There is a library, a park, McDonald's, a lidl supermarket, all near to the hotel 3 minutes walking

The only drawback for us was the shape of the room. When you from the booking that the room would be small but this was not actually the accurate description. It's actually a very sort room because it is in the attic of the building. You can move with difficulty nside the room and you have to be very careful in order not to hurt yourself. I think that these conditions must be more clearer to the possible client to know exactly what will have in the hotel. If we knew that the room would be short and not small as described we would be booking a different type of room.

The breakfast was superb, with a wide variety of food. The location was excellent, being very close to the old town while also having a close shopping district. The metro stop is just around the corner. The room was very quiet, and the level of cleanliness very high.

A positive suggestion for improvement would be more communication with guests by the staff. Also the booking at an early stage not managing to secure a double bed, which was however provided following a request made on the second day of our stay, was a negative point.

The Rex Hotel presents itself as a charming and intimate retreat, conveniently located just a leisurely stroll away from the vibrant heart of Stockholm. While the accommodations may be on the cozier side, this aspect is clearly communicated, allowing guests to embrace the snug atmosphere. The breakfast offerings are truly delightful, featuring an impressive array of both hot and cold dishes that cater to diverse palates. Additionally, the hotel graciously provides complimentary tea and coffee throughout the day at the reception, ensuring that guests can indulge in a warm beverage at their leisure. Without a doubt, I would choose to return to the Rex Hotel for another enchanting stay.
