the hotel was 10 min by bus from Interlaken West, however, bus frequency was not that helpful. it was about once every 30 min, once you missed it, you missed it! the hotel has a nice restaurant with good prices but restaurant staff do not speak good English, however it was manageable. the hotel has no lift, we were on 2nd floor.

Small Boutique hotel nestled in Ringgenberg Village - 5 mins by Bus from Interlaken Ost. Beautiful views & Cozy Rooms. Totally worth every penny.

Good location - suits well if you plan to visit Interlaken area. WiFi good. Breakfast was good. They have their own restaurant / bar downstairs, seems quite popular for locals.

Room (3rd) floor was quite small and some weird smell in the room (maybe just old building). Would need some renevation soon, specially in bathroom. Floors were quite dirty, some very old stains in the carpet - would need some deep cleaning.

Free bus pass is provided the hotel and very near to the bus stop... Very easy to reach Interlaken Ost and West stations... Ringgenberg also has a ferry stop if you are taking the boat cruise for Lake Brienz....

Just wanted to share some information about staying in Interlaken. If you choose to stay there, all bus services in Interlaken and the surrounding towns are free. We took a bus from Interlaken OST. Unfortunately, we didn't realize we needed to fill out a free bus pass beforehand and had to purchase tickets. The hotel we stayed in was a pleasant 4-minute walk from the bus stop. It was a nice and cozy place, and our room was even better than we expected. It was quite spacious with large beds and included complimentary water, coffee pods, and milk. The bathroom was also spacious. The hotel staff were incredibly kind. They even provided us with a Swiss outlet adapter for charging our devices and proactively printed out the Interlaken pass for free bus rides for us. The only minor thing was that we found the pillows to be a bit too soft, but everything else was perfect – the location, cleanliness, room size, and amenities were all excellent.

Great location just outside of Interlaken if you’re looking for somewhere a little less pricey in the area. Room had the basic amenities and it was handy having the restaurant downstairs which was good value for money in the area. Big shoutout to server Mariana (not sure of the correct spelling) who was such a delight and really made our first evening in the restaurant a memorable one. Parking was also always available which was very handy for our travels.

As others have said, the building is old so rooms could do with a bit of a refresh. Bathroom was quite small, but did the job. Again, due to the age of the building, walls are a bit thin, and we could hear our neighbours, but they do ask that patrons keep noise down between nighttime hours which is appreciated.

The hotel was nice. Getting to it from Interlaken ost was easy. Overall the room was decent and clean. The location is not bad the city is well connected. They have a restaurant if you want to eat there (Sunday and Monday they close) there is a small store right in front of the hotel which is convenient to buy things. Overall decent

The room was hot. No AC. If you open the windows a lot of insects fly in. The bathroom does not have an aspirator. Check in time is late but you can keep bags at the reception.

The hotel is actually a guesthouse, as most are in Switzerland. Very close to Interlaken, it was a very good choice for us. The guesthouse has free parking. What we didn't know: that the guesthouse has a restaurant with very good and varied food, with more affordable prices than in Interlaken. Unfortunately, we had very poor quality and overpriced food in Interlaken and we were upset that we didn't know about the restaurant at the guesthouse. Also, do not rush to buy tickets for the funicular in Interlaken. You will receive a discount voucher from the guesthouse.

Great location for exploring Interlarken. The complimentary guest card is great for free bus travel into and around town. It also has some small discounts on attractions in Interlarken which was nice.

The windows didn’t have any fly screens meaning bugs would enter if you left them open into the night. The rooms got quite hot with them closed but manageable with the small fan!

The room was comfortable and big enough for three adults. We had everything we needed in the room, including plenty of towels and facility for making coffee and tea. The parking was easy and checkin and check out was very simple. The sofa bed was even completely made up for us when we arrived. We did not select the included breakfast, but there was a good grocery across the street for pastries and excellent coffee. The bus stop was just a two minute walk down the street so getting into Interlaken was very quick and the property is close walk to the lake.

No complaints. The only surprise for us was that it was made clear to be quiet after 22:00 but they had Saturday night bingo that went on until 23:30.
