The staff was very nice and personable, really lovely! The rooms were quaint, clean and the beds were very comfy

We had an instance where the room was cleaned very poorly (not all towels changed, pillows on the floor, beds barely made, etc)

Staying this property for second time , property has got an amazing vibe with a great location, but yeas food should be worked upon , can be better . Otherwise all great.

We really enjoyed this hotel! Beautiful room with a large bed and good AC. Staff is very nice and easy to communicate with in English. Enjoyed the breakfast. Had a baby cot for our child that was of good quality. This hotel was really something extra and I would be happy to stay here again if I ever come back to Chiang Mai.

We stayed in the room type called “suite” and we found the curtains to be a bit small and letting in too much light. The other houses with “villa” rooms had shutters on their windows so I would guess it’s much better in those rooms.

Very nice and clean hotel! Staff speaks good English and really wants to help. Always somebody available behind the counter. Nice breakfast, with extra choices. Beautiful rooms. Authentic goodies in the hotel room. Very “instagrammable” place close to tourist attractions. Only negative point was that their booking account has a scam on it. They are partly(?) hacked. Because of that you will receive messages asking for your personal and creditcard information to “complete” or “verify” the booking. Don’t send this information! They changed their password multiple times and are aware of the issue, but it isn’t solved yet.

The location is perfect—right in the old city and close to Wat Phra Singh, a 7-11, a grocery store, pharmacy, restaurants, and massage spots. The 24-hour reception is convenient, and the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. Breakfast (7–10 AM) is delicious, with a variety of entree options to choose from. The rooms are bright, spacious, and thoughtfully equipped with complimentary drinks and fruits. We attended one of the free daily activities, the Thai tea-making class on Thursday. It was super fun! Also a special shoutout for the free airport transfer after checkout—such a thoughtful touch.

The bathroom had a slight odor, which could be improved, and the sound insulation in the rooms wasn’t ideal.

The hotel is in a very popular central location with a wonderful temple complex within 100 metres, very busy shops and street markets. The room was large with a comfortable bed (albeit with a mosquito-netting canopy. Usual friendly Thai staff. Lots of trips out opportunities on offer. Restaurant is good for evening meals. The pool was welcome and clean.

The photographs are not incorrect but they show the property in the best possible way! It is not as much in a 'green setting' nor as rustically charming as maybe implied. I do not think the 'villa' room we had was actually better than considerably cheaper rooms go for one of the more standard ones.

Buri staff were very kind and solicitous. The hotel is cute and very clean, you can see the care for the details. We arrived early and we could left our luggage at the reception while we did some tour around the city. When we arrived back, they have already put the luggage inside the room. Also we were provided with a city map and informations regarding the main places and temples. The breakfast was various and we loved it!

Althought they have provided us with repellent and the beds had mosquito nets, the rooms still had a lot of mosquitoes. I think an environmental repellant, something with citronella in it perhaps, could help. It was nothing that made our stay bad, just a feedback for improvement.

The staff are extremely kind and helpful. The location is very good if you’re interested in the night markets, shopping and restaurants. We stayed for NYE so it was the ideal place to be - close enough to walk but far enough away from the craziness. This hotel is perfect for those who want to be centrally located and does feel like an oasis of calm away from the busy streets of Chiang Mai. The staff are exceptional and made our stay very enjoyable.

We stayed for 5 nights over NYE and so an inflated price is to be expected. Being picky, the furnishings in the Suite are a little run down for the price paid. I’d also recommend putting a long chaise / sun lounger outside on the terrace so people can comfortably read/relax. Very minor gripes and we ultimately enjoyed our stay.

The location was very, very convenient. Unknown to us, the street in which the hotel is located becomes a street night market on Saturdays, which was a wonderful introduction to the area. The night market noise does not reach the hotel because the rooms are set far back from the road. The hotel was within walking distance of many temples. The room was very comfortable and spacious - the mattress was just right, as were the cushions. We loved the lemongrass fragranced shower gel, handwash, and body lotion provided. The bathroom was clean. The staff was exceptional from the moment we stepped into reception. We were greeted with a refreshing drink while Dew checked us in. She showed us a map of the area and made recommendations of the places we should visit. She handed over to Mint, who showed us to our room. He helped us book tours and also made great recommendations. Every morning, while at breakfast, Fang chatted to us about our previous day's experiences and asked about what we had planned for that day. Breakfast was sumptuous - a buffet as well as a menu to choose from, which included bacon and eggs, avo on toast and your typical Thai breakfasts. The coffee was great.

The layout of the bathroom was awkward with no shower screen, meaning the mat was soaking wet by the time I got out of the shower. There was no shelf to place the shower gel or other toiletries inside the shower area. Also, the water pressure was not great.

We liked everything about Buri Gallery. Would highly recommend and book for futures visits to Chiang Mai. Location was very central for shopping, eating and visiting local sites. Staff were friendly and helpful, in particular the tourism assistance was great given we were a little last minute in organising a day trip (most were booked out - the tourist desk called around and found us brilliant option for a trip to Doi Inthanon). The room (we were in an upstairs suite) was gorgeous and clean with a pretty balcony overlooking the garden which was lit up by lanterns at night.

It would have been nice to take a dip in the pool in the evening - but understand the time restrictions in the interest of adjoining rooms
