This hotel was very good value for money ! The parking was very convenient and breakfast was included, which I wasn't expecting, plus there was free WiFi. Clean, comfortable, personal welcome and convenient location all make this a hotel I would choose again in the future.

I couldn't find anything I didn't like. The hotel is right on the lake. You will find everything you are looking for at a better price than a competitive hotel!! Choose Alpha!

Hotel Alpha Thun exceeded my expectations, the bus stop to thun train station is just outside the hotel. The lake is just a few steps away.The staff made you feel like family. Its centrally located and thun is such a magical place. The rooms are clean and fresh. Thank you Anita, Pao, Layane and the breakfast staff.Thank you for your superior service and kindness, will come back for sure

Not one bad thing about this hotel

The location of the hotel is excellent. Rght outside was the bus station. Place is mainted very well. Spotless,rooms cleaned every day

The breakfast could be better. Some change day to day. All the staff except Anita were brilliant. Anita was very unwelcoming and she really needs to greet guests with a smile not a long face!!. Other staff were really helpful and friendly

to staff here was excellent It was ideal for us staff cudnt do enough fir you the rooms spotless and cleaned every day veds very comfortable we had our dinner here it was perfect and continental breakfast was excellent i definitely would recommend this gem iff a hotel thank you. Good breakfast. Easy access by bus or on foot to lovely town centre. Nice to have water in rooms and the coffee-making area at reception. Bath was nice too.

Charge of 4 CHF per day for bike parking in a hard-to-access (for heavy touring bikes) cellar wasn’t great. Mattresses very thin and towels very rough.

Had a lovely two night stay Staff helpful and friendly Provided with free bus pass from hotel Bus stop right outside 5min ride into town. Public transport very good.. Thun is beautiful, the climb upto the castle is well worth the effort.

We only stayed 1 night on our way to the ski area. Breakfast included so thats great and has a restaurant for dinner, so very convenient!

The lady at the check-in didnt seem to be very friendly when we arrived, also did our check-in like she was in a rush meanwhile there was no one else there.

The parking situation is fantastic across the street. Good value too! CHF4 for 24 hours. Plus, the marina and sports venues, and lakeside are all right there. It is a beautiful place to hang out. Picnic. Water sports. Second thing: The No 1 bus stop is right in front of Hotel Alpha Thun. The Hotel offers a free bus pass as well. Super convenient as it is a direct ride right into the center of Thun. And all that encompasses. Just a Great Set-Up. Third: The Hotel itself. Great staff. Clean. Very efficiently run. And Great Value. We will be visiting again. For Sure!

There is a no parking in the hotel premises. However you can park at a public car park which is like 3 minutes walk away and costs around 5-7 Francs per day. But since its a public car park keep your valuables with you.
