The Strandhotel Restaurant Iseltwald is a charming retreat on the shores of Lake Brienz, offering stunning views and a tranquil atmosphere in the Bernese Oberland . The hotel features a beautiful lakeside terrace where we enjoyed delicious meals with the local lake pike being a highlight amongst the fish dishes. Our room at the top had a gorgeous lake view and a small balcony under the roof The hotel is perfect for a peaceful getaway with its excellent dining and picturesque setting. It was our second stay here and we are already looking forward to coming back again to Iseltwald

The hotel staff are generally very polite but a little more attention to friendly customer service from the hotel owner would be welcome. We hope to come back many times as the hotel is truly one of our favourites so we look forward to experiencing another enjoyable and entertaining stay next year

The Views from the Hotel Strand were magnificant. Beautiful setting, nice and quiet with a cute little balcony to enjoy the lake views. The room was better then the pictures. Cozy with complimentary tea and coffee. The beds are firm like most of Europe which is what we like. The morning buffet was delicious with large variety. The staff was so kind and helpful. From here we explore Lauterbrunnen, Grindelwald, and Giessbach water fall. Definitely will be back to explore and hike in this area of Switzerland again. We were here beginning of May when all the spring wild flowers are in bloom.

Balcony with view of the lake was fantastic. Room was clean and bathroom was modern. Waking up to the breathtaking view and having a drink on the balcony in the evening gave us some unforgettable moments.

Breakfast could be better and coffee did not taste good at all. There is an extra charge if you want cooked eggs or bacon. We've stayed in hundreds of hotels and have never seen this. Mattress was not so comfortable.

Everything was perfect- location, staff, facilities, breakfast. Our room has the best view! The staff were very nice and accomodating! They even prepared a very special breakfast for me and my husband on our last day there. I highly recommend Strandhotel, best hotel in Iseltwald! Just few steps away from the kdrama Crash Landing On You's landing stage! Hope to be back!

The hotel was absolutely beautiful both inside and out. Situated right next to the boat stop, only a few meters from the little boat Dock featured in k-drama Crash landing on you, our room had its own little terrace and view over the lake and the mountains. Very comfortable beds, large room. Excellent food in the restaurant, the "Crash landing on you" plate was the best fish and chips my daughter had ever eaten

Breakfast was very basic but that’s seems to be a common theme in Switzerland. We were upgraded to a corner room, where we had amazing beautiful views. It was a lovely little hotel and will definitely be coming back again.

Perfect location!!! The staff was nice and helpful. The rooms are very spacious. The view on the lake from the hotel terrace or the room’s balcony is unbeatable!!

Kitchen/wait staff was great - I felt the FD man could have been a bit more friendly and helpful but the woman was nice. Bus schedule and ferry boat schedule was very confusing - would have liked more help from staff about it. Had we not had a car and only used that transportation, it would have been real issue.

Stunning location, view from balcony and room, tea and coffee facilities, cleanliness, peaceful, parking and reception was great.

Overpriced restaurant, and although breakfast was sufficient, it could've been better with more choice.

The view was unbeatable from our lake view room. Absolutely breathtaking. Peaceful and doesn't feel crowded.

Perhaps a little fan would be helpful in midsummer, but it wasn't too big of a deal. You can always have a little swim in glacier water. I brought my own handheld fan.
