An uphill hike from the railway station but great downhill

It was quite close to the city even by foot for a good price compared to others. Room was cleaned daily and kept fresh, also water/coffee/tea was refreshed daily. Staff was really kind and helpful. The balcony was awesome for chilling and we had a nice view as well.

There were no A/C and the room was already scorching when we got there. We kept the balcony door closed the first night which was a nightmare, but after that as they said there are no mosquitoes we opened it, and it was quite alright, even chilly some nights. So it was quite alright after that, tho an A/C could be nice to have.

The staffs were very friendly and helpful. They had apples and hotel-brand candies at the reception desk that are delicious. The room was spacious and comfortable; since I travelled in 3 people, the staffs happily added a sofa bed that was really comfortable. The view from the room was great as well. The location is slight far from the center but there is a tram line close by that take you to the main station. There is also a convenient store next to the hotel with some great options for pastries and other food. The only problem we encountered was the internet connection was pretty unstable; I kept being disconnected while make reservation for my trip. I did tell the staffs, but the issues remained throughout the stay.

The hotel itself was excellent — the location is beautiful, and the staff were truly wonderful, always friendly and helpful.

But unfortunately, there were a couple of things that made my stay less enjoyable. First, there was no air conditioning, and since I stayed during the summer, the room was extremely hot and uncomfortable. I wouldn’t repeat the experience in such weather. Also, on Booking it said that parking was available, but it didn’t mention that there’s an extra charge of 20 CHF per day. That was disappointing to find out only after I arrived.

Due to some plumbing problems we could not stay at Leonardo Boutique Hotel. They managed us to their other branch near the airport, which was quite nice. We arrived late and stayed just for one night. The next day we headed again to Leonardo Boutique to leave our luggage and explore the city. The location is great to reach the city center by walk and the staff was very nice.

Having to go back to the airport region due to communication problems and plumbing problems was not good, but they managed everything and we could enjoy our stay.

Great location, tram passes outside making it easy to get to different locations. Very friendly staff who made us feel comfortable and helpful in giving directions. Very clean. Breakfast, could be better if hot breakfast can be included.

When you book on booking.com it says breakfast available. Be aware, it doesn't mean the breakfast is included in the total you pay. You have to purchase breakfast at the hotel and it was an inconvenience. Front desk staff didn't clarify this during check in.

The locations is perfect if you move with public transports . The parking is a problem. It’s not possible to make a reservation for a parking lot and it’s impossibile to find a space because the hotel o my has a few parking spots. They talk about public parking but it’s only for two hours so you have to constantly move the car or pay a fine tickets of 40CHF. The staff is super friendly, the hotel has everything you might need. Quiet place. The only thing I can say about the room is that the bed is definitely too small for two adults but for one night is good.

Small basin in the bathroom, which was mostly covered by a shelf above it, so it was difficult to use, very awkward to clean teeth, impossible to wash hair in it. Rather pathetic tiny plastic cactuses on the dining tables, for what purpose I do now know.

The guys at reception were super friendly and helpful at check in and throughout. Really genuine and kind. The balcony overlooking the church was great too and a nice 2km stroll to the lake and Altstadt. Cafes, pubs, supermarket and laundrymat all super close.

Not having Aircon on hot summer days when not used to fans. It's only a small portion of the year that they're needed and it is an old building. I had an agreed check out time of 12pm. The lady who appeared to be the Manager (at check out) called my room six minutes before I was due to check out and spoke in a perceived condescending, passive aggressive manner which was not appropriate.

Good location a bit off the city centre, but on the tram line that leads to the airport. Despite the heat wave the room had been ventilated well enough for the temperature to drop enough to make sleeping a pleasant experience. Comfortable bed and very quiet room. Decent breakfast that was available until 10:30, with very nice fruits. Very good experience with the reception.

A bit expensive, since the building showed its age on certain doors etc. But maybe that's the price for Zurich.
