The manager and the caretaker lady who also serves breakfast were very polite and friendly. The view from the room and breakfast area were beautiful.

The access to hotel was not clear and it’s hidden from the road. It’s quite uphill so heavy luggage should be avoided. We requested two beds option but we were given one bed with two mattresses. We stayed there multiple night so were very uncomfortable. We woke up with body aches every morning as the mattresses and pillows are very worn out. The room had a beautiful view but was very old and small to move around. The bathroom had a distinct smell, may be due to older plumbing. The wood floor needs fixing. Overall we enjoyed our stay but wouldn’t have stayed longer if there was cancellation option.

The location was great. It is far from the train station but we were able to take the train to the hotel which is only extra 10 mins. The hotel was on the small hill and overlooking a lake which is beautiful scenery. U can also walk from the hotel to the lake to take the boat to Istwald which is another beautiful town. The boat ride is covered by the Swiss train pass. The lake is absolutely gorgeous and stunning. Worth the ride even if u have to pay for the ride.

The hotel rooms are quite small and the wall was pretty thin. So we can hear next door people talking. But once it pass 10/11pm, it was quite. People respect the rules of the hotel and becomes quite. The hotel breakfast was good and the view from the restaurant was beautiful. The reception lady (sorry I forgot her name) super friendly and nice.

Absolutely LOVED our warm and friendly welcome from the amazing Reneta . She was so kind and fun and friendly and made us feel very happy and at ease . Was an even bigger surprise to be welcomed with a travel pass so we can in and out of interlaken for free on the train which is just at the bottom of the hill 2 minutes away . Reneta made our stay and would have paid extra just to have her as our host ! The views were absolutely incredible over the lake and we had the best breakfast delivered to our room in the morning and could enjoy coffee and croissants on the balcony . I would 100% this hotel and 100 % recommend Reneta . We will Definately be coming back next year . Thankyou xxx

Absolutely loved my stay at this hotel, with its stunning lake and mountain views accompanied by the peaceful sound of birds chirping. The rooms were spotless and cozy, making it a truly comfortable retreat. Special thanks to Renetta, who was exceptionally helpful and kind throughout my stay. The hotel is conveniently located near Niederried train station, with hourly trains to Interlaken that take just 7 minutes. I highly recommend this place for a peaceful and scenic getaway!

The view of Lake Brienz from the balcony was absolutely stunning and made my stay truly special. The hotel is also just a short walk from the train station, which was very convenient. I enjoyed the tasty breakfast each morning.

The only downside is that there is just one train per hour, which can be a bit inconvenient if you miss it or need to return to the hotel urgently. Also Niederried is not covered in Interlaken daily pass. So you have to pay for train tickets unless you have a Swiss travel pass.

Location 2 stops away from main town. But loved the location as it is quiet. Room is spacious and beds are super comfortable! Hosts was so so nice ! They weren't around for the check in as we were late. But their instructions on how to collect our keys and where to find our room was clear! Breakfast was nice and host was so nice to serve us our drinks. She took care of us like a family! So friendly! Will surely stay here if we were to come back to interlaken!

Amazing hotel in the great location. We had access to the trains and the boat (2 mins walk to both) which helped us to travel around the area easily. Good size room with breathtaking vew from the balcony, cozy beds and a great shower/bath. Had a kettle and an electric fan which we used a lot. Team was very friendly, continental breakfast was good and also had a decent cofee machine. Freshly baked croissants made it feel special. Hotel has communal kitchen and the fridge for guests which was very useful.

No cafe/restaurants in the area so had to eat dinner in Interlaken or Brienz or buy snacks in the supermarket to eat in the hotel in the evening. Sitting on the balcony was spoiled by neighbours smoking, same at night when we kept the doors open to get some fresh air. Would be great idea to have it as non-smoking hotel.

The property is in front of the amazing scenic view of Switzerland interlake . Dream place to stay ! The staffs are very helpful and great hospitality! The hotel gave us free 2 passes for the train of interlake. Just 2 mins walk to the train station from the hotel, If you are staying here , either have a vehicle.

Everything was good at the hotel stay! Close by there is no supermarkets or restaurants, You need to grab your stuff early , or else drive to the city to get something’s .

Was a nice surprise - conveniently located, with spacious room and balcony overlooking the lake. Spacious convenient parking, 3 Min to the teain station and 5-7 Min to the nice small beach. Very attentive staff, with all recommendations and small gifts we felt ourselves very welcomed there- thank you very much again. Regret to stay just 1 night and hope to return for longer time

The location is great. Very serene and relaxing. Good place to rest after travelling, hiking, sightseeing or being with crowds. The lake view is superb. The breakfast served is very satisfying and gives good value for money considering the cost of food items in Switzerland. Lastly, the hotel management and staff are very attentive, friendly and make the guests feel very comfy and at home.

The train going to Interlaken comes once every hour only. But this proved to be not much of an issue for us anyhow.
