Breakfast and dinner were both great. The dining staff were friendly and accommodating. The room was good with plenty of room and a comfortable bed. While this hotel was out of the tourist area, public transport was good once you understand the system. It is only 10-15 mins from the old town of Bern.

A little more information about holiday/special event schedules for trams would be helpful.

I always enjoy this quaint and quiet hotel both for the location and the ambiance. Rooms are quiet and in the traditional Swiss style to help you feel right at home. Staff are welcoming and helpful. Complementary tram pass also great.

I booked using Booking.com which indicated breakfast would be complementary based on my points level with that service, but this did not happen. At the hotel, I therefore, had to purchase the breakfast extra. So this was a disappointment.

The room was very clean, the breakfast was very good, and most of the staff were nice. I also appreciated the free transport in Bern—and the coffee was very good too. :)

The lady at the reception seemed a bit lost. On the last day, when we wanted to pay for breakfast, she initially told us that the payment hadn’t been made in full and that we still owed for three more nights—despite the fact that I had already paid the full amount through Booking. I showed her the confirmation, and she realized the payment had indeed been completed. I found her to be unprepared and overwhelmed on more than one occasion, even when we were asking for simple things. Also, I think some of the staff could benefit from improving their English skills

We parked outside and walked around to locate the entrance. The check-in was simple and swift, and the room was great - shutters for overnight to keep out the light and curtains for privacy in the mornings. The reception and restaurant staff were very helpful. All of the anticipated facilities were provided (coffee machine but no coffee, though!) but apart from that, all we could want from a hotel.

The underground car park was a little tight getting into and out of (mind your wheels on exit!) and the spaces once in were small, however it was secure and clean and well ventilated, so did what was asked of it!

we appreciated that we could park our car in the garage, use free public transport to enjoy the city center and had a dinner at the garden restaurant of the hotel. the room was quiet and clean. The hotel inside is more functional than cosy. We had Wiener schnitzel and it was ok - it came quickly, reasonably priced and big portion. The breakfast was nothing special, but there was enough choice.

our part of the hotel was too grey - maybe some interior designer could thin about adding some features to add cosiness to the place.

Very friendly and attentive staff (Valentina at the morning buffet, Olivia waiting on us in the evening, Marianne Boren being extremely helpful at the reception desk - to name a few). A pleasant mainly residential area, with both shops on the one hand and cows and fields of sunflowers on the other, all in very easy walking distance.

It was a little noisy, partly due to neighbouring building work that had nothing to do with the hotel (and may well be over now)

Clean, quiet, onsite restaurant with tasty food (and amazing gelato!). Varied and filling breakfast. Fantastic, friendly staff. You also get a free travel card which takes you into Bern centre, which is 16 minutes on the bus. We stayed in the new block which has great air conditioning. Also, they have a variety of pillows for you to choose from, which was a nice touch. Overall an extremely relaxing hotel which made our holiday perfect. Very sad to leave, but can’t wait to return next year!

Nothing, everything was great.

The location is great, there is a metro stop directly in front of the hotel, which was very easy. The hotel has a very nice garden area to walk the dogs and the terrace bar was lovely.

We had a room with a terrace but it needs some shade or covering, at first it was too warm, then it was too rainy!

A great location near public transportation. Large rooms with fans and ear plugs. Friendly bilingual staff, German, French and English. Excellent hot breakfast buffet.

Can be noisy with windows open as the hotel is next to the bus and tram stop. Use the ear plugs.

Everything was really cozy and clean. Very well equipped room with many handy appliances and cutlery. Staff was really friendly too (we could easily borrow the socket adapter)! Very nice bonus is the public transport card that the hotel gives access to via an app (bus ride to the center of Bern was just 12 mins). Also, you won’t regret an evening walk through Muri itself. Supermarket is there just around the corner too.

Be careful with the narrow parking!
