It was so clean, and we were impressed with how well-appointed everything was, despite the small size. The facilities were modern. There was air-conditioning, thankfully for us Americans in a Swiss heat wave. It was not central air. Instead, it came from an upright tower in each bedroom. It worked just fine.

Be aware, this is not actually a hotel. It is a house in a neighborhood. The city bus drops you off and then you walk about 7 minutes into a neighborhood. The building is not well-marked. We had to look at the Google Street view to determine in the dark where we needed to go.

I had a wonderful stay at Da Maurizio Suites in Bern. The apartment was modern, clean, and well-equipped with everything I needed—from a fully stocked kitchen to a comfortable bed and a spotless bathroom. I really appreciated the quiet, residential location, yet it was still very easy to get into the city center by tram. The outdoor patio was a nice touch, perfect for relaxing in the evening. The staff was responsive and helpful throughout my stay. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and comfortable stay in Bern.

Location was good we could walk to old city and walk to near buy supermarkets. Good facilities for cooking.Outside area was pleasant.The area around the apartment very nice.We felt very safe.The process to enter the apartment was very easy. The courtesy phone at the door was appreciated.

There were 3 adults sharing the apartment so it was a bit tight space wise.It looked bigger on the pictures.Our adult granddaughter found her single be uncomfortable.

Although compact, the apartment had everything we needed ( except a washing machine, and there was no lounge area, but we were aware of this when we booked), and more. The owners had thought of pretty much everything to make the stay comfortable. The daily room servicing was an added touch. The apartment was located in a quiet neighbourhood but was in easy walking distance of regular trams into the city. The Bern pass that we were provided with meant that all trams and buses were free.

The location had a few limitations. The neighbourhood had limited options for eating out. There was a supermarket within walking distance for provisions and a small pizzeria. Taxi fares to and from the railway station were expensive.

Great location in a calm area, but at the same time relatively close to tram stations, 15 minutes by tram from the city center. The apartment was very comfortable and clean, the host was very communicative and flexible. I also appreciate the free ticket for local public transport.

The only thing that I did not like was the fact that I could not pay for the apartment immediately when booking. The host charged my card in the night when I could not authorize the payment, the payment was rejected by my bank, the card was blocked and I had to provide another card from the bank that used much higher charge related to exchange rates. So the price for me was almost 10% higher than the one I expected when booking.

Simple nice and clean, well appointed property with most everything you need for a short stay. Walking distance to the city and close to the tram stop with a free city transport pass provided.

Spare room is tight, good for smaller kids but a squeeze for adults, as always in Switzerland, additional fee for parking on the properties own land.

The apartment has everything one needs, it is spacious and the beds are quite comfortable. We cooked a couple of meals there. It is located in a quiet area but still very central. The owner was very accessible all the time, helpful and friendly. One can walk less than 10 min from the apartment and take several tram lines and buses to reach the city centre. The Klee Museum is at walking distances.

Perfect apartment with 2 rooms and dining. One bath room. Good location. You can reserve parking prior the stay. We had our parking taken by someone but the staff told found us an alternative solution minutes after a contacted them. Train and all public transport access with the stay. Remote check in. Very secure and safe place. I didn't see lifts in the building. Gladly I was staying in the ground floor which was easy to move the baggage. Two smart TV where you can watch YouTube. Good for the kids. Quite at night. Big master room.

Air conditioning was not as expected. It is the water cooling type not with split unit. We stayed during summer hot day and the machine can cool one room only. You can open the window as it is cool at night but we were at the ground floor so we were not sure about opening the windows at night. The kettle was dirty. It seems someone has prepared coffee in the kettle.

Located in a quiet suburban area with efficient free transport to the city centre. Self-catering facilities were good with large supermarkets about 10 minutes walk away.

The bedding was a bit on the warm side for a heatwave, but we can’t blame the property for the weather!

This is a very nice serviced apartment in a stand alone building in a more residential area outside of Bern. It is easily reachable from the train station by bus/tram and about a 8-10 min walk to the hotel from the transportation line. It is also easy to access the main stadium via direct bus to Wankdorf, about 10 minutes away. The room was spacious and comfortable with a complete kitchen and all the necessary furnishings for even a longer-term stay. If you are planning to eat there or have breakfast in the room, I would suggest bringing in food on arrival as I could not see any nearby restaurants or cafes or grocery stores (though there must be some in the vicinity). This was a self check in situation and I never came across any staff, except cleaning staff who directed me to my room. I have two minor complaints: if you require a dark room bring a sleep mask as while the room is dark enough with curtains, there is no curtain on the kitchen window (at least in the Claude suite) or door to the bedroom, so sunlight will stream in. And in my case, very noisy construction work began at 8:00 am right underneath my room prompting me to check out a little earlier than I had anticipated. Otherwise this is a lovely spot and a comfortable place to stay - very quiet and close enough to transportation to make it easy even without a car.
