200% recommended. All about our stay in Carlton Europe was amazing. Best part was that they love and welcomed our dog in te best possible way. Dogs are allowed everywhere. They provided us an upgrade because of our dog, and the room was very spacious, lovely decorated and super comfortable. The staff is super friendly and helpful, they provided recommendations and guidance and a lots of pet for our dog! Facilities are super cozy and the vintage classy decoration is divine. Breakfast was delicious with all the things we needed, and the breakfast room had the best views. It is about 3 min from Ost station and 15 min walking to downtown, super comfortable to do it everyday enjoying the mountains. Interlaken and surroundings are dreamed places so definitely will go again, and we’ll stay here again! Thank you all for receiving us, mainly Cali in such a lovely way

Two minor recommendations. Pillows could be renewed, and a small curtain in the bathroom window to avoid giving too much light to the room

The room wasn't big, but it was big enough for us. We also liked the vintage style decor. The staff were very friendly and helpful. One of the guys spent over 30 minutes with us recommending us great places to visit based on our preferences. Thanks to him, we ended up hiking in Schynige Platte, which turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip. Unfortunately we have forgotten the guy's name, but thank you very much! The location is great, close to the train station and several restaurants. There's also a really good hamburger restaurant in the same building but don't forget to book a table - it's very busy in the evenings. The breakfast buffet was large with lots of delicious options. We also have to mention the fact that this is really an adults-only hotel, so you don't have to listen to screaming children. The atmosphere was relaxed and quiet. Overall we had a great stay here.

During our stay the it was very hot and the room did not have air conditioning. We tried to keep the windows open, but the traffic noise was way far too loud. If temperatures like this become common, they should invest in air conditioning. We felt the place was a bit overpriced.

The staff was very helpful and accommodating with every aspect of our stay. They went out of their way in assisting us to do our laundry. They helped us with useful suggestions what to do in the area and with transportation hints. The breakfast was excellent with a wide selection in a very comfortable place with a patio that has a beautiful view

We stayed three nights. The closets in our room had no shelves so it was difficult to unpack and forced us to live out of a suitcase for the duration which was uncomfortable. Secondly, there was window between the bathroom and bedroom so at night when one of us used the facility and other was sleeping the light woke us up. We were not surprised that the rooms are not airconditioned but with global warming it's something they should think about. They did give us a fan but it was pretty small and not that effective. The location of the hotel is OK close to the Interlaken Ost station but not within walking distance of the main part of the town - a short free bus ride took care of that

Great location, a couple of minutes walk from Interlaken OST, the main station for all connections. There are several restaurants and supermarkets if you walk around 5-10 mins. We stayed in the Suite and it was very spacious. The staff were very helpful and friendly.

There is no AC in the property and the small table fan in the room is inadequate for the heat during June. Moreover the breakfast spread is boring- need more variety.

This hotel is the most comfortable one for us during our three-month trip in Europe. 1. All the hotel staff are very professional, and it is a team with very high professionalism. In particular, the front desk staff communicated with us very attentive and warm. 2. The location is very good, very close to the train station to Jungfrau, the mountain cable car, the paragliding landing lawn, and the tourist district. 3. You can overlook the snow-capped mountains from the window, and there is a beautiful river view in front of the hotel. The hotel is full of old-fashioned Swiss furniture and utensils, which is very helpful for understanding Swiss humanities and history. The scenery is very beautiful. 4. The free buffet breakfast is very rich. It is so enjoyable to enjoy the delicious food while admiring the beautiful scenery of the snow-capped mountains on the balcony of the restaurant. 5. Snacks, clean dog beds, two clean towels and poop bags were specially provided for our puppy, which is very warm. It is also the only hotel that charges a certain fee but provides very thoughtful service. 6. The toiletries provided by the hotel are of very good quality, which is also one of the characteristics. Highly recommended.

We were given a room upgrade on arrival at the hotel. The reception staff were extremely helpful and friendly, especially Michaela. Also, the staff at breakfast time were friendly too and there was a good selection of food available. We have stayed at this hotel several times and have always had a pleasant experience. The hotel is extremely convenient for Interlaken Ost train station, which is a real bonus for trips and excursions.

Perfect location only few minutes walk from Interlaken Ost, the main train station. They upgraded our standard room into an apartment with a nice view balcony, which was a kind gesture. Breakfast was nice. Beds were comfortable.

Aside from the lovely blonde lady who received us on the first day, I would have liked the other receptionists to be more “smiley”.

- Didn't like the non digital lock for the rooms (but i guess they're really staying true to the "vintage" vibes) - Pillows were too soft

Breakfast is great, just looks like everyday also the same as I had the same for 3 days :p Location is fantastic, just few minutes walk from Interlaken OST train station, and also close to the shopping street. Room actually is pretty small and looks antique, but it is comfort

Room sound proof, I can hear the sounds from upstairs or outside the corridor.

Rooms were very nice. bed was comfortable. Very nice breakfast served every morning

Hotel was under major renovation. This was not disclosed before booking was made. Room had blocked view with construction scaffolding outside my window. Also rooms don't have secure key card entry. Locks have old fashioned metal keys with heavy metal paperweight attached.
