Superb location, comfy bed, FREE coffee/tea at the lobby. It was an easy 3minute walk from the main train station with migros nearby to buy things you need. My daughter loved the bed and in general, we love how clean the hotel room was when we arrived. We booked a room for 3 persons (one single, one bunk bed)

They sent a message right away to do online check in. We didn't know that doing it days before would help us enter the guesthouse building easily without going to the other hotel lobby for manual check in. Minor thing, but had I known, I spent extra time to do it online :)

I stayed at this hotel for its excellent location — just a short walk from Zurich HB and the main bus station, which made my travel plans much easier. The hotel operates on a fully self check-in system, which was smooth and straightforward. While there isn’t a reception in guest house, the staff in hotel were still incredibly helpful. I had an issue with delayed luggage, and the team was very kind and responsive, offering assistance and support when I really needed it — which I deeply appreciated. The property is clean, well-maintained, and quiet. One thoughtful touch I loved: a coffee machine available all day with complimentary coffee and tea — perfect after long travel days. Highly recommended for independent travelers looking for convenience, comfort, and helpful service when it matters most.

The location was perfect : walking distance for a few minutes to main train station, trams and buses so connectivity to different sites very easy. The building/rooms look new and updated including contactless check-in, entry/exit to and from the room. Breakfast was good although it was served in the sister hotel just a few steps away. The room was spacious and clean with modern decor; bed was comfortable. There was 24-hour coffee/tea available in the ground floor. We came in early spring so climate control in the room was not a problem even with the aircon off.

Not much to complain: would be more comfortable if we were given additional pillows and toiletries.

The location is perfect and very near public transportation ( main train station, trams, buses) and with many available food/supermarket locations. The room has ample space which is clean, including comfortable bed. Appreciated the coffee/tea availability 24 hours a day in the ground floor. The breakfast is delicious and complete. Entry/exit to and from the property is conveniently done online. Staff very helpful and responsive to our needs.

Very minor : 1. More pillows ( only one pillow provided per guest ) 2. Toiletries in bathroom limited to two-in-one hair/body shampoo 3. Small elevator ( could accommodate only 3 persons) and sometimes it took time to wait

Great location, easy to find, convenient for the train station , trams, Close to the centre. I was offered early check in but instead I left my luggage in the hotel on arrival . I stayed in the smaller building which was very quiet at night The single room( I booked the larger size) was bright cheerful ,easy to clean ,functional and well designed for an easy stay. The hot drinks machine downstairs was a bonus . I will happily stay here on my next trip.

I found the mattress supportive but a bit hard. As I only stayed 1 night I did not ask the hotel for help..

The place is very convenient for going around since it is close to the Zurich HB station and it is only couple minutes walk to it. A lot of fast food and restaurants available near by and around the station and the staff were very helpful. Even a starbuck nearby for any Starbuck lovers. The room is very clean.

The design for this guesthouse is most convenient and suitable for backpackers or someone that miss their train and plane to stay overnight. We stay for our vacation so it was not really fully equipped with amenities beside waters. It is quite tiny for a room holding 3 people but it is still alright. No fridge is available in the room, if you want to store any alcohols or drinks, you can ask the staff at the hotel building which is couple feet away from the guesthouse. Also, there will be a lot of people drinking and talking really loud at night so beware of that. Otherwise everything is really good

Location was very close to the Zurich train station Platform no. 18. About 3 min walk. The guest house has a coffee and tea making mavhine available round the clock with selection of teas and 2 types of coffees. This was a very positive for us. The staff were super efficient. Specially the lady during check in. She suggested breakfast and allowed us early checkin for a nominal charge. Which was so helpful after a long flight.

The guest and hotel are 2 separate buildings though very close to each other. And the reception for both is in the Hotel Building. This is not mentioned anywhere which is confusing for first time visitors. Also the location though so close by the train station it took us 30 mins reaching due to lack of instructions. Why can't someone simply ask customers to come out of platform no. 18!!!

The location is perfect: Zurich central train station is cross the street. And, it is inside city center, so you can walk to the old town areas on both sides of the river and Lake Zurich. All kinds of stores, restaurants, bars, coffee shops and the main shopping streets etc are near by. The national museum is 2 blocks away. The hotel has a few separate buildings cross the small roads to each other. There are very few cars passing by. So, this area is surprisingly very quiet. The hotel lobby has tea and coffee machine for guests 24-hour a day. We like the hotel a lot, and we could manage the small space. The location is just so good.

This beautiful 2* property is perfectly located a short walk from the main Zurich Hb railway station. It is one of 2 Fred properties in the area. It is exceptionally clean with simple but well-appointed rooms. The staff (located in the other Fred property about 20 meters away) are accessible 24/7 and very pleasant, professional and responsive. Secure luggage storage is available before check-in and after check-out. Self-check-in / check-out and digital access to the property during our stay worked flawlessly.

There are no safes in the rooms at this property (the rooms at the other nearby 3* Fred property do each have safes).

Staff! All of them are very helpful especially the reception. I have some old bank notes with me and they gave me very clear directions to the national bank change the banknote. Also they help to buy tickets for Lindt chocolate muaeum which already fully booked online. Also the free coffee and tea in the lobby area make me feel comfortable. The variety of food in the breakfast is good, though the breakfast room is a bit small. All the staff are so helpful make me feel like home and make my 1 day Zurich visit very efficient. Hotel is just next to train station. Everywhere is so easy to access

The lift is very tiny in the guest room building and you have to go thru few steps stairs in order to reach the lift. The lift facility in Fred Hotel is better than the one in Guest House. However it's very minor.
