Although the room we booked was small, there was plenty of storage space, which made moving around the room easy. The guest house was in the heart of the old city, but is tucked away in a quiet alley just far enough from the main street to avoid most of the noise. The beds were quite comfy, not too hard, but not super squishy. Room and bathroom were very clean. The AC worked and wasn’t noisy either. Staff were very responsive over Booking.com messaging. There are sometimes cats in the lobby but they don’t go into the guest rooms. We had the privilege of getting to meet all three kitties!

Excellent host who is very friendly and goes out of her way to help. Room was spacious, very clean and had everything we needed, such as kettle, tv, air con, fridge and lovely shower area. Bed was soooo comfortable, far better than the hard beds we encountered in Bangkok. The guesthouse is on a quiet side road just off a main road, and we didn't hear the traffic at night. Very close to the Sunday walking market. We liked the location as it was central enough to walk to all sides and corners of the old town within 20 minutes or so. Two lovely cats also. Overall, we couldn't fault Lemon guesthouse and it's delightful owner.

The location of Lemon Guesthouse was my favourite of all the places I stayed in Chiang Mai. The side street where it's located is quiet & yet as soon as you leave this street, you're in the middle of everything. As an example, the Sunday Night Market is only steps away! The Lemon themed decorated room was a nice touch & well thought out. The balcony off my room had a table with chairs & I loved how all the plants added warmth & gave it some extra privacy. The owner Lam is the best! She'll help you whenever possible. I had a dental emergency & she gave me an excellent recommendation of where to go & my problem was quickly solved. To conclude, the hotel is comfortable, quaint & well located. It's a place where you'll definitely get a good night sleep!

Situated in a very quiet and clean neighborhood, in the centre of Chiang Mai old town. The room was extremely clean and simply - but very tastefully - decorated. The room was also very well equipped, with fast Wi-fi and good lighting. The bed was extremely comfortable. The owners were extremely friendly and helpful and all of these factors would make us choose Lemon Guesthouse again when we visit Chiang Mai next time. We can highly recommend this place!

I can honestly say that there was nothing that we didn't like!

We had the most amazing 5 days stay at Lemon hosted by Joe and Lam who are the most gracious and helpful hosts! The location is perfect, tucked away in a quiet and serene alley, within walking distance to all old quarter attractions. We enjoyed the best of Chiang Mai: Temples, food, coffee, shopping, boxing all within a stones throw! The rooms are clean and well maintained with room service on a daily upon request.

The location is very good and quiet. Plenty of places around to have breakfast. Nice little balcony to sit outside. The room was very clean and nicely decorated. Enough space and so many powersockets everywhere. Bathroom very big with a very good shower. Good toilet. The room was cleaned every day. The towels smelled so fresh 😊. Also we got so much water! So nice! The owners were so nice to us. They are very friendly and will help you if needed. Thank you!

For me personally the bed was a little bit to small for 2 people. The matrass was better than other ones in Thailand, but still a bit to hard. The pillows a bit to thick. But all of these things are personal so in general I would say it is a very good bed!

This is a stay I would recommend to anyone! The room is clean, quiet and decorated beautifully. The other reviews are very true in saying that the owners are the most loveliest and hospitable people I’ve come across my travels. The location is also perfect with many restaurants and popular tourist destinations a walking distance away as well as the Sunday walking street market.

The beds are amazing! All the beds in thailand are very very hard but this was a lot better :). Shower also good and good location, overall very good value for money

There’s a cat walking in the hallways which they should’ve included in the ad, since there’s quite an intense smell and one of us is allergic. It’s also 500 baht to check out 30 mins later which is a bit strange.

Perfect location in the old city of Chiang Mai - close to everything, yet away from any noise. Lam and Joe were exceptional hosts, going out of their way to make our stay unforgettable. Truly wonderful people, easy going, helpful and always with a smile. Can't see ourselves staying anywhere else in Chiang Mai next time we visit this beautiful city.

It is in the very center of the old city of Chiang Mai, walking distance to discover it. The most important thing for me in this place was, that I had privacy. Joe and his wife are amazing, very family-oriented, caring and advising.
