Location was Awesome. Take M6( stairs) or Z2( Lift) exit from Taipei Main Station and you're already 2 mins away from the doorstep of the hostel. Receptionists were friendly and room was clean with BASIC facilities. Shared hot water shower and toilet facilities were in working order. Place not suitable for wheelchairs and strollers. Wi-Fi and TV were in working order and that helped being connected during the Typhoon Day on 3/8/23. Convenience stores, basement eateries, Cosmed pharmacies all sprouted within the hostel area... National Taiwan Museum and Natural History Museum all within walking mins.

Room with Windows would be my personal preference. Male and female toilets/shower facilities in very close proximity. More areas to chill and relax would be great.

Location for price cannot be beaten, and the actual accomodations far exceeded what I would've expected with all things considered. Also eally liked the bed and the bathroom design, though I should maybe add that my partner and I are pretty comfortable with eachother (you'll hear everything).

I liked the room, but my partner felt the lack of a window combined with the choice in paint and brick wallpaper made it feel a little like a prison cell. There were also parts of the room that didn't look like they'd been cleaned in a while, but we only discovered them while looking for something we misplaced so really no biggy.

The location was superb, just a few steps away from M6. The internet connection was excellent especially at the lobby's lounge and work area. We arrived super late, good thing, this hotel has 24-hour front desk.

The price of the room was bit high-priced for a "shared-bathroom with no-window type". The cost of my tiny single bed room with shared bath can be equalled to a nice looking Lyf Hotel in Fukuoka with ensuite bathroom. There was a peculiar smell inside my room, at the shower area and at the hallway. My lady companions who were billeted in a triple room said there was no bidet in the female toilet.

Such helpful staff! My tour group got cancelled and i also cannot make up my mind how to plan my 2 weeks in taiwan in different cities. The staff really spent so much time listening to me, looked at typhoon forecast prediction, listen to my interests and concerts, and made suggestions. Room is cute, compact and stylish, can choose rooms to include washroom, wifi is good throughout the 2 floors, cute lobby area, prime location walking distance from taipei main station. Very high value and great pricing.

When using the basin, it is easy to spill to the counter as it is small, behind the sink is moldy, toilet roll dispenser doesn’t hold the paper well, nowhere to hang and dry hand washed clothing and the post wash smell spreads slightly although not a deal breaker

The staff can help you out with everything and can speak Chinese, English and more languages. The location is next to the japanese street and the Main Station Metro M6. There are many shopping centers nearby (difficult to find) like the k underground, city mall and others. 7-11 are on every corner. Metro is reachable in 3 min as well as the High Speed Rail.

The hotel was quite clean, although there are things like the top of mirror frames, which are not been cleaned on a regular basis. The rooms have no noise cancelling to other people and the alarm clock as well as to the outside. Nevertheless the town will get silent around 0:30 AM.

The receptionist is lovely, the beds are comfortable; the common area is very relaxing and is set up very well. It is in a great location, very close to Taipei Main Station.

I can't think of anything I didn't like. It was not just exactly what I was looking for, it even exceeded my expectations. The only thing is that some rooms do not have windows, which could be considered a positive as you don't hear the hustle and bustle of the streets when you are sleeping.

The location is great, just next to taipei main station. The staff was nice and helpful. It was clean, provided sheets and towels and slippers and water bottle. Bed comfortable.

There’s a bit of a smell, especially in the room without the window. Running the aircon for a bit makes it better. Very small room. No soundproofing whatsoever, you can hear the person in the other room moving in bed and snoring. But I traveled all over Taiwan and honestly, this will be the case most places this price range.

The location is right next to the main station from which you can take high speed train to different cities. It has a nice social area not many people hanging out there but I liked to spend time there before sleeping. People are very friendly and helpful. You can leave your bags before or after check in safely at the reception. I happen to be there at the moment when the big earthquake happend and I can tell that even though it was very scary building seemed to be safe to me. I think its such a nice option in the city center of Taipei.

Could have been a bit more social maybe some ice breaker small events would be nice to meet other guests.

For the price, the accommodation was very decent. I also really liked that it was just opposite Taipei Main Station so getting to places was very convenient. It was also situated at an open street with a Family Mart right downstairs, so walking back to the hotel at night alone felt safe.

There were renovations happening around 10am, but it belonged to other tenants in the building so understandably it can’t be controlled by the hotel. Also walls are thin so you might hear muffled conversations from your next door neighbour. Still, as a fairly light sleeper I was able to get a good sleep.

Excellent location for access to Taipei Main Station, which was the reason that we chose to stay here. Lots to do in the area and plenty of places to eat nearby. This place was good value for money for the price that we paid.

The room was very stuffy, but we knew this would be the case as we booked the room with no window. The bathroom could definitely be cleaner. The soundproofing is pretty bad, you can hear people talking in the neighbouring rooms. For a one night budget stay this place is fine, but I wouldn't reccomend it for a long stay in Taipei.
