Very helpful and friendly staff all around, from the check-in to M club to home service all amazing and helpful people.

M Club snack offerings could be improved. Very limited options for vegetarians !

Excellent service as always at Marriott hotels and I experimented a lot of 5star hotels. Marriott still is surprising me in terms of service and good and alert personal. Nice breakfast and nice restaurants, good sauna and enough equipped gym.

I have to be fair here, the new rooms are nice but a big downside from my point of view is that the windows cannot be opened not at all. I understand for big skyscrapers but here is not the case, the north wing is not a tall building. So if this is solved somehow it will be a big plus for the comfort.

The new renovated room in the new wing..are marvellous. I love it. But I only got it after complaining abt my booking. So I only get it for 1 night. The staff at thd counter handlrs it well to transfer my bags to the new room. The interior decors of the lobby, lounge & rooms especially the new wing was awesome..love it.

I was not given the correct room for the Ist night. I dont know what happen between the hotel & booking.com does not communicate well. I only realised it after the 1st night after complaining. Another thing is the location of this hotel is a bit far from the city centre & train station. We need to walk quite a distance & dangerous to cross the busy road infront of the hotel. No proper signage of alternative road crossing the river.

Close to Zurich HB, close to the Christmas markets - walking distance if adults and using trams when travelling with kids or in rainy weather. Breakfast buffet is excellent and way above the European standard in terms of choice. The quality of food is exceptionally fresh and perfectly cooked. Staff were all friendly, helpful and efficient. The walk in shower was the best. Twice the size of a standard shower. Strong water pressure. Heated bathroom floor - wonderful!

Our room didn’t really have a view (the room didn’t specify it would have a view, so not false advertising). The North wing is two lifts and a skywalk away from the reception. During busy times you may need to wait for the lift a while.

Location is great. Walking distance to center (actually it is in the center) of the city. Stunning view of the river (book the proper room for that) and the city. Good breakfast, although it can be crowded, so go there preferably before 7:45am. Very good restaurant (White Elephant) with excellent Thai cuisine. Hotel is very safe (city itself is also safe). Reception stuff skillful and there is a high probability that one of them will be speaking your language. This is the benefit of Marriott, a truly International, with American quality standards, hotel chain.

UG parking is narrow, especially at the entrance/exit, so pay attention when you are approaching, otherwise your rental company will be more than happy to charge you lots of money for scratches...

There is no safe pedestrian path in front of the hotel to cross to the opposite side. The smell of personal cleaning materials (shampoo, soap, body cream) is not good, tends to smell like medicine. The tools used to cook eggs at breakfast are the same used to cook eggs with pork, and this is not acceptable to us as Muslims. There is no variety of cheeses used for breakfast, and the types used are not desirable to us. to be frank the breakfast wasn't good enough for us. and to be honest the service was excellent by the waiters at breakfast.

We loved the Club rooms.. fits 1 adult and 2-3 children. You get access to the Club.. which offers snacks and drinks and warm food all day. So it was great when we came in tired from touring the city. Their chocolate muffins are to die for 😅 They had small fun activities for kids in the lobby area. The bell boy and concierge were very friendly, polite and helpful. If you’re interested in swimming in the river, jumping off the bridge, then the hotel location is excellent! The AC was cold which was much appreciated during the heatwave.

This is our third visit. Good location and modern tower is really good.

Suggestion to allocate floor/lifts for guests with dogs. As we are family who have allergy to pets, and we were really concerned about sharing previously occupied rooms/lifts with dogs (even though they assured us they did deep cleaning). This thing didnt make us feel comfortable in our stay.

5-8mins walk from Zurich Main Train Station. We took Uber from Zurich International Airport because we got confused at the airport after a long haul red-eye flight, and I didn't manage to decide if we wanted to self-drive. We arrived around 10 am and so surprised that the room was ready and we could check in and freshen up before going out. The room is really comfortable and I liked that there are disposable room slippers provided. This is very rare for Europe. All the staff are extremely helpful and friendly. Thank you all for making our stay a memorable one. We will definitely stay at this hotel again when we visit Zurich next time.

The bathroom is a bit cramped as the toilet paper is so closed, and I have to keep pulling the paper painstakingly slow to avoid having to roll the paper out.

The staff and location are exceptional. Also the breakfast is very good. Overall room condition is good.

A lot of basic amenities are on free request basis. Although I have not requested anything, it may be nicer to add some more items to the room on the first day then on request basis later. Also I think the room is quite cluttered especially with added baby cot and luggages. Shower screen needs fixing because it is hard and very loud to move.
