The staff were all absolutely amazing and friendly, shout out to Raoijia, (I really hope I spelled this correctly!) she was nothing but lovely and super helpful! Thank you so much for being so hospitable. The amenities were great, free coffee, water and snacks throughout the day was such a good bonus! The location is great, it's hidden away from the busy area but close to everything too. We will definitely be coming back! 😍. I've been staying in Chiang Mai for the last 9 years and this is my new favourite Hotel 😍

-The only thing I can say is we paid to get a lot of laundry done and when I opened the bags to pack them away they were still damp so I had to air them out to stop them getting mouldy. We did hand over 13kg of laundry to be picked up the next day though so that's probably why! I imagine if we'd done a normal amount it would have been dry. -The pillows were too large so I woke up with a sore neck but the bed was extremely comfy! I just think you need some thinner pillows <3 - That I'm not there now :(

The location near Wat Phra Singh in the Old City was really convenient and in a quiet side street. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The room size was surprisingly large which made for a great 9 night stay. The cleanliness was excellent, the breakfast was varied every day, fresh, beautifully presented and healthy options too. We loved that the coffee was made with a fresh bean coffee machine and available 24x7. We enjoyed the pool too. It's small touches that make it an all round excellent experience; for example having a magnifying mirror in the room, a coffee table and lounge chair as well as the chair at the bench for computer work. Also, when my husband suffered a day of Vertigo and vomiting, a staff member went above and beyond to get medicine from the pharmacy that really helped him recover. We will be rebooking when returning to Chiangmai.

We could not fault our stay

I had a lovely time at this hotel. Stayed here for one week in late January. The staff is super friendly and helpful - anything you need to know, just ask! The room was really nice, clean and everything in order. Loved the breakfast - its mainly Thai Food, with some bread and jam if you need the western style. I would love to come back here next year during my January stay.

The only thing I would want them to fix is the doors to the rooms - they close too hard due to the automatic closer on top of the doors, and it shuts with a bang, that woke me up a few times ( I go to bed early).

I was travelling solo and decided to treat myself at a stay at Nanee. Wow! It was incredible! The breakfast was different each day and was always delicious. They prepared Thai dishes to try each day. The pool was clean and the perfect way to refresh at the end of a long hot day. The aircon was a dream in the summer heat and the bath was a real treat for someone who doesn't usually have access to one. The check in and check out process was very easy and the staff was always there to answer questions in a professional manner. The location was perfect for me to visit the Saturday and Sunday markets near by. There's tasty restaurants and cafes nearby, with beautiful temples and lovely souvenir shops within easy walking distance.

This is a new, modern hotel . Considerable thought has been given to the design of the rooms. A delight to have USB points and plug sockets in convenient places. Even a powerful hair dryer next to a mirror. The beds are extremely comfortable and the shower is a joy to use. I never worked out the intricacies of the Japanese style toilet. Just the thought of asking for an explanation made me smile. The breakfast is the best that I’ve had in any hotel this holiday. It varied daily and the food was fresh and of good quality. All of the staff are kind and eager to be of help. I would be very happy to stay here again .

A ramp at the entrance would make it easier to enter with heavy suitcases.

The breakfast and staff there were so attentive!! I loved that the food is also available through the day with snacks, fruits and water. Also juices and yogurt are there in the fridge. It's very welcoming and nice atmosphere. They really tried their best to accommodate you as a guest. When I've asked for alternative milks with coffee they've sent a personnel to buy it just for me. Excellent customer oriented service ;-) Would be back again if I am in Chiang mai.

Pool is small and just next to the restaurant area - so you won't be swimming in there. It's more for decor I'd say. Still nice but not really to enjoy and swim. The view from the window is kind of shabby on the local dirty neighborhood. Also we had termites in the room and I could see them on every floor in the building. It's due to humidity. Not dangerous for people but quite annoying when you see them in groups on the floor. They mostly come for wooden furniture. So it's more for staff to be aware and take action as they are destroying it.

Liked the location. Also staff were really nice and they all spoke English. Helped us print out some documents we needed too. The rooms were nice and well kept. There’s an elevator which was a plus since we had a lot of luggage. Had free breakfast starting from 7am which we couldn’t take advantage of everyday but it was good the one day we were able to try it. There’s a room they put your luggage in if you arrive before check in.

In the room we had, the bathroom wall was see through (the shower and toilet) so beware if you’re traveling with family or friends

We loved our time at Nanee Old City House (now called Nanee Phra Singh -- Adults Only), which is a new, well designed, stylish boutique hotel with great service, free snacks and water any time of the day, and close proximity to restaurants, major temples, interesting shops, etc. The three major museums are also walkable. And it's quiet! Our room was super-comfortable in every way: comfy bed, efficient AC, excellent shower, great wifi and even a free-standing tub. The staff is caring and housekeeping is super-conscientious: each day the room was cleaned, towels, toiletries and bottled water replaced. And the breakfast was wonderful: self-serve with terrific variety (western and Thai). There's even a small pool running the length of the breakfast room. We hope to return to Chiang Mai one day and enjoy the pleasures of Nanee again.

An excellent hotel. Very convenient location, where everything in the Old City is within walking distance. Very close proximity to restaurants. The staff were welcoming and very helpful- even helping me book a bus trip to Chiang Rai online. The breakfast was simple, but very good (no complaints from me). The room was very comfortable.

The only complaint would be that the WiFi was slow at times. Also, the address on Booking.com is incorrect- look at Google maps instead.

The breakfast was amazing!! The location was central: a short walk to the Chang Puak night food stalls/market, many of the best temples. The staff was “over the top” the best. I couldn’t ask for more! Don’t miss a stop at the Fern Forest Cafe while you’re in the neighborhood.

Nothing. A reasonable person would discount the small items that aren’t perfect in relationship to all of the larger items I mentioned above.
