The hotel was exactly as expected, we reached Interlaken earlier and the front desk allowed us to check in early. Even though there was some work going on in the hotel, there was no disturbance or noise. The easy walking access to the hotel from Interlaken Ost station gave us easy access to the other villages and towns around Interlaken. The breakfast area was quiant and cozy, and the staff was very helpful. The hotel was expensive, but then you are in Interlaken and everything is expensive :-). Nothing to not like....everything was great.

The location was very convenient, an easy ten minute walk along the main road from the train station (not loud or much traffic by American standards). Room was very clean, bed was super comfortable, and we appreciated all the built in storage. Hotel grounds are lovely with a koi pond beside and church/ castle directly behind. We ate at the restaurant one night and the food was tasty and artistically prepared. The breakfast was a good spread, tended more to American tastes than some other hotel breakfasts we ate at. But had homemade breads and Swiss breakfast foods as well, and yummy yogurt and muesli every day, and a great selection of juices. Breakfast staff was friendly and helpful. When my husband was sick in bed they helped me get a tray to bring up to him. Could dine outside on the patio for breakfast next to the koi pond.

Only the shower- it was hard to keep all the water in the tub, and the shower nozzle kept sliding down the pole and spraying the wrong direction.

The hotel is very well located within walking distance of the train station, while it is also convenient to reach the city's main shops and streets on foot. Check-in and check-out were straightforward and hassle-free, thanks to the professional and friendly staff. The room we chose was spacious, and the king-sized bed was exceptionally comfortable, spotless, and clean. Another highlight of this hotel was the breakfast, and on site restaurant.

The only downside was the bathroom, you have to stand in the tub to take a shower, which isn’t ideal.

It had a great restaurant, and the staff was so accommodating and nice! Beautiful rooms, great views, and an easy walk to the busy parts of Interlaken, as well as the train station and entrance to Harder Kulm! Breakfast every morning was the best way to start off the day! There was always something different and delicious, along with some same daily staples!

The pillows were laughably thin, but they easily remedied the situation with more thin pillows. Eventually, you’ll get enough to get the height you’re looking for! It’s the silliest complaint, but good sleep is important when you’re hiking your tail off around these parts!

Great location so close to the Interlaken OST train station so it made it so easy to get out early morning for hiking destinations. Walking through Interlaken is great too! We asked reception on a very rainy day for recommendations to go get a massage and she told us that the majority of tourists go to a couple areas and enjoy it, BUT also told us a where she personally would go that was a bit further out of the way and it was absolutely incredible. The rooms were so clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was probably the best included breakfast I’ve had at a hotel!

The smell from the dinner cheese fondue tends to travel up the stairs to all the hallways which is a bit unpleasant, however it does not get into the rooms themselves so not a big deal!

Location is perfect, walking distance to train station as well as restaurants and shops. Very clean hotel. Breakfast was very good and the decor throughout the hotel was really nice.

A water bottle was only provided the first day. Staff was a little rude when asked for water bottle in the room for the additional days. We were not told that there is a water dispenser in the hallway that we could use to refill the bottle until we questioned them. Manager came up to room and seemed angry that we asked. We were fine once we learned about the water dispenser .

Very convenient location nestled in the most scenic area close by to shops and the most stunning lakes I have ever seen. Coming from a long day of travel the short walk from the station to our hotel with our heavy bags was quick and easy. We opted for the medium sized room and it was a decent size for 2 people. The staff were very nice and helpful, the beds were so comfortable I had the best sleep, the breakfast had so much variety and delicious food. Would recommend to stay here, we will definitely be back!

This hotel exceeded my expectations! The tiny room was a perfect size and could have still fitted a couple. The room was spotlessly clean and the bathroom with bath was a good size. The breakfast was great, and I actually ate at the hotel every night (after being turned away as a solo traveller in town) and the staff were super friendly and the food was amazing. For a multi night stay I got a city pass for discounts on attractions and activities. It was super close to the station to access other towns and easy walk to the other end of town.

Nothing! Only that the entire time I was there we had super gloomy weather so I'd love to go back and see the surrounding mountains

The location was perfect, the rooms were updated and incredibly comfortable. We especially loved our little balcony that overlooked the courtyard.

I’ll sound spoiled saying this (and I believe it’s just generalized to Europe) but the AC was lacking. It was especially hot when we visited so it’s understandable, but maybe providing a top sheet rather than duvet could have helped as well.

When we arrived - the receptionist said she didn't have our booking! Showing the written email confirmation our booking was found. Instead of being recorded as our surname TOYN, the booking was recorded as my first name RICHARD. This is the second hotel in recent times that we have experienced this problem. I don't believe it is a hotel problem - I think that it is a Booking.Com software problem - swapping UK surnames and first-names when you transfer the booking data - it is certainly not my problem - sort it out of I will be going to another hotel booking site in the future.
