Breakfast was simple but sufficient and good value for the price. Breakfast restaurant was homely and nicely decorated. I was alone, so had a single room and it had everything I needed. Hotel restaurant across the road was convenient. Right on the edge of the lake so it was a nice location.

I wish the powerpoint was closer to the bed so I had somewhere to plug in my phone next to me. Also wish there was more than one pillow, even if it's an extra in the closet. Had to ask for another, which they supplied, but I could tell it was an inconvenience as 'housekeeping had gone home'.

Excellent breakfast, if you come away from breakfast dissatisfied that's a 'you' problem!! The location is stunning and the part of the hotel we stayed in was across the road from the lake where you could spend hours in peaceful tranquility looking at the mountains and lake!! A great base for touring. Parking could be an issue during busy periods, however we had no issues while we were there.

i can only comment on our room which was chalet style. We are both tall and when stood upright we almost reach the ceiling...thats not a bother, however, we heard every small movement from the room above us. The rooms can get quite warm too... but not a deal breaker!!

We were 2 adults 2 kids in a family room which was so convenient with 4 beds in 2 separate rooms and a small living area. It was very spacious. Its is just on the lake, Beautiful views from the small balcony and windows. Breakfast was good. The staff was very helpful, they drove us with our luggage to the train station at check-in and check out.

No lift. They have stairs and we had to carry our luggage. The location is a bit far to walk from Brienz main station but closer to Brienz West station. But it was manageable as there is a bus and most trains from interlaken stop at brienz West.

A great hotel, very much in keeping with the area and the staff were so friendly and helpful. Breakfast at their restaurant opposite the hotel directly on the lake was a stunning setting. They offer a free hours use of their paddle boards daily which is great fun on the lake plus you can get discount on various attractions by showing your guest card. Would have no hesitation in staying here again if we return to Brienzerburli (and why wouldn’t we as it is such a beautiful place).

Only one slight niggle - the various breads at breakfast weren’t covered and there were flies on them every day so we never ate them.

Good location in front of the lake with excellent view. Quiet neighbourhood yet well connected. Good breakfast spread, lot of choice (eggs, ham, salami, cereal, cheese, and good coffee, helpful staff overall, especially the staff at reception. The room was warm and we asked for a fan which was promptly provided. Location was good, 10 mins from train and 15 min from bus or ferry terminals

The breakfast place always had some flies buzzing around, it will be good to try and get rid of them.

The entire experience was fantastic from check in to check out. The staff were so friendly and accommodating, even offering to drop us to the train station! We had the 2 bedroom room which had the best view I have ever seen from a hotel room, and was super spacious, comfortably fitting 4 of us in 2 very separate bedrooms with a foyer, living room and balcony. We wish we could have stayed longer and will absolutely be returning the next opportunity we get. Cannot thank the hotel enough for everything, they exceeded our expectations in every way. This is probably the best hotel experience I’ve had.

I am satisfied with everything in the hotel, starting with all the hotel staff without exception, they have an elegant and polite treatment and the speed of their completion, they show you all the tourist places you are looking for and transportation, the room is wonderful and it has a direct view of the river, it has all the necessary services it has a classic feel The breakfast is very good and there is enough space for all visitors. The hotel is 10 minutes walk from the main station The price is reasonable compared to other hotel

The location by Lake Brienz was fantastic, lovely view from almost all rooms. Restaurant on-site which was convenient. A short walk to Brienz West train station.

The sound of the clock tower was quite annoying as it chimes through the night - ask for a room away from it. Breakfast was average at best. When asked, staff told me there were no buses to the Brienz main station (which was not true) and they did not mention the Brienz West station nearby. I took expensive taxis until I figured out the information was not correct.

Very spacious room, quiet and tranquily vibes! Staff Noura whom attend me during my bfast, she such a very nice lady who always greet us every morning with a smile and coffee. Corny also been a very good lady in her duty as receptionist and as our driver. This hotel provide shuttle to Brienz which is really really good.

Lovely family hotel near the lake. We had a very spacious room with seating area and a view towards the village of Brienz and mountains. We had dinner in the restaurant which was great with generous portions at standard Swiss prices (for us Kiwis very expensive). Good shower, very comfy beds. Breakfast was good with lots of choice.
