We loved the concept, in the photo we only see the blue building but the rooms are not in this building, the rooms are in a yard so it gives a holiday vacation vibe, we really loved this. We were traveling with our dog, the staff was very friendly to him (he is a very big dog, so it was really nice), there are a lot of trees just a few meters away from the hotel. Nearby there are tram stations and a train station so we didn’t have to use our car, it really helps for visiting Zurich.

It is just a small detail, maybe add some curtains to the windows near the ceiling, in summer the sun is up very early and it can be very sunny in the room.

Easy access from the train station and to the city center and the lake.Welcoming staff,excellently explained everything about our stay,we checked in earlier which was very convinient.A different aspect of hotel which i liked very much,comfortable and ergonomic room and bathroom.The fan and the radio were nice touches,the breakfast was satisfying.We enjoyed our stay very much.

A refrigerator is needed especially in summer and i would prefer omelette or scrambled eggs in breakfast instead of boiled eggs but this is a matter of taste.

An interesting hotel, attached to a restaurant. Comfortable bed, slippers, very good natural cosmetics and tea in the room. The breakfast is big with a variety of sweet and salty products. Walking distance from the main station, but also a tram stop around the corner.

Weird solution to have a window in the ceiling, there is too much light in the room early in the morning. Would be nice to have an iron.

The location was superb! There are tram and bus stops within a 1-minute walk from the hotel. It is also conveniently located for taxi drop-offs and pick-ups, which I used on my way to and from the hotel (Zurich Flughafen/ airport or Zurich HauptBanhof (HB)/ train station). The airport is about 15 minutes by taxi while the train station is about 10 minutes. My flight landed early in the morning and the hotel was full, so I could not check in when I arrived there. However, there was ample space to store my belongings while I took a tour of the city and came back to check in at 3 pm. I got a free upgrade from the hotel and so was given one of the standalone "container-style" rooms. The room itself was on the grounds, with many others around it. The bed and bathroom was on the ground level and there was a small mezzanine above, with a couch, TV, a desk/chair, and a lovely view of the back gardens. A nice mini-forest was within the grounds, with chairs set up to enjoy the view. The staff were quite helpful and kind. I recommend this place!

Breakfast was very basic for the price. It is served afternoon tea-style, with a tower of mainly cold dishes, including Bircher muesli, deli meat cuts, cheese, a croissant, and some bread, butter, and jams. I wish there were some hot dishes prepared as it was rainy and cold when I was there and I longed for an omelet or sausages. You have to prepare boiled eggs yourself. Coffee or tea is served by the ladies at reception. There is no A/C in the rooms but there is a huge floor-standing fan. I am not used to this style of ventilation, so unfortunately with the air blowing directly in my face at night, I got a bit of a sore throat the next day.

Really lovely, stylish little hotel. We loved staying here! The desk staff were super friendly and the room was simple, clean and really quiet. It is about a 20min walk from the centre of town but there are buses, trams and trains nearby if your legs get tired. Easy to get to the Uetilberg look-out point and trendy Industrial Quarter. Also a yoga studio on-site and a fabulous Thai restaurant that is also recommended. Good value in an expensive city!

If you're planning a trip to Zurich and looking for a comfortable and stylish stay, the Greulich Design Hotel is an excellent choice! We spent a few nights at this hotel recently, and I must say I was thoroughly impressed. The hotel is situated in a fantastic spot, with easy access to all the city has to offer. The hotel is also conveniently located near Tram / Bus Stops, making it easy to explore the city. Our room itself  was another highlight, It was beautifully designed and super clean, the bed was comfortable, the bathroom was clean and modern. Greulich offers a wide range of fresh and healthy options available at breakfast. From freshly baked bread & Pastries to a selected range of cheese and vegetarian options. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles and helpful advice about what to see and do in Zurich. Overall, I can't recommend this Hotel highly enough

Really liked this hotel, great design with lots of space, very clean quiet and comfortable with friendly staff in a convenient location walkable to Zurich centre. The restaurant at the hotel is also really nice and they had an amazing chef designed epic sandwich menu initiative whilst I was there which was a very cool and innovative idea and super executed - delicious sandwiches available all day!

Room was a little hot as there was no aircon but they do provide a fan so it's manageable

Well designed hotel with plenty of amenities matching the 'boutique' price. Access to internal courtyard, Breakfast was delicious and nicely presented. Staffs are very friendly and helpful. Free bicycle rental.

Window with visual to look out is a little small but the access to courtyard made up to it. Plus there are other windows to allow the natural light in so it doesn't feel to restrictive.

Great location regarding what we wanted to visit in Zurich, having a parking spot (even if it was not for free) was really nice, the architecture and originality of the hotel was great. We also had the possibility to borrow 4 bikes for free, which was great to ride around the city.

People on duties are wonderful, outside and inside design of the hotel and room (except the bathroom), yard, garden, restaurant, breakfast are great! Cozy and nice!

The design of the room is not as comfortable as it is beautiful - the shower is small and the water goes across the floor from the shower to the toilet, it does not dry out, the open space for the bath is also not a very convenient solution, it's cold when you leave after a shower, you can't hang towels and a bathrobe on a hanger or hooks they just don't exist! No fridge or minibar and no coffee machine. These are all very small, but necessary little things for 100% comfort.
