Location was perfect. Short walk to 711, massages and markets. The sparklingly clean pool was perfect way to start and end the day for us. Fresh pool towels were available all the time. The room was compact, but it had everything we wanted and needed. A balcony to dry clothes. Water (hot)pressure of the shower was great, bed was very comfortable and 2 pillows! Staff were amazing a special shout out to Fah she went above and beyond to help us. No request was to hard, she was so helpful. Thank you. Breakfast... something for everyone hot cold fruit was great. This restaurant, I ordered a dish, one staff member saw how I was struggling with the spice immediately the chef came out and asked if she could take some spice out. She did and wow I was amazed, so delicious. Was delicious before she tweeked it even better that I didn't struggle. They offer bag storage free for the day of checkout. You know have to checkout at 11 but flight isn't till 8pm. Saves lugging it with you. Then if you need to it's only 30bht a day if you need extended storage. So, if you wanted to go somewhere else without taking everything great way to explore other places.

Room was ok but a little small as was the bathroom. Reasonably clean. The whole place is a little dated but overall wasn't too bad. The pool was very clean and just right on a warm day but can be a bit crowded. Breakfast was good but it was the same everyday. The room is only serviced when requested though water and toilet paper can be picked up at reception. Plenty of food and markets just at the back of the property that are a couple of minutes walk and always very busy. All of the staff were very nice and friendly.

The bed was too hard. Even my wife who is Chinese and usually likes a firm bed said it was too hard.

Friendly helpful and accomodating staff. Restaurant hours, breakfast and pool are great. Short walk to Khao San and River, close to coffee shop, cafes, bars and National Gallery.

The room temperature was too cold and noisy with the airconditioning on so I had to sleep with the window open so mosquitos were a problem some nights.

Excellent location just off Soi Rambuttri, close to loads of great options for eating/drinking. Nice buffet breakfast with plenty of choice. Rooms are tired and in need of renovation. We booked two rooms and one smelled strongly of drains. The best thing about the place is the staff. The lovely ladies on reception were so kind, efficient and helpful. 10 out of 10. For us, the pros outweigh the cons. We'd definitely return (in fact, we are returning to stay again at the end of the month), but I wouldn't recommend it to others, if you know what I mean.

Old rooms in need of renovation.

All the staff I interacted with were very friendly and helpful. There was plenty of hot water for the shower. The air conditioning worked well. The room had a fridge, kettle, coffee sachets, tea bags, TV, hair dryer and a safe. The room was provided with 2 x 500ml bottles of water per day on request. The balcony was accessed by stepping over the sliding door frame. The pool is quite a good size. The breakfast included fruit, yoghurts, some cereal, bread, butter, jam/marmalade, french toast, pancakes, eggs (fried and scrambled), sausages, hot meat and vegetable dishes. Coffee, tea and fruit juice were also available. The property has a restaurant/bar that offers good value food and drink. The property is quiet but in a good location to access good local restaurants/bars as well as the more raucous Khao San area

I feel the property offers very good value for money but could do with some redecoration and brightening up. Where I styed in room 4203 the back of the bathroom door could do with repainting. Other reviewers bemoan the lack of daily house keeping but it is available if requested.

The room was newly refurbished with a small but functional shower room. Nice pool with a few sun loungers. There was a decent selection on the breakfast buffet, and the restaurant food was delicious. Very close to the river and hop on/off ferry, sunset and evening cruises. The lovely relaxing Rambuttri Alley was 5 minutes walk away and lively Koa San road about 10 mins. Nice hotel in a good area.

The balcony housed 1 chair and the aircon unit. It was too small to be functional.

The place is strategically located near Sanam Luang our primary interest. The reserved parking lot is very convenient. The coolness of the room is evenly distributed as the air conditioner draft is not facing the bed. Yes, I like the evenings as it's quiet for resting after a long day.

The difficulty in driving on a very small adjacent private road as stopping is not allowed on the main road. The pool is not applicable to young children as it's more for adult. The LCD television seems outdated but we don't find use for it anyway.

The hotel is very well placed in the old town close to pier so you can easily take the boat and go to different tourist attractions. Also close to sightseeing bus so quite good central location. The hotel overall is very nice the room is clean and modern and the best the food is very good as well, quality and price. I would say there are the lowest prices in the area. The breakfast is divers and also good quality.

There were some people slamming the doors, and I could hear the neighbors who were complaining during the night, but this doesn't depend on the hotel, or maybe sound isolation is missing. But after midnight, it was quiet.

Fruits and juices in breakfast were good. Staff also helping and friendly. Restaurant area in the morning has a good vibe nearby the pool. The area surrounding the stay also has convenience stores and medical stores nearby to buy things. Staff were quite friendly with helping with directions of the surrounding area.

Had some issues with wifi. In breakfast, there is limited options for vegetarians to select from.

We've stayed here many times over the years. The location is excellent, the rooms comfortable enough, and breakfast is offered. Many dining options are within a five minute walk. Access to the Chao Phraya River ferry is close by, and the 53 bus just outside the door can take you to Chinatown, Hualamphong train station and some of the typical sights. Note, the superior rooms are worth the extra money.
