Breakfast was very good. Simple but good. Location is so picturesque with lake Brienz just across the road. We even had a picnic by the lake. We assumed that all the rooms had walk-in showers. But we got rooms with bath tubs. The front desk told us that we should have requested much earlier and that they were full. All rooms are with a wonderful view be it the lake or mountain. Ours had balconies so that made it more special. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

We had to take a bus from the train station and sometimes the wait was long at the station bus stop. Having the bus app helps a lot when waiting for the bus at the hotel. There is a bus stop very very near the hotel.

The hotel is in a great location. It’s right across from the Bonigen Schlossi bus stop (buses come every hour), and only a 5-minute walk from the Bonigen See bus stop (buses come every 30 minutes). The pier for the Brienz boat cruise is just a 7-minute walk away. View: 100/100 If you can, choose a room with a lake view. It’s amazing! The turquoise lake looks beautiful from the balcony and makes you feel relaxed and happy. The breakfast buffet is simple but good. They had hot eggs, bread, muesli, fruits, nuts, cheese and a different cake every day. Meats served are not halal. The staff at breakfast were very friendly and helpful. They took great care of us. Lunch is not available. Dinner is a set menu with four courses for CHF 50 per person. You can also choose fewer courses for a lower price. You need to tell the staff by the afternoon if you want dinner. You can’t just walk in, and there’s no room service for food. You’re not allowed to eat in the room, but if you order food from Uber Eats or Just-Eat.ch, the staff will kindly let you eat in their restaurant. As long as its within reasonable hours, they will set you up with plates and cutlery in their charming vintage-style restaurant, with really nice wooden paneling and lovely décor. Rooms & Facilities: There are no double beds - just two single beds pushed together. But the beds are comfortable, with big soft pillows and warm, clean duvets. Housekeeping staff did a great job at cleaning our rooms everyday. Each floor has a small TV room with some board games, a hot water kettle and coffee maker. There are no kettles in the rooms. There’s a small play area in the backyard with a spring duck and a couple of swings. Near the reception, there are also some toys. My toddler had fun playing there, especially when it was raining or we couldn’t go out. It’s only a 5-minute bus ride to Jungfrau Park, which has a big play area for kids under 10. A fun place to visit with children!

The room was large with a balcony overlooking Lake Brienze. That was the highlight of the stay. Imagine waking up to a blueish green colour of the lake in the morning. The breakfast buffet offered was in the price and the staff was very friendly. Their ovomaltine spread and overnight oats/muesli was very tasty. We just borrowed some towels from the hotel and swam in Lake Brienze. I really envy the folks staying there. The hotel also offered an Interlaken guest card that provides discount for Harder Kulm and also free bus and train rides in the Interlaken area. There is plenty of parking in the hotel for which they charge 5 CHF/night

Very old rooms, no air-conditioning/ fans in the rooms as it was quite warm in June. Would have preferred to have a mini refrigerator or water kettle in the room so we can make formula water for our child. The keys of the room are old fashioned and have a heavy key chain weighing almost a Kg which is inconvenient to carry. We had 2 individual mattresses instead of a double bed which is a bit inconvenient for couples who are used to sleeping on the same bed.

The breakfast was the best I’ve had since I left on my trip. The view from the restaurant will take your breath away. I arrived several hours late past midnight and the staff was so helpful and so accommodating. I got the sweetest note with my room key welcoming me. If you want a big modern hotel that has every modern amenity and treats you coldly don’t stay here- but if you want to feel like you’re in someone’s home with a phenomenal view, delicious breakfast, and a staff that is filled with friendliness, warmth and loveliness—stay here always.

Everything was great

Loved everything about this place. The location stunning and close by to Interlaken. The comfort of our room and its cleanliness was great. The food was beautiful. The owners were so lovely, even making sure we had a packed lunch to take the day we were leaving as we had an early start and would miss breakfast. They were both so helpful and friendly as was the other staff working there. Highly recommend and I hope one day I get to go back. The view from our balcony was like we were living in a picture!

My stay at this heritage hotel was nothing short of exceptional. The breathtaking view of Lake Brienz was a constant delight, especially from the expansive balconies that adorned our spacious, clean, and cozy rooms. The hotel exudes a charming vibe, with guests relaxing and enjoying themselves, which added to the overall tranquil atmosphere. The reception team was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to assist. I had wonderful conversations with them, and they provided invaluable guidance on how to explore the nearby attractions. The gentleman overseeing breakfast was equally attentive, ensuring all our small requests were met with a smile. Breakfast itself was a highlight, offering a delightful variety of options that I thoroughly enjoyed. The hotel's location is ideal—just a two-minute walk from the Bonigen bus stop, making it very convenient for travelers. The surroundings of the hotel are beautiful and serene, adding to the relaxing experience. I was particularly thrilled to learn that a crew from a Bollywood movie stayed here and even rehearsed a dance sequence on the premises! Without a doubt, I will choose this hotel again if I ever find myself in Interlaken. The combination of its historic charm, stunning views, and excellent service makes it a perfect place to stay.

I arrived pretty late at about 2pm to Interlaken Ost and took a walk towards the hotel. I did this to taken in the sights and because I wasn’t carrying a lot ( just a backpack and small duffle). The hotel is right next to the lake, the bus stop is very close just a short 5 min walk from the hotel. I didn’t stay long (just one night) and since I had to catch an early train the following day, I told them about an early check out and they said I could just no one would be at the desk in the early morning, 5am, and to pay the taxes fee (about 4 Swiss francs). Also the hotel closes the front door at 9pm, if you come back after you would have to come in from the back of restaurant thats right next to the hotel. The room was small perfect for a solo traveler and had a TV with cable, blowdryer, small safe, a small table with a comfy sofa seat and closet space. I was surprised to see no mini fridge though. The bathroom was small but clean. The shower had a small space to sit which is nice for people who need it. However, since it is small the toilet is very close to the shower so it is a bit of a tight space. The bed was comfortable as were the pillows. It was pretty noisy at night as I could hear the other guests in the room above and in the hallway. Not super noisy but just something to keep in mind. I wasn’t able to try their free breakfast as I did an early check out. All in all, great place for solo travelers and the view from the hotel is amazing even if you don’t get a balcony view. :)

Absolutely great location just in front of the lake. Make sure you upgrade your room and choose the one with balcony facing the lake. You will be waking up feeling like you are inside a painting. Great transport hub as well, bus stops in front of the hotel and they give you a free travel card. The staff are awesome and very welcoming. We had a great stay and will definitely come back next time we are in Interlaken.

We enjoyed the stay in SeeHotel. Located in just few meters from the picturesque Lake Brienzersee offered us a wonderful stay in the Interlaken region. The staff were very nice, and helpful. Breakfast was great. The bus stop was just front of the hotel. Great and quiet place to stay!

The accessibility and signs inside the hotel could be improved.

The person who welcomed us was very friendly. The breakfast is good and sufficient. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The hotel provided us with a card to use the buses in the whole of zone 1 of Interlaken (this is really appreciated). The hotel is located in the small town of Bonigen. It's a quiet little town with good transport links. Bus line 103 is located close to the hotel and takes you directly to the centre of Interlaken in 10 minutes. From Interlaken station, the whole of the canton of Berne is within easy reach 😀 We recommend it!

The only 2 small negative points are : 2 single beds instead of one double bed The pillows are a little thin
