The location was great, about 10-15 mins from Interlaken West and Interlaken Ost stations. The room was very cosy and clean, and had a private bathroom and balcony which was very nice. We were on the top floor so it was quiet in terms of noise from other people and from outside (we couldn't hear the buses etc from the top floor). There is access to a small kitchen so you would also be able to cook if you wanted to. It is not as outrageously priced as other places in Interlaken so being able to book this more affordable accommodation actually made it possible for us to visit this beautiful place. It was better than what we had expected considering the much cheaper price compared to other places nearby.

The staff does not respond to messages no matter how many times you message them, even though they state you can message them on booking.com or WhatsApp at any time. Many other reviews also state this so I think they just don't reply to anyone. There is no place to leave luggage on check-in or check-out days (luckily luggage storage at Interlaken Ost station was not too expensive). There was a skylight window on the roof right on top of the bed (as our room was on the top floor) so it was impossible to sleep when it rained due to the loud noise of the rain on the glass. We booked the room as a twin room with two separate beds but it was made into a double bed.

The room was perfect for a solo traveller. Comfortable with great view from window.

Communication could be better. I didn't realise that the place doesn't have a manned reception (probably my own fault). I've been travelling alot and have been able to arrive early and store luggage, but not here. Had to sit in coffee shop for a few hours and wait. This should be a little clearer on the booking details. I could have done something different.

- Good location, bus stop right in front - 15 mins to Interlaken Ost, surrounds by lots of restaurants and supermarket - LARGE ROOM with all necessary amenities, vey nice - I personally like the wooden - old house stay - People during my stay was very quiet, no noise around, peaceful night - To me it’s a beautiful - vintage hotel from outside - Very good price - You can lock your door, it’s good

- No elevator - Holy god, imagining carrying 3 - 30kg luggage up, damn - Old kettle - please change a new one - No Staff to communicate - sad - Keys in front of door - not so secure - but you are in Swiss anyway, so it’s safe I guess - Too late check in time, you cannot deposit your luggage here

The hotel is close to the station on foot (15 minutes) but there are also buses in front of the hotel to the city center and the train station. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and from our window we could have views of the snow-capped mountains. The beds are comfortable and the shared kitchen had the essentials.

The windows do not isolate sound from the street where buses pass until late at night. Our suggestions: 1- Place a notice in the shared kitchen for guests to wash the dishes and leave everything clean and tidy 2 - Buy a new Microwave as it is very difficult to heat food in what is currently in the kitchen.

The views off the balcony and the back window were fantastic as seen in the pictures I uploaded. The flat is on the top level of the building and has the balcony you can see in the picture they have of their building. The beds were particularly comfy and each person got their own comforter. Easy 20 minute walk from Ost station and walking distance to anything in Interlacken. There is a bar on the street level of the building but it didn't cause us any issues - we actually loved having it there and spent a night drinking and eating good food there. Interlacken itself is stunning.

The 2nd bedroom has no windows (only a skylight), and so the ventilation isn't so good. A fan was provided to help. The main bedroom has a king bed on one side and a single twin bed on the other, so 3 of our 5 people slept in that room.

Location is good. Walkable distance to the train station. The room was clean and comfortable. I would say it was a decent place and considering the prices around we were happy with the choice. Plenty of restaurants around, also a supemarket within 2 mins walk distance.There is a common kitchen which you could use (we didnt) There is a bus stop right in front of the hotel if needed. Also there is a pub on the groundfloor

We arrived at 12pm and we didnt know there is no checkin desk (we wanted to leave our luggages). Doors were closed so we tried ringing the doorbell and tel number but no answer. We called many many times and eventually left as we didnt want to waste the day. Came back in the evening and the keys were waiting for us. It would have been nice for someone to actually pickup the phone and say to come later or anything.luckly the train station has lockers so you can leave the luggage there for a fee.

I appreciated having a parking spot available. Other parking was nearby. The room had a nice view. The furnishings were basic but adequate. Room was spacious. The bar/restaurant below the hotel was excellent. The outside seating area was nice to have. Close to restaurants, grocery store and laundry. Check in and check out were easy. For check in there is an envelope on the front door with your name on it. Inside there is a blue fob to get in the front door and a sheet of paper with a lock box number and a number code to open the box located to the left a foot or so around the corner. Inside the box is your room key. Easy. Cleaning staff were friendly.

A little bit far from city center.

Good location, in town and near a bakery, grocery store, and restaurants. Away from the crowded center but a nice and easy walk. We really enjoyed having a terrace and access to a refrigerator, Silverware, etc. The bed was comfortable and the room was very clean when we arrived. Check-in was easy with the envelope at the door. This is a comfortable place and we thought it was a good value. We didn’t pay for luxury, we paid for comfortable and clean and that’s what we got!

Others have said it, but we would have liked a response to our request for the bus pass. Having said that, we rode the bus several times and no one ever asked for a pass or ticket like they do on the trains! Maybe that’s why it’s not really a priority to have one. It worked out!

the location, not far from the Interlaken West station or Ost station (10 min walk, 5 min by bus 105 or 104). The bus stop is opposite to the hotel and another bus-top is just in-front of the hotel. The room was clean, had all the necessities (but dish washing machine was out off order). We had kitchen in our 2 beds room apartment with a view of the mountains at the front balcony. There’s a supermarket near the hotel “Coop” (5 min walks)

Poor customer service. No responses to any messages that you sent via Booking.com and they didn't answer the phone calling line also. Lots of stairs to go up the 4th floor without elevator. But I'm waiting to check in in front of the building, the guy come to drop the envelop with the room key and door code for guests, helps us to carry some baggage upstairs, Thanks to his helping hands.
