- You can't ask for a better location than this one.. one night stay at iseltwalt is perfect to enjoy the amazing views of the mountains, lake and the pictoresque houses. - Staff extremely friendly and helpful, there was a snowstorm that lasted for 12 hours and they allowed us to do a late checkout without additional charge, really appreciate it. - Room small but very cozy with comfortables and clean beds - Very big balcony with an amazing view - Parking included 😀

There was really nothing standing out as bad at all but maybe one thing that might had improved the experience would be: - Some dinner options, snack bar or vending machine would help a lot as normally everything closes early and being encountered by heavy rain and snow during night, we couldn't find food anywhere bur we were very lucky that we bought some snacks in the supermarket, but without that, we would probably have slept that night without any food at all.

- Staff is amazing: really quiet people who make everything easier for you (check-in/check-out) - Breakfast is really good: high quality products - Breathtaking view: we couldn't get tired of the amazing lake view - Area: it's better to use a car, although you receive an Interlaken guest pass which allows you to use public transport to/from Interlaken - Cleanliness: everything was tidy and well taken care of - Room: interior design is great, glam cabin like

- The shower cabin has a curtain which we didn't necessarily enjoy - An insect shield would be really useful to keep the windows open (since there's no AC unit)

The hotel and it's location is absolutely stunning. I can't express how serene, calm amd captivating this hotel was. The inside was sooo cosy & welcoming from the minute you walked in. We had a family room which had loads of space, it even had a 4 person table and chairs inside. The room was decorated beautifully, immaculately clean & the free Netflix was a welcome bonus. I have to say the best part of this stay for us was at breakfast time, when not only do you get to meet the hotel owners/hosts who are so welcoming, polite and friendly, but you could eat your breakfast looking out onto the lake. The breakfast itself was superb. Fresh, delicious and with lots of choices. The hotel was also very dog friendly, they particularly made a fuss of our dog. Parking was free, plentiful and right outside (you also get given a free bus pass to use the local bus services which was very handy) and the hotel terrace was another lovely place to sit and take in the stunning scenary. I wouldnt hesitate to come back, it really was the highlight of our whole holiday.

Iseltwald itself is a beautiful little town, and the hotel is located near the end of the village at the lakeside. The location is absolutely beautiful and the private dock of the hotel made for great swimming/chilling! Breakfast was very varied and tasty. The parking spots of the hotel very convenient. The beds super comfortable. Our balcony with lakeview was the cherry on top.

Honestly only a minor thing, but good to mention for awareness: the hotel is typically Swiss with wooden structures and balconies etc. and this made we heard our upstairs neighbors walking around. Wouldn't call it noisy, but you're aware of the surrounding hotelrooms.

The staff were lovely and very accommodating to any little extras or questions we had. Bedroom was a little smaller than we had expected but we were 4 adults in a family room and we managed. Location was wonderful and within walking distance to the boat port and bus pickup. We had a rental car and this was useful to visit neighbouring Grindelwald and Interlaken as using the ferry boats for all these trips would have been very expensive. Not really many choices of places to go in the evening for a drink or meal if walking but the breakfast in the hotel was excellent and a huge choice - we loved it! I can highly recommend this hotel for value for money, comfort, cleanliness and location. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to friends.

A very minor issue but there wasn't enough toilet paper for a family room on arrival but this was quickly rectified. The bed was a little hard but that's just my preference and it wouldn't put me off staying again.

You won't believe how amazing the location is! The views are absolutely breathtaking and will leave you in awe. The hotel is kept spotless, and it's run by a wonderful family who truly knows how to make you feel welcomed. They're simply fantastic! The staff here are fantastic, the views are absolutely stunning, and everything is spotless!

I wish my room had some stunning mountain views! It would be amazing to have a balcony to enjoy the scenery. Also, it would be great if breakfast offered more choices, like baked beans and hash browns!

The location was lake side, in front of Brienz so the view was awesome! Should be the best location during spring or summer, but we came in during pre-winter, it was soooo cold. The breakfast had choices so it was okay. The rooms were comfortable.

No reception area, no staff after 4-5PM. You are on your own when checking in and checkin-out. We had to walk to the bus station at pitch dark due to early train ride. Communication with anything needed is via booking .com site only. If you're not used to self-service hotels then this is not for you. For the amount I paid, I fell there should at least be a person at the desk to help us for anything, not sure why there was none...

Iseltwald is a beautiful village and Bellevue has an amazing location right at the lake. It is just a few mins walk from the bus-stop and the ferry station. We took x 2 lake facing rooms with balcony for 2adults and 2kids (Kids loved it as it came with free netflix) The view is amazing and quite, away from all the city hustle bustle, one would look forward to waking up to that view. The breakfast had good spread compared to european standards. Staff and Service was also very good.

Rooms could have been slightly bigger, as if you have 2 medium or big bags it might get in the way. There was no elevator, so for heavy packed travellers like us may need to lift the bags to the room while check in and checkout

The location was fantastic! We had a large terrace overlooking the lake which was beautiful. The lake is extremely beautiful, and the village is peaceful. It is an excellent base for getting around to other places like Lauterbrunnen (waterfalls), Grindelwald, the Schilthorn, etc. There was a good selection of foods to choose from for breakfast and everything was fresh and delicious.

A full length mirror in the bedroom would be useful. The pillows were not comfortable.

Perfect for a quite break but easy to get into town with various transport links. The owners and staff were very friendly and helpful. We arrived very late after a long drive and our keys were waiting for us. Access to a large fridge was helpful too. And the breakfast was top much!

We couldn't get the WiFi working... but that meant we could switch off completely so didn't even mention it to the owners. We gazed at the stars, the scenery or read a book.
