Beautiful view on lake and mountain. Easy to find. Across the road direct access to the lake. Nice and friendly staff. Clean in general.

Entrance for self check-in is not very welcoming. We booked a room with a mezzanine for our daughter but she found some spiders and was too scared to sleep there... and the lather not very stable. I found the price quit expensive for the small space, and the age of the facility... Noise from the road in front and train behind during the day.

Staff was very friendly. View from restaurant to the lake. Plenty of parking place. mattress was very good. Breakfast was very good.

The hotel is not directly at the lake, but a road is between. And behind the hotel there is a railway. It's not a quite place. One of the louvers was broken and not nicely fixed. Obviously there was a water damage in the bathroom so the door could be closed only with brute force and the carpet was affected also. The outdoor facility is not new, looks not properly maintained.

Despite being the dearest hotel only our tour, the hotel exceeded my expectations greatly. It came up as one of the cheaper hotels in the area, it was clean, the rooms were in good condition, the views from our room and the restaurant were amazing. It was probably walkable to the town, but might have taken a little while. The staff were super friendly. While awaiting our room to be ready we went down to the lake side opposite and paddle boarded. I was a little concerned about the location being right between the railway and main road. The road was quiet at times you'd be sleeping, I couldn't hear the railway from lake views room. Parking wasn't secure, however I felt comfortable leaving my motorcycle in the car park. Food and drinks were nice also

Nice small hotel near by Brienz, good starting point for our excursions. Clean triple room with a balcony and a partial lake view with. Long duvets. Good breakfast and very good food in the hotel restaurant. Nice and friendly stuff. A lot of entrance fee discounts with hotel card for the activities in the area around both lakes.

Mattress a bit more firm and too warm duvets. We would appreciate mosquito net in the window for possibility of the night ventilation, although the position between a main street and a railway is not ideal.

A cute little place by the beautiful lake Brienz. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Our room had a nice balcony with a good view of the lake. They have a good restaurant but unfortunately we couldn’t try that out as it was closed due to a natural disaster happend in that area during our stay. Also they provide boats for rent. Nice large parking outside the hotel. Very friendly hosts. They were kind enough to arrange breakfast for us in crisis time caused by a big natural disaster in Brienz during our stay. Highly recommend.

We had our own inflateable boat and it were easy to launch boat in the lake just across the road. Nice wieu and access to the Lake. Good breakfast buffet and Restaurant for lunch and dinner. Big free parking lot. Hotel not new but cozy and with only 9 rooms it has a relaxed atmosphere. We liked hotel is a bit away from the Brienz city as we needed parking for boat trailer.

Excellent hotel, very comfortable and cozy, the staff was too attentive with us and attended to all our needs, the hotel is very clean and the room is comfortable and had heating since we went in the cold season, the breakfast is very good too, I would definitely return and I highly recommend staying here. By the way, the view of Lake Brienz is incredible

Wonderful hotel that is incredible value for the money. A stones throw away from a beautiful lake with clean balconied rooms over looking it. Very quiet and peaceful and a wonderfully located central base for those looking to do some of Switzerlands more exciting Via Ferrata. Roughly 1.5 hours drive from each of the 5 best routes that Switzerland has to offer (Dauberhorn, Fürenwand, Kandersteg, Mürren and Farinetta). Very friendly and helpful owners and staff and a convenient bathing location in the sky blue lake less than 30m from your doorstep for a post climb swim. Brienz is a short walk away which has supermarkets, bars and restaurants but the hotel restaurant is very good should you wish to stay at home. Ample parking and a peaceful area for those looking to relax. Very clean rooms and attentive cleaning staff coming each day. 5 stars all around! Highly recommended

the staff is very nice, pleasant and very helpful especially eva and manuel they have been very kind. the lake view on brienz is amazing, The hotel is in an excellent location and the train just makes it better. on the last day we had to go early to the airport. eva suggested that we take breakfast with us so she arranged everything in the night so we took it in the early morning and went to the airport. so thanks a lot eva and thanks to the staff. surely one of the best hotels i have ever been in.

A little further down from the main part of Brienz, but we just drove 2 minutes in our car. There are steps to come up to the property and steps to go to the room. It was great for us, but not so good for my father who limps and uses a cane. So if you have a handicap guest, not the best option. Otherwise we loved it!
