The location - located in old city it’s a 1 min walk to the gorgeous temple and the Sunday night market. Tons of trendy coffee shops and great restaurants nearby, as well as 7-11. A quick Grab/Bolt to the airport as well. If you are looking for a quiet area that’s walkable but still has great accommodations nearby, this is it. Service- friendly and polite staff. They were very attentive and greeted us every single time. Such a great experience. Room/Building - absolutely loved everything. From the characteristic charm, high ceilings, open pool/restaurant area. We fell in love with this place. Overall, would highly recommend 99 Hotel while you are staying in Chiang Mai.

Location was great with lots of restaurants, cafes, and attractions within walking distance. It is located within the old town square so most tours you book will pick you up at the hotel at no cost. Hotel staff was very nice and accommodating.

Hotel rooms are definitely well used with lots of random scuffs on the walls, etc., so it could probably use a fresh coat of paint or some updates. Pool is very small and basically in the lobby which is not an ideal set up.

The layout of my room was weird but in a good way. I liked it. You could walk in a circle from the bed to the bathroom to the balcony and back to the bed. The bed was very comfortable and I loved that the shower was semi-open air. There is no full roof on the bathroom. I think that is really cool. Plus the staff was super friendly and nice. Will definetly stay here again

The shower was usually either freezing cold or scorching hot and you had no real control when the temperature change happened so you just turned on the shower and hoped for the best. Also they still use actual keys with a lumpy block attached to it. I always prefer keycards

Great price, location, staff, size of room, very comfortable bed, quality sheets, dressing gowns, very high standard of cleanliness, air-conditioning and fan, food both tasty and well-priced, English speaking TV, kettle/fridge and instant coffee, etc/two bottles of water daily, safe, chain on door, bath tub as well as shower (slightly odd to have on terrace but actually rather lovely to bathe in the open air), toiletries, balcony where can sit and also dry clothes, washing machines and driers in building. Nice to have exercise room and small swimming pool. Not so great is standard of decoration/maintenance, eg paint and plaster peeling around bath. Problem of sound-proofing: woken first two night by neighbours with loud voices/checking in and out in the early hours; woken last night by neighbours having sex and headboard hitting the party wall. Would be nice to have a comfy chair to relax in.

Room was clean and calm. Staff excellent. We are good walkers so we didn't mind the walk into the main Night Bazaar market, taking different streets to get there and discovering new things. Then we'd get a Tuk Tuk back for 150TBH. The gym and the pool were great facilities. Around the area of the hotel are lots of lovely little eateries. We went to Cafe Anatolia a lot (BEST lamb skewers I ever had) and Green Curry also fantastic. They have a beautiful Hotel Cat concierge!

Just a small thing - every time we came back to the hotel we had to log into the wifi again (it didn't log in automatically although we ticked the box to remember).

We had a lovely stay at the 99 gallery hotel for 3 nights Good size room with an enclosed balcony with little day couch The bed was very comfortable In a great central location in Chiang mai A lovely pool and 2 gym rooms The staff were always so friendly and welcoming with smiles They held our big backpacks for us for a night after check out while we drove a bike up to Pai and stayed the night and came back again again which was very kind of them I would highly recommend staying here !

Hotel is located in the middle of the Old Town, right next to Wat Phra Singh temple and other attractions, restaurants and shops with souvenirs. Staff is super friendly and welcoming, I didn't have any issue to check in before oficial check in time. Room was pretty specious, clean in colonial style. Equipped with Refrigerator, AC, electric kettle, free bottles of water and Chinese style tea set that just stole my heart. There is open pool and fitness room. Both pretty small sizes, but considering that the hotel isn't big, it was never crowded.

Fitness room might be bigger with more equipment.

The location was good. The facilities were also great! The staff was friendly and helpful. We scheduled a taxi with the hotel to the airport and everything went as planned. The hotel also had a laundry room which was great to wash our clothes in the middle of the trip.

Incredible room, felt very luxurious for a reasonable price! Spacious, clean and a fantastic shower. Such a convenient location central within the old city - plenty of great restaurants nearby as well as a 7 eleven. Friendly and kind hotel staff, we loved our stay!

Breakfast option was too expensive for our budget compared to what we’ve had at other hotels so we didn’t have it. We did enjoy a coffee from the hotel however every morning :)

Great hotel right in the old town of Chiang Mai, so you're very close to a lot of good food, temples etc. The hotel staff are very friendly, and they have their own tour desk for if you want to do any local tours.

We stayed here twice, and if you can afford it, I recommend upgrading your room. The first week we stayed we got a basic room and it was quite small and tough to store big bags in if you travel heavy. Our shower also broke towards the end of our first stay and was not fixed.
