I’m someone who adjusts my ratings based on what I’m paying rather than on standards I’ve developed over time. For short stays, I’m always looking for the best deals with good quality, and that’s exactly what Züri provides. The hotel isn’t fancy, but the accommodations were good, clean, and organized. The staff is kind, and the 12 pm check-out is great. They even allowed us an early check-in! Highly recommended!

The room was initially a bit smelly when we first got in, but it wasn’t a huge problem!

Room is clean, Location is good - very short walk from tram stop. Breakfast is okay.

Small hiccup while reaching the hotel for the first time. No clear directions on how to reach the hotel when you get down at nearest Tram stop. We reached 1 hour early and were asked to wait. If the rooms are available, they could have accommodated us. At least the staff could have tried and I felt they don't even seem to care.

Room looked like brand new and it was very well equipped. Nice big shower. Location very convenient, close to public transportation.

Very pricey. $$$ Big window to the inner yard against other houses right next to the toilet seat is a bit creepy, but luckily a curtain is provided. The room itself was a bit small, but enough.

Just loved the size, windows to open wide for air, quiet and relaxing environment.

Single duvets not great for long bodies on double/twin bed, I think it’s a Swiss thing, I solved it by using both single duvets horizontally with an overlap about a third of the way down the bed. The safe and fridge are in one built in unit with no ventilation, so the safe is really hot inside, and not good to put iPads etc inside. I got round it by leaving the door of the unit open which significantly cooled the safe down, and I turned my iPad off before storing it to avoid any overheating/damage. I have written to Fassbind about this issue as I believe it to be a design failure in what is a super hotel.

The hotel is located a bit outside the centre but is easily reachable by tram or S-Bahn from the main station. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is equipped with elevators, which are rather quick and silent. The room numbers are on the bottom of the doors, which took me a while to discover. The room was well-equipped, and I loved the delayed turning off of the lights after the removal of the keycard from the wall slot. Also has plenty of outlets, and even has international plug sockets at the table.

For me, the room was very hot, even with the radiator turned all the way down. The hair dryer is located under the sink and has a fixed cable. I'm about 180cm tall , but the cable wasn't long enough to lift the dryer above my head, which was a bit annoying.

This was an overnight stay to attend a concert, very close by, at Bogen F. Such a cool location with the viaduct, the Markethalle and many bars and restaurants, yet it was quiet. Our room was spacious, the bathroom had lots of room. Our bed was too soft but that’s our personal opinion. Tea/coffee facilities, iron & board, hairdryer, well laid out room. Staff at the reception desk were super friendly, especially Dominic in the evening. Parking was accessed at the back of the hotel and was underneath, 25chf for the stay. The late check-out, 12 noon, was appreciated after a late night on the town.

Staff is really friendly. Lobby and room were clean. The district is calm and only a few steps away you can find fancy restaurants underneath the viaduct or get entertainment in the cinema just across the street. Easy to get to the city center either 20-30 mins walk or with public transport just around the corner.

The white bed linen was covered in black fluff/lint. The cables of the hair dryer were sticking out dangerously, so we preferred not to use it in order to avoid an electric shock. On the 7th floor, one could open the window completely without any barrier to prevent from jumping out/dropping things. Rooms are not very sound proof you can easily hear your neighbors.

The hotel exceeded all my expectations! The room was absolutely excellent—spacious, spotless, and equipped with all the modern amenities I could ask for. The attention to detail in the room's design and cleanliness truly made it feel like a home away from home. The location couldn’t have been better. It was perfectly situated, with easy access to key attractions, restaurants, and transportation. Whether I wanted to explore the city or just relax nearby, everything was conveniently close. 12 min walk to the Christmas market in the Central Train Station and about 10 min tram ride to the Main Christmas Market As for value, this place was incredible! The combination of outstanding service, exceptional room quality, and prime location made it a phenomenal deal. I felt like I got much more than I paid for. Overall, my stay was amazing—I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and memorable experience.

Nothing at all

Good sized room. Clean and moderately modern furnishings. Right outside a tram station so easy to get to places. There is also a small sauna and gym in the basement. They were good to give us 3 key cards for a triple room without us requesting for the 3rd and without extra charges. When we checked into the room they had already turned the Aircon on for us which was thoughtful.

Breakfast selection was limited especially in hot meals. The door to the bathroom in the rooms are those glass ones that don't close fully meaning you don't have full privacy - don't know why a lot of hotels seem to do this but not ideal if you're travelling with a group.

The hotel was very well located, 1 station away from Zurich Main Station, in Hardbrucke. Theres plenty of supermarkets around, cafes and also a kebab place opened 24h. 5 minutes walk to Hive club and 10 minutes walk to Letten River hotspot area with bars and restaurants along the river promenade. Tramway also located 2 minutes walk from the hotel where you can go to other parts of the city. Rooms were super fresh, loved the bathroom and very good wifi and air-conditioning. I will come back.

I found the single beds not very comfortable, cause they were beside the wall, but I guessed its a matter of space. The only real thing was the first pillow I used, it kind of smelled weird, but i took the other one in the closet and that one was fine.
