Great location for people who don’t was to be super close to the busy/hectic areas of Bangkok but in walking distance to great bars and close to the river for the ferry, making it easy to get around. Bar/restaurant area was great too.

We booked a deluxe room, these are the rooms with bathrooms. Just be aware not all rooms have showers and toilets in them - check before you book. Air con was hit and miss.

The location was amazing, super close to the nightlife, all restaurants, shops and massage parlours but off a side road so you don’t hear the noise. The pool area was awesome . We weren’t sure what to expect after reading some negative reviews but we loved the hotel . The bed was actually comfy, not like most Thai beds . The staff were friendly and the room was clean. Would definitely stay here again.

The bathroom set up is a bit weird as you go onto the balcony to get to it but we thought it was sort of cool . It does need a renovation or clean up as it’s outdated and has some ants.

The swimming pool had to much chlorine in and bleached all our swimming stuff and burnt my sons face

Great location, a few minutes walk to the main busy part of Khaosan but just far enough away that you couldn’t even hear it when sat by the pool. Room was spacious and clean. Staff all friendly and helpful. Good pool table and great swimming pool to chill out in.

Can’t think of anything negative. Only issue I had was going in the pool with silver jewellery on, the pool water is high chlorine and tarnished some of the silver but that’s mostly my fault for wearing jewellery in the pool anyway.

Great location - lots of great bars and restaurants nearby, close to the pier, close to Khoa SAN Rd, although we preferred Ram Buttri Rd. Lobby/Restaurant was welcoming. Breakfast options were limited but we liked it, although the “toast” was bread (turn up the setting a bit!) Coffee and tea was good (although they charged for coffee refills). Restaurant staff were very friendly. Rooms were comfortable, beds and pillows were good. Swimming pool was great - nice size and good seating. Had everything we needed for our 4 night stay.

Downside was minor… Toast was too light and charged for coffee refills. No elevator. Shower mounts were at an awkward angle so had to hold the shower head to get decent coverage.

The hotel was well located, within walking distance to several restaurants and attractions. The front-desk staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. A bigger room with bigger balcony became available after our 1st night stay and they moved us over at no extra cost. Room was very clean, with comfortable bed and clean linen. As we were there just to relax, we didn't require room make-up on 5 of the 6 days. Restaurant had a good menu, we had breakfast and it was very good and value for money. Thank you Wild Orchid for a memorable stay.

Not negative, just constructive feedback. The internet wasn't stable all the time and the TV was also not "connected" at some times. This was not a major issue for us. The property's interior, outside of the rooms, could do with a fresh coat of paint, and there was some clutter around, i.e. brooms etc, which we assume was still being used, but did not look appealing in the front/reception area. We didn't frequent the restaurant or bar as it lacked a "vibe" to attract compared to the other restaurants in the surrounds.

- Big room with very comfortable beds - Kettle, Coffee, tea and water in the room - Good Wi-Fi coverage and Internet speed - Bathroom have all accessories: shower gel, cap, etc. - Silent street around the hotel which has lots of cafes and bars

- little bit noise behind the door when smb pass the room and talking - No elevator in hotel (be ready to go upstairs with small stair steps). If you heave heavy luggage it could be not so easy to bring it on 5th floor. - Poor breakfast on the morning

Location is perfect, 5mins walk from the very busy KS road, there's enough action to keep it interesting but not too hectic. Staff is amazing, extremely helpful. The night shift lady spent a long time trying to print my boarding pass, but she was determined to get it sorted. The waiter was very helpful with general advice. Staying 5+nights allows you a free taxi from the airport. Just wish the food was more interesting, kitchen staff are great but its always empty, just a shame, but their main business seems to be the rooms. Feels safe and secure. Overall, there may or may not be better places around, but I for sure will be staying here again

Getting more people in to eat would energise this place

Budget accommodation in a quiet area. Close to khoa san road and transit options. Bed was very comfortable. Water pressure in the shower is great! Overall a great place to stay.

Was there during the low season so the the bar / restaurant wasn't open which didn't create a warm/welcoming atmosphere. Hallway noise (talking, doors slamming) is easily heard in the room. No view from balcony.

We really loved our stay at Wild Orchid Villa. The room was neat and clean, and had air-con, with a little balcony. Perfect down-to-earth place to sleep, eat, swim, or have a drink, and you’re right in heart of the quieter, interesting lanes full of street food, stalls, and ice cold beer.

It would be nice to have a chair or two on the balcony to sit on.
