The variety and quality of food offered make the breakfast a memorable part of the stay. Heritage Charm The hotel exudes a heritage-style charm, adding to its uniqueness and appeal. Its architecture and ambiance give guests a feeling of stepping into a historical setting while enjoying modern comforts. One notable drawback is the absence of a lift/elevator, which can be inconvenient for elderly guests or those carrying heavy luggage. The narrow stairs leading to the first and second floors may also pose a challenge for some visitors. However, this is a minor issue when weighed against the hotel’s numerous advantages. Our group of seven travellers from India thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hirschen Hotel. Despite the small inconvenience of the stairs, we were highly satisfied with the services, location, and overall experience. The beautifully located hotel, combined with its excellent staff and delightful dining, makes it a highly recommended choice for visitors to Interlaken.

Liked every bit of it. Nice hotel, great breakfast with many choices of fruits, fresh breads, eggs, bacon, cereals, jellies. It is an authentic swiss chalet. Hosts were very helpful and friendly. We would recommend this place. The location was great, and it was close to the bus stop to go to the train station.

Staff was very accommodating to bring us a crib for our 1 year old and a few other needs. Rooms were a nice size and very charming with their Swiss decor. Location was so convenient to walk into town.

Usually nobody was at the front desk so if you needed something you had to go to the basement to get someone from the restaurant to help you - I felt like a bother to ask them while they are busy waiting tables, but there was no one else to ask.

Location of the hotel is great, 5-10 minute walk to the centre of Interlaken. Breakfast was a great fresh continental selection of fruit, yoghurts cereals and pastrys ect. The double room was spotless, and a great size with access to a great balcony. Plenty of parking at the hotel. The hotel itself has great character and has a perfect mix of traditional and modern. We only visited the hotel resteraunt on our last night for a fondue which was perfect and the rest of the resteraunt looked great. All of the staff at this hotel were great!

The room did get quite hot in the night, not unbearable and still managed to sleep fine though. There was a dyson fan provided and the hotel does appear to be fitting air con in the room so this is obviously known about and being dealt with.

Room and bathroom were clean. Breakfast was excellent, offering a variety of options, including bread with jams, scrambled eggs, sausages, hash browns, fruit, a diverse selection of ham and cheese, oatmeal, cereal, and a range of teas. A great perk is that the kitchen remains open 24/7 for hot tea and water. Location: Very convenient. From Interlaken West, take bus 104 for four stops (about 5 minutes) and get off at Matten b.l., Hotel Regina. From Interlaken Ost, take the same bus for seven stops (about 8 minutes). I didn’t walk, but I heard it takes around 20 minutes on foot. Staff: Outstanding service! Nicole (hope I spelled it correctly) was incredibly kind and supportive. She always had a warm smile and patiently answered all questions. Revisit intention: Absolutely! As a solo female traveler, I felt extremely safe and warmly welcomed.

Beautiful hotel hundreds of years old that served incredible food. The staff were all amazing but as many have said you often have to go down to the restaurant on the bottom floor below reception to find them. They have a washing machine and drier you can use for 4CHF each which was wonderful. There is a bus to East and another to West one minute from the hotel. They run every 30 minutes or you can walk in 15. Room was beautiful and I’m 6’5” and while the roof is low I was fine. Interlaken is a fantastic travel hub and has great services. I’d love to return some day.

Room was quite hot but opening the window helped. Almost no hotels in Switzerland have AC so I expect that.

Location of the hotel is great, only 15-20 mins walk from Interlaken Ost and West train stations. Room was comfortable and clean. All the staff was really helpful and friendly. I loved the breakfast included various choices, excellent quality of hot and cold dishes, delicious cheese selection. Having great breakfast on the terrace in this 'old' building watching the mountains and enjoying the beautiful environment with fresh air early morning..it is unforgettable.

As the hotel is located at the corner of a main street, there is big traffic all day long. If you sleep by open window during summer time, it might be disturbing but you can find earplugs/stoppel on the bed table.

A cozy building with a lot of character. The staff is outstanding. The room was a nice size, clean and comfortable. They have onsite free parking. The breakfast buffet was one of the best of our entire trip. Lot as of options for hot food (eggs, sausage, bacon), cold food (many different cheeses from the area and meets) yogurt and granola, fruits and pastry (which one group took ALL of). Located walking distance to town and the fanicular and train stations. Lovely place to have a home base to visit other sites

The laundry detergent for the sheets has a very strong smell (flowery) which caused my husband some allergy issues but at least you know they are super clean

The location was excellent - close to public transportation to visit sites in the area. Hospitality was incredible from the moment we arrived to check out. Included breakfast had plentiful options and was very tasty -home made jams- yum! Restaurant food was delicious and ambiance both inside and outside on patio was rustic and inviting. Our room was updated and bathroom was well appointed and modern. Would definitely recommend staying here to anyone looking for a great experience in Interlaken.

Our room was facing the road and we needed to open the windows to cool the room down (no a/c but fan was provided) so it was pretty loud at night. They did provide ear plugs which was nice and helped a lot. Bedding is set up differently than we are used to in the states with no top sheet used and individual comforters per person, but we adapted to it just fine.

The hotel is perfect location, a short walk to train station and main town centre. The hotels are very clean and comfortable and breakfast was great. Also a bonus of the drinks station open 24/7.

Not a major issue but when we checked in no one was on reception and there was a sign advising to find someone in the restaurant which we done after about 5 minutes. When we went to the restaurant no one was there, we then had to phone the hotel from our phone and someone came straight away. Then again when we went to check out no one was there. There was no sign and again we looked around and called the hotel but no answer this time so we just had to wait, this was about 10 minutes and we were rushing to get a train so not ideal. We understand it's a small property and the team are doing numerous different roles but maybe a bell or a phone that will always be answered and could be called from reception would be great.
