Just next to Taipei station, exit M3, very convenient.

Aircon is not temperature adjustable. It still very cold even we set at Low. Hotel room sound insulation not very good, everybody walking by we can hear very clearly, you need earplugs to sleep.

The accommodation is located right next to Taipei Main Station which allowed for easy access to transportation. The central hub is connected to local and express trains, high speed rail trains, the subway, and underground malls. The room itself is spacious enough for families carrying luggage. There are some useful items such as hairdryers, clothes fresheners, and kettles. Air conditioning and light could be controlled from a wall panel. There was a television to watch local channels. Wifi is provided and very fast. A smart speaker was available on a night stand though we did not use it. Toilet had a bidet function. The hotel had 3 elevators, which was very helpful for entering and exiting the building. This makes a huge difference when you are carrying luggage with others.

I did not find any problems and was quite pleased. Pricing is fair but of course any traveler would want to save on accommodations.

A shout out to people of Taiwan, friendly and kindest! They made our first visit a memorable one. There was this lady at an organic shop beside the 7-11, opp the Houshanpi stn. She showed us how to get to a shop that sells fermented tofu, a neighbour asked us to find for her. Then when we reached the Zhongxiao Fuxing mrt, the guard there gave us an accurate instruction that helped us to find the place without problem. Many more instances when we travelled to the old streets and night streets, the people we met left an impression that Taiwan is prosperous with her people. The hotel staffs were friendly and helpful, especially the housekeeping team👍🏼who checked on us if we need any help daily. We enjoyed our stay. Thank you.

When we arrived at the hotel it was very busy with numerous guests being checked in, but it didn’t feel crowded because the lobby was spacious. The receptionist that greeted us was friendly, understood English and welcomed us with drinks from the café. The elevator was fast, quiet, and there was a beautifully decorated elevator lobby on our floor. The breakfast buffet was Asian and Western cuisine set up at various food stations (salad, fresh fruit and bread, hot dishes, congee, Taiwanese noodles and drinks). Also, if you like meeting new people, you have the option to share a table at breakfast. The room was quiet, clean and had a bidet. The location of the hotel was close to restaurants and the hotel had its own restaurant, coffee shop and bakery. We found the hotel very easily by taking the M3 exit from the Taipei Main Station. I chose this hotel because I wanted to end our trip to Taiwan on a positive note and treat ourselves to a plusher stay. I would stay here again.

We found the bathroom a little small (crowded). It was nice having the fancy toilet with bidet, but its location prevented us from accessing the front of the sink. We ended up standing to the left of the sink to access the faucet. This might only apply to room 605.

The staff immediately found us another room after we found the air conditioner in the room we were allocated did not work. The hotel was old fashioned in a good way and the décor remined us of 1960s James Bond movie. The staff were helpful, formal and professional. The breakfast was fantastic, the best breakfast on our trip around Taiwan with lots of choice if you are gluten intolerant.

There was nothing particularly unlikeable. The combination of the smell of cleaning products and high humidity was unpleasant. It rained most of the week that we stayed and we were unable to open the window.

Absolutely beautiful hotel, the reception and foyer were stunning. The staff were fantastic, the Taiwanese people are so polite, they're a very proud, very clean nation and that's commendable. The room was gorgeous, the bathroom was lovely, the hot water was hot but not overly. The restaurants were good but the food (this is the same in every Asian country I've visited) is never hot enough to be served by Australian standards, especially breakfasts. Quality, quantity and taste were all fine but somewhat cold. Apart from that I recommend the Cosmos Hotel in Taipei as the place to stay when holidaying in Taiwan. You won't be disappointed.

You would love the luxurious look of Cosmos. The location to Taipei Main Station is key. You have access to every transportation there. Hotel willing to hold your luggage before and after check in. They will provide bottled water daily. Love the tea bags. Safe available. Daily housekeeping. So if you don't leave your room by 10-10:30 am you may get a call from front desk asking if you need room service . Just be prepared to tell them what time to come so if you need room cleaned that day. Free drink coupon to the attached cafe was a bonus treat upon check in. You need to use your room key to access elevator up but not down . Staff always around to answer questions with a smile on their face. Free tea available in lobby daily .Restaurants inside hotel but I did not try any. Buses were sometimes an easier and faster mode of transportation then the trains. Google maps only worked maybe effectively 95 percent of the time . But may have a hard time using bus if not using Google map to help you know when to press the button to get off. I usually, press the bus stop button once it departs the stop right before the stop I want to get off at. But you need to start your Directions once on bus so Google can track where you are. Click on the number if stops on Google map and you can see the arrow showing your bus movement . Directions and signage in Taipei Main Station could be better. You can use your visa or MasterCard to pay for Airport Express only but not on their bus and train system. You still need to buy an Easy card . Which you can buy right by the turnstiles before you enter the Airport Express. You need cash to pay for the Easy Card. You use it buy tapping in them tapping to get out at destination. But I found it easier to just buy an Easy card and use it to pay for the Airport Express the since I already went to the BOT Bank of Taiwan ATM after I picked up my luggage. We put TWD 1000 and it was enough to pay for 4 days of constant travel .

You will love the luxurious feel of Cosmos Hotel . Nothing I didn't like about it.

Close to subway to get to night markets, and high speed rail, and TRA to get to various places. Also a big station, which I didn't use. The underground areas when getting to the MRT/TRA is filled with food shops. Also recommend early on in visit, an easy walk to Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall, probably past 228 Peace Memorial Park, to get familiar with the area on the other side of Zhongxiao Road. There are a couple of unique 7-11s with Snoopy and Hello Kitty themes in that area in walking distance. When leaving, had no trouble taking the MRT to Taoyuan International Airport. Location made it easy to scout out the route to Airport MRT gate the night before our trip (quite a walk away). Didn't have problems with noise.

Gaudy interior. Rooms a little small. But functional. Morning buffet is just OK, but convenient with kids. Great location. Air conditioning too cold, and unadjustable. Use more blankets.

The location is great with Metro, Airport and Local Trains … Metro M3 exit is the one to find and it even has its own name listed. There are only two very small steps to navigate from the airport tram to the hotel, all flat or via escalators or wheelchair ramps.

Unfortunately our room had what sounded like construction noises and equipment being dragged across the floor. According to the staff there were no works going on but this was constant and loud in the evening going beyond midnight. If it was not for this the ratings would be higher.

The location of the hotel is unbeatable. It is situated just a few meters from one of the exits (M3) of the Taipei Main Station and Metro station. This location is very convenient for sightseeing the town by train or metro. The room was clean, spacious and had all necessary facilities. Our room was overlooking the beautiful building of the Main Station. There was a great variety of dishes for breakfast according to every taste and cuisine. The staff were kind, polite and friendly.

I have no negative remarks about the hotel. I liked both - the room and the location. I would gladly recommend Cosmos Hotel to everybody travelling to Taipei.
