Facilities: iron, extra towels, dental, shaving kits, gym were all available.

Typical hotel “cleanliness”, stained towels and bedsheets. Hotel requests a card guarantee without and mention of it beforehand. Also no information on booking.com where you can book without one. Even though I booked with a credit card, they still requested a physical one upon check in. A lot of time wasted due to lack of communication. Also the claim that “most hotels expect this” is a poor excuse and actually false. Without a cc they expect 150CHF cash which is not feasible as a visitor ends up with this refunded money at the end without any use for it. Please communicate these requirements clearly, use the cc provided to booking and have a reasonable solution for those who don’t own a credit card.

The hotel is modern and has nice facilities, and the room I had felt spacious and even had a small balcony. The decorations throughout the hotel, especially in the breakfast area, gave it a nice homely feel which seemed to fit well with the theme of the hotel. The hotel is situated in a reasonably quiet area, easily accessible by tram or bus from Cornavin train station, or about 20 minutes on foot.

The breakfast was decent but a bit overpriced considering it was just a buffet. The portable air conditioner in the room was very noisy, being a light sleeper I had to turn it off overnight. Slight odor on the balcony, could have used a clean.

The room was beautifully clean and the bathroom was lovely. We really appreciated the balcony as my husband is a smoker. Supplies of tea and coffee in the room were good. The breakfast was lovely and as a coealic who needs gluten free choices I was well catered for. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

There was a bit of noise on the first night, from a birthday party on the balcony of the business next door. After that it was very quiet. Bedside tables would have been nice.

Great location and accommodated us with an early check-in. great staff, spacious room with comfortable bed, with a great breakfast. Highly recommend staying at this location.

We had a very enjoyable stay at the Home Swiss Hotel and would choose to stay here again. The room was a good size with a comfortable bed and was fresh, clean and modern with great facilities. Breakfast was continental with a very good selection. A real highlight for me was how friendly and helpful the staff were. From a very warm welcome at check in to show us the facilities and make sure we had our Tourist Card for free public transport, to assistance with restaurant times in the evening and a nice greeting at breakfast with a very smooth checkout process, all of the staff were very friendly, helpful and greeted us with a smile. This made a real difference to us and made our stay even more enjoyable, I would definitely recommend.

Amazing hotel, fantastic facilities, extremely clean. Continental breakfast was great with plenty of options. It would be good to have some hot food in the future. They also need to offer Almond milk for those that can't consume Soy or Dairy. Otherwise, would highly recommend on the quieter side of Geneva.

Location was close to primary shops, HOWEVER, it would have been perfect on the Mont Blanc side of Geneva, this is more olr-town, pretty quiet and laid-back.

The room was spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable. There were bus stations near the hotel, so it was easy to move around.

The toilet/shower did not have a wall, but only a glass to sparate from the room. That means that you could hear everything and see almost everything especially with the light on. That is a bit weird and unconfortable...

Room was a good size, the shower was great, room cleaned daily and the staff would leave on the air-con unit, so the room was cool upon our return. The bed was a little hard for me, however my husband found it fine (just my personal choice) The staff were amazing, Cecile went above and beyond to help us with trains and trams to catch and was always helpful, pleasant and very friendly - all of the staff had a same attitude that they wanted your stay to be as stress-free and pleasant as possible, nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast initially appeared expensive, however these are just Geneva prices that you need to be aware of and in the comparison the breakfast was good value and of a great standard for continental. Location was good, just a short 10 min walk to the lake and the old town.

Comfortable and convenient stay. We stayed in a studio room - it was great to have the kitchen area. The hotel provided crib and baby bath for our small child free of charge, which was much appreciated. It was very quiet as well, near bus stop and grocery store.

The location is convenient if visiting the university, or wanting to be close to parc bastion, for instance. It is a bit further from the rest of downtown/lake (but still an easy walk!)

The hotel is in a fairly central location, suitable both for a quiet rest away from traffic and for easy access to the main points of interest. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, making the stay pleasant also for solo travellers. The breakfast is good. Quiet room with a large shower. Comfortable bed. Overall, it is a hotel I would definitely return to.

Only annoyance in the room is the smell perhaps due to a hint of mold on a corner of the ceiling or the type of floor, typical of many hotels, which prevents deep cleaning.
