The location is amazing, right at the lThuner See. You can have breakfast of snacks throughout the day and evening right the waters edge in a nice gardn setting. There is no restaurant in the hotel but we got snacks and wine (from a small but good wine menu) served very nicely even after midnight. There is a very good restaurant within walking distance (12 min) with great food, a wide wine selection and a very good local beer (from the tap). Parking is limited but additional spaces are available behind the hotel through a gate accessible only for guests. This is is important because there is a pier for the ships operating on the lake out front and some people try to park there to go on a (very nice) cruise. Meeting another car on the way there on the steep, narrow road is a definite challenge because one of the cars has to back up, no passing each other. Speaking of traffic: accessing locations in the local mountains is perfect. Instead of booking a very definitely wayy overpriced hotel in Grindelwald this was a perfect choice. The scenic drive took just 25 min.

The rates for rooms overlooking the lake are Swiss-typical eye-watering.

The location, the view of the lake, it was nice and quiet and it was really clean. I used this hotel as my base, so I was able to travel to Lauterbrunnen, Mürren, Grindewald, Bern, Brienz. It was just perfect, if you are hesitant about booking don’t! Just book it. It’s not to far from Ringgenberg train station, which can get you to Interlaken ost in 3/4minutes, there is a local bus too. The breakfast had a good variety. I wish I could stay longer!

A stupendous view from the hotel room as well as from the garden. The hotel staff accommodated our request for a "to-go" breakfast, which helped us with our morning trip to Jungfraujoch. Electric car chargers (3) available (paid but normal network as the rest of the region). Prosecco at breakfast and eggs on butter goes to show the quality. A 7min walk from the nearby train station.

Everything! The property is simply excellent. The owners are very kind and generous. The location is right beside the Brienz lake. Rooms are spacious and our room had a big balcony as well. The view from the view is amazing!!

Only that the hotel is located downside the hill and railway station and bus stand are up the hill. So, if you are coming by bus aur train, you will have to walk your way down. But, it is easily accessible by road and cruise. The cruise comes directly to Riggenburg just outside the hotel.

Main area of interest was Interlaken. However, Interlaken is so touristy and busy you forget you in a land of immense natural beauty. The hotel is about 3 miles from Interlaken. Once you are in the hotel premises, serenity of the place sets in and the area Ringgenberg is very quiet. Please avoid being loud. The hotel has a real cute garden from which you can enjoy the beauty of lake Brienz and the mountains adjacent. Hotel staff is very kind and courteous. Cannot go wrong booking a room in this hotel. Breakfast is served at 7:30, it’s a good spread with bread, croissants, cheese, eggs … and good coffee and juice. This will definitely make your visit to Switzerland a tad bit better!

Honestly there was nothing I didn’t like.

Where do I begin? The location is amazing. I didn't know the view could get better than I experienced coming in via the train, but it gets way better. The hotel is quaint, quiet, luxurious, and not overcrowded. We didn't have to rush anywhere to get a great spot to sit by the water. The room is lovely - highly recommend going for a balcony (especially nice on cool nights to open the window/doors). Rooms were cleaned daily - we didn't expect this since in the US hotels have abstained from daily cleaning even after returning to mostly normal activities post COVID. There was a towel warmer and individual covers on the bed. Each morning I indulged in a delicious breakfast. Lots of great choices. They offer a short lunch/dinner menu for when you need a bite to eat and don't feel like climbing up the hill to a restaurant or bus stop. The staff (there were two primary people and additional staff that were more behind the scenes) was wonderful. They are a big reason why I hope to come back and stay in the same place for a longer duration. Every need was tended to, quickly and kindly. Helpful hints: 1. To get up to the bus stop, climb the stairs behind the building and take the path to the left and follow it to the arch under the bridge. Keep straight to the main road. Plenty of little spots to get up to the primary road. 2. If you have a lot, large, or heavy luggage, consider taking a taxi from the train station to the hotel (I imagine most people are arriving by train at Interlaken Ost). Our trip cost us approx. €25.

The staff were super nice even they guided us to good restaurants and they did not let us pay coffee and ice cream we bought. The location is just perfect as we were able to take the cruise while we were in the hotel and at the end of the day my wife and I we were used to enjoy the view of the lake and the sunset while eating some snacks The room service is perfect Everything is amazing, Seeburg hotel is highly recommended to anybody thinking of visiting Interlaken

There is no fan and we came during the summer so we really suffered from the hot weather

Unforgettable Lake Views I recently had an amazing stay at this hotel with an incredible view of the lake. The moment I walked in, I was blown away by the stunning lake panorama that greeted me. It was like having my own piece of paradise right outside my window.

Upon arrival, we were informed that children were not allowed, which came as a complete surprise to us. This policy was not communicated clearly during the booking process, and as a result, we were faced with extra charges to accommodate our situation.

The Hotel is right on the water. Amazing view of the lake from our room window. The rooms are spacious and very clean. The breakfast was fantastic. It’s very quiet which makes it easy to relax. Shuttle bus from the hotel every half hour into Interlaken made it easy to go out and explore each day. The owner was very friendly and personable. Couldn’t get any better!

The staff were extremely friendly. We arrived around 1 p.m. for check-in, and the lady at the front desk woke up from her sleep to check us in. They gave us discount cards and many good sightseeing recommendations, and even a very tasty bar of chocolate upon check out. The front restaurant area is a dream. Best view out of any hotel in Switzerland we stayed at. Highly recommend.
