A lovely guesthouse which makes you believe you're in the countryside. Wooden floor, spacious communal area, calm and the "garden" area are the perfect setup to get relax and peace in mind. The manager, her husband feels like they were my parents (in the good term) and the cleaning lady are lovely. I surely miss the cleaning lady which keeps me company every morning. It felt like being home. Light breakfast on morning which consists coffee, tea, chocolate milk, milk, cereals, biscuits. Water dispenser hot/cold at your disposition. Very close to the MRT (train/tube), buses, amnesties and area to visit. As you would understand and expect, it is a guesthouse to relax, read, and chill. It is not for the usual backpacker, no parties, no group or night owls.

Nothing appart an Italian woman "Karen" in our door room... please don't be a Karen, please respect others as it has to be mutual.

This property was great. The host was super friendly and kind and kept our luggage after checkout since we had a night bus. The place is very clean and reminded me of the beautiful ryokan houses in japan. There are lots of common spaces where you can relax as long as you are mindful of other guests and keep the noice down during the night. We also got some complementary breakfast snacks, that were really handy during some busy visiting days.

The room we booked is with an outside private bathroom. For us it was not a problem since it was across the hallway, but it might be for some people. So take a good look at the type of room you book.

I have never stayed in Hostel. This was my first experience. I was a bit skeptical. But I was so happy with this Hostel that I extended my stay. Fortunately there were hardly any guests, so it seemed like the room was just for me. Extremely clean and well organized. Supetb location. They even had coffee and cornflakes for breakfast which I wasn't expecting.

Everything I liked except I could not stay longer, because it was prebooked by others. 😂 I had to choose another hostel. So this is my loss.

The location was excellent to navigate, easy to find and a walking distance from Sukhumvit MRT exit 2 soi Sukhumvit 23 (Prasanmit). The reception manager was helpful and detailed in the check-in process and the friendly housekeeping lady would do your bed and replenish fresh towel for you daily. The Bunk Bed in Mixed Dormitory Room has an all surround privacy curtain which is unique and there were 2 toilets and showers in the Mixed dorm room. The guesthouse has a nice front garden and reception area.

The wooden flooring of the room was a bit squeaky which speaks of the age of the property. There are a few empty art frames in the room that should be removed or be filled with colorful pictures to improve the aesthetic look of the room.

Super friendly staff. This hostel had a lovely decor. Open Japanese almost in style. Comfortable beds and great air conditioning. Warm, powerful showers. Good privacy. Two lockers. Good security. Basic but nice breakfast. Toast or cereal. It's super close to the MRT Sukhumvit and BTS Asoke transport links. 5 mins walk. Soi Cowboy is also only 5 mins away. Nice bars and restaurants on the hostels Street away. Recommended this hostel. I stayed around the corner at Asoke Revolution Hostel before which was really terrible compared to House 23.

Cash only. That's OK. Must hostels here are like that but card option would be amazing but only a little thing. Plus maybe suggest a small shelf about the head board to keep you things in the bed area with you.

The staff were extremely nice and welcoming. The room was cleaned daily. The bed was comfortable. There is an awesome street market at the university 1km north, metro station 1km south and nice places to eat nearby.

Personal bias of the location being ground zero of a red light district - which is in the direction of the metro - for those into that scene this will be a bonus, just not my cup of tea.

the location is extremely convenience

-the room is clean but sometime i can see cockroach pass by. -the room just beside reception -sound proof is not that good, so morning will heard the owner chatting with the staff

The location and it felt like a home when I stayed there. The reception was so kind and nice.

Squeaky floor (parquet) and it was connecting rooms with renovations? I’m not so sure but yeah the wall was super thin, heard guests next door were talking and such and you can here people talking and music outside so if you are a light sleeper, that’d be a big problem

It was very easy to walk everywhere from this location. 3mins walk to the MRT station, coffee shops, restaurants & bars all on the same street. The staff we're extremely helpful and the rooms were deep cleaned every morning. Would highly recommend this hostel.

The location is awesome. If you stay in that area everything is noisy except this area where you cannot hear noises and can walk peacefully. The care taker is so good that you will be greeted very well. With all the basic amenities in place you this place will not disappoint you.
